Good Morning!

Today is a rest day b/c of tomorrow mornings run. I need to go register for that today. That should be a breeze compared to last Sundays run! Phew! Yesterday I did a 50 mins run , had to cut it short b/c it started to rain.

Ameila** When I first started running I probably did 5 kms, maybe.Im not 100% sure. I started running after DD was born, then after I met DH I kinda got into the comfy rut where I didn't do anything but eat (plus I was in collage) After I gained about 15 lbs all I could afford was a pair of sneakers. Then I started increasing my distance, not speed. I went to 8K , then 10k (everyday) and thats when my knees started aching. BUT I couldn't run in the winter monthes so I found cathe. I gave my knees a break during the winter and rain all summer. You should probably start with the 3:1 ratio or 4:1 whatever is more comfy for you. Run for 3 and walk for 1 till you get the hang of it.

Bekinda** Did you have a good workout yesterday? Its been a week since I did weights, my body is gonna be so sore when I do a weight workout again! I don't have any "real" plans today, maybe DH as something up his sleeve for me.

Good Morning Ladies,

Lori-Thanks for the info! Right now my speed is comfy for me,4.6 and it doesn't feel like im 'running to catch up'. I ran 10minutes then recovered for 2-did that three times. Today is another run and i think i will do the same interval! I didn't know you have another race today? GO LORIE!!!!

Iris-I need to put some more music on my mp3 player! I get tired of music so quick! Have a great workout!



so,today is a run interval(if thats considered an interval) and some abb work. Tommorrow is cardio and weights! My kids are going over to my moms tonight so this is how I feel about that.... oh yeah,happy dance;)
