Good Morning Ladies

I think I'm going to do All Step today from CTX, and some kind of Abs from Exercise TV. I turned on that channel last night looking for some different yoga, and I ended up doing Jillian's Yoga Meltdown. I've heard Amelia talk about it, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so used to doing yoga for relaxation only, this really threw me for a loop! There was no ocean waves or soothing voice in this session! :eek:

Deb- Enjoy your lunch today!! So I'm guessing your friend is just in town visiting from Texas? Are you thinking about going to Houston for the RT? I have read the bffm e-book.....a while ago, but I lost it when somehow I had a computer meltdown. I know, I should just break down and get it again....lol Yeah Helene is my "go to " for all things DG lately....lol What I would really like to do is just land some kind of date with someone, so I have something to talk about...lol But that's kind of hard when I don't go anywhere but work and my parent's house. :confused:

So I was even invited to a cookout later at DR's house...(remember him? the guy I work with? I've always loved that guy.......lol). And then his buddy texted me last night asking me if I was going. *sigh* It's just too much pressure, I'm not used to being "social" anymore. I don't want to drink, I don't want to be out late, I have nothing to talk about (of interest to them, anyways)....so I want to break out in hives.....so why bother?? It's different at work, being social. I'm fine within those four walls. But outside in the real world?? I just want to crawl in a hole. :( I'm kind of afraid of growing old by myself with 12 cats......at least I'll stay in shape if that happens? Ok enough of my self-therapy session.

So what are everyone's big plans for the weekend??

Workout done...I did Hardcore extreme workout #3, no leg drills at the end *my legs are fried, had a real hard time with some of the plyo today*, and then did a standing ab routine from exercise t.v. It was cool, something different. There were some R rated moves in there *in my opinion*....lol. :eek:

Good Morning!!

I am sitting here in a dark hotel room, sipping coffee and trying not to wake my friend up! I went out and picked up coffee and she is still asleep so I figured I would do some browsing on my phone. I am not sure if she is a morning person or not...I guess I will soon find out!
We did a little bit of shopping last night and then we watched sex and the city 2. It was awesome! I'm not sure if it was as good as the first one but it was still good.
Today were are going to try to lay low and reserve our energy. We have to pick up our race kits and we found a mall so we may go back there...or we may wait until monday before we leave!

I would like to read up on what I missed yesterday but its to hard with this phone. I seen some computers downstiars but there was also a spot to swip my hotel key so I am thinking I had to pay to use them!

Less the 24 hrs and I will be well on my way. Crazy! Crazy! Looking forward to it being over!

Iris** you and I are a lot alike. Half of the things I am invited to, I don't want to go to. Some for other reasons then not having anything to talk about. People are just very clicky where I leave. Actually my coworker tricked me into working a party for her again. She wanted to know if I would go on call the night of the 19th b/c she was helping with a fundraiser. What she didn't tell me was this fundraiser was a 80's party that everyone is invited to! Sneaky or what?? She won't fool me anymore. Not that I wanted to go but its how she went about it. She didn't really lie...just wasn't exactly up front either! But that's an example of this town!

I may check in tomorrow morning! If not I will after the race!

Yay, had a good nights sleep(except for that damn chihuahua waking me up once, whining because he couldn't get his little fat but on the bed).

Im starting Debbie's Getting Ready for Summer 2010 Monday:D Well, the Generic breakdown of it...that will give me more variety because i don't have all the workouts.

Today will be some cardio,abb then some yoga(Rodney yoga,not Jillian yoga:confused:)

Helene-So sorry your DD got sick, i hope she feels better. And yes, that stuff is worst that poop:confused:

Iris-I'm miss anti-social, don't really care about going over to anyone's house to be social. DH and I use to be invited to friends,family's & co-workers houses but in the end we would decline. Now were not invited anywhere,LOL. Guess they got the idea, nothing personal to them...were just home bodies!:D I'd rather stay at home and watch movie:eek:. So, how did you like that yoga workout? Its definitely not for relaxing, its different. The only thing i don't like about it is she doesn't give direction very good(which leg to send back,right or left:confused:?) I did level one and was sweating at the end, wonder what level 2 is like:eek: Awesome workout today!

Lori-So, was your room mate a morning person? Im SO JEALOUS, i have to wait until next weekend(if then) to see the new SATC. Im watching the series right now. Have a AWESOME RACE GIRL!!!

Hi girls,

I'm back from meeting my friend it was a lot of fun:) It was just my SIL, me & my friend and her family so it was nice and quiet. DH wasn't thrilled it's a long story and it happened many years ago but he can't get over it. I'm going to skip my workout today don't have it in me a nap sounds better:eek: may go out with DH tonight.

Iris - I like to stay home too. I think when you start PT it will be a whole new world for you and you'll be surrounded by people who share the same interests as you. We don't have exercise TV but it sounds like there's a lot of cool stuff on there.

Lori - Sounds like you having fun . . . I bet your relaxing so much more then if you were at home. Good luck tomorrow . . . less than 24 hours away:)

Amelia - You had a good workout today. I'm thinking of doing either Debbie's Summer or leg blast workout after BBL.

Quick check-in.

Busy day. It happens when the weather is nice and the kids want to be outside. DD is fine. Which is good because she got sick three times last night.

No workout yet, but I've been active enough that it might just count for today :)

The BFFM challenge is a riot at the moment. The girls I'm with for better or for worse are still trying to find the person who can start on the same day and all that. I am signing up no matter what tomorrow morning. I should have flown solo like Iris. It might turn out that way in the end too. I got the venuto book from the library too.

Right now I am reading "the end of over eating" that I got from the library too. It's kind of scary. They did rat studies, and the rats were behaving with certain high fat/sugar food, like they do with cocaine. And the food industry knows it and tries to design food that way. An enlightening book to say the least :confused:. I recommend it.

Sorry for the lack of personals. Might BBL but not sure.
