Good Morning:)

I am at work, thought I was going to get to sleep for a little bit longer but there is to much activity on the go so I figured it was just as well to get up.
We are suppose to have rain today so I think I will do something inside. I have to do P90X arms anyway, but I think I will do BM2 as well. I need to get a good leg workout in this week to...maybe tomorrow.

So we had plans to go into the city this weekend. Well, I was going anyway b/c we have a girls trip planned but I thought that everyone could go on Fri and I would meet up with the girls on Sat.I called my SIL yesterday to tell her that we were comming in and she has family comming. Everytime I call, she as family there...drives me crazy. We were gonna go in 2 weeks ago and it was the same deal. Right now it doesn't look like DH and the kids will be going so I will just hop in with the girls on Sat morning.
I should be looking forward to this trip but why is it I would rather stay home? Im such a baby! DH is going on a fishing trip in 2 weeks time for a whole week, leaving me with 2 kids and work...so why do I feel bad b/c I am leaving DS for one day. I have never been away from him before (except for work) so maybe thats why.
Anyway..it will be a fun trip. There is no way out of it. We are leaving here around 9:30, (the drive is 3 hours) then shopping a bit and then the stagette starting around 8.

I will bbl, after I get a nap,pick up DS and get a coffee:)

What do you mean you need to get a good leg workout in? Nine miles isn’t one?!!

I know those ambivalent feelings about doing things. Sometimes I just would prefer to stay home and have nothing going on than go out. The guilt of parenthood is incredible isn’t it” When we were expecting ourfirst child and taking Lamaze classes, on the last evening the instructor asked if we had any questions not addressed during the course. My husband asked when do we learn to give guilt. Let’s just say both of our parents were real good at it. I must not have ever learned how since not much seems to be the boys’ fault. Have fun with your trip.

I did Cardio Fusion this morning. I had planned to do it tomorrow morning, but my son who is home for a few weeks wasn’t here so the jumping around was okay. I really dislike when they complain that my exercising disturbs their sleep. Like their in and out and activities don’t bother me!

Also am hoping to check out a racewalking clinic this evening. Learning that I think will be good for the long term. I already walk pretty fast, but want to learn the proper form and techniques to do it properly. Just am not sure about running much more in my future. Think I’ll get new sneakers too. So off to work to pay for things.

Belinda, did you find the pink step? Isn’t it pretty amazing how durable the Step is? Honestly, mine must be just about 20 years old! And it has gotten a lot of use; it hasn’t just been sitting around all those years.

Amelia, did you dogwalk yesterday? Missed you.

Hey girls.....OMG have i had a time with my internet connectionsx(x(x( it went out tuesday evening and after being on the phone with my internet provider for over TWO HOURS we finally got it all straighten out this morning....did i miss anything here in cathe land???:)

Yesterday i did a doosie of a workout,30minute dogwalk,GS legs/standing,30min powerwalk.

Today is a thirty minute dog walk and a thirty minute powerwalk plus some abb work. My baby neice is coming over so i will be busy with her today and tommorrow! can't wait to get some squeezy hugs from her;-)

My eating has been horrible since tuesday evening:-( i eat fine until around 5-6ish...then its crapx( ive managed to eat all the crap out of the house(lol) so now there's NO REASON for me to stray from my eating healthy habits;-) And im not buying anymore crap(as in cookies,snack cakes,icecream,things to temp me)

Lori-Have fun with your friends,i know what you mean about feeling guilty when we leave our kids but afterall...we need breaks too! dont feel guilty...have a blast! Me and DH are such homebodies,we never go anywhere,LOL...Enjoy your p90x and Bm2 workout today!!

Cookie-awwww,you missed me(blushing;-))i missed you guys too,i was so aggravated with my internet provider,i got ahold of a idiot the first time i called to restore my connectionx(. This morning it was a women that i spoke too and she got it reconnected for me,LOL(no offense to all the men reading;-))Good job with cardio fusion this morning,high fives! Belinda-i skimmed yesterdays thread...glad to hear that your DD is liking the rotation...i too got VERY bored with basic step when i did it! How is she liking bodyfusion? That workout ALWAYS kicked my butt! Glad to hear the pink step came with basic step!

Cookie** awesome job on Cardio Fusion this morning. WTG! My DD found the pink step in Sports Academy! How is you PF doing?

Amelia** enjoy your workout today! Alesia hasn’t done Body Fusion yet! She is only in her second week of Cathe’s rotation! There is a pictureon the pink step on Cathe’s website, the pic. Is so small I didn’t see it was BS! Can you see it?

Hey Girls!

Im finally getting some computer time! I can see now what this summer is gonna be like, DD and I fighting over computer time!:-(
I woke at 10:15 and couldn't get back to sleep. Its suppose to be quiet tonight at work so if Im lazy, thats not a real big deal:)

Yes, I suppose 9 miles is a leg workout;) but you girls know what I mean!:) A weight workout, I haven't done one in about 2 weeks now. Im thinking that while DS falling to sleep I could do my P90X workout, then BM2 and then maybe fit some legs in. If not, legs will be done tomorrow.

Cookie** I didn't mind leaving DD after I started but I haven't left DS yet so I guess thats where the guilt is comming from. Then part of me wonders how peaceful my trip will be b/c for sure DH will be calling me to tell me what DD did! Then again, I am leaving him with his father and he will be quiet happy. We are thinking about taking a trip next yr and Im not sure how the 2 of us will leave him for a week. I don't think it will happen.
NOw, you tell those sons of yours that when they pay the bills, they can complain!;) Good job with your workout!

Ameila** I giggled a little when I read that there was no crap left in your house. Prehaps I thought you were gonna say that you threw it out...but no...you ate it!:-( :) I think the hardest time of the day for me is from 3-6 cause if I am home, Im kinda bored b/c I don't really have much to do, other then play and I tend to wander up into the kitchen and look in the cupboards. Hopefully you are back on track now!

Im hoping to get my VS parcel today! I paid extra for express shipping and Im hoping to have my jeans for girls night...if not,I will probably just buy another pair when I am shopping on sat! LOL

Lori-LOl,yeah...i ate all the crap in my house. So far so good,im back on track. I will wait until my sister gets off work this evening to to tackle my workouts:) I know what you mean when you metnioned a leg workout...weights, speaking of weights,i had to do GS legs yesterday and my legs were screaming all day afterwards...but no doms today?:-(. You know how us workout freaks like our doms;-)

I did P90X back and bic, then BM2 seg 1 and 4DSBC.I haven't done that one in a while.
My parcel also came but my jeans are to big:( I hate returning things.I don't think if I wash them and dry them they will shrink enough...oh well.

Hi girls,

I ended up doing Power Yoga Total Body with Rodney Yee (that is one tough workout!),I did the entire 63 min. + earlier I did Total Body Stretching #3 with my DD! I am very stretched out today! I will work my abs tomorrow!

Lori** nice job on your workout today! Sorry your new jeans are to big! I hate returning things also! It is very expensive!

Hope I’m not too late and everyone else is asleep.

Well, the racewalk clinic was fun. I learned about arms (90 degree angles and swing only to your hips), pretend there is a rope attached to your navel (ouch!), and you are pulling on that rope with your hands. So that gives you a slight bend at the hips and helps propel you forward. The leg on the forward strike stays straight, but is normal walking gait on the return. My favorite description was your hands should be held with your fingers like when they are holding fine champagne and you can’t spill a drop. That move I’ve got down. We only went for an hour, and I’m hoping I can start attending this weekly group fairly regularly. That means, though, I have to give up my incredibly fun running group. Oh well, age and pf is voting for racewalking.

Boy, thank God, I did Cardio Fusion this morning and did that racewalking ‘cause I was so bad today. I seldom drink alcohol and have been good with my eating lately, but today was not a downhill slide, it was a plummet. A York peppermint patty, salmon lunch out at Chilis with two (yes two!) mango frozen margaritas. I am trying to restrain myself from looking up the calorie overload. But it was fun and tomorrow’s another day.
And it is MM again.
