I will take a rest day today.

Iris - there are some intersting characters, everywhere, lol! Glad you like your t-shirt. Wow, you are already in M2, time flys.

Kirstin - glad you had fun yesterday. I love animals too. How was C & W? Now the bidding war starts, lol.

Amelia - she is soooo cute! Did you get that run in?

Helene - I can't wait for the new DVD's either. How was Six Flags?
 
Debbie - that's a nice way to break up a workout, at least you stayed cool.

Deb: Yep, six flags season passes. :) Was really busy yesterday though and that was rather annoying. I like having the whole place to myself :p Nice job on High Reps. You're giving me ideas for today's workout. :)

OK, so I'm in a fine mood this morning. :mad: Stepped on the scale (yes I know, that evil thing) and I'm up two pounds since last week. I am so frustrated. Started googling for nutritionists in my area with a sports nutrition focus and there didn't seem to be any? I've been doing this lower carb thing for two weeks now. Lost a bunch of water the first week and now nada. I only slipped up a couple of time last week. My workouts have been good too. SO, if any body has got any idea I'm all ears. And I can't start now because I'm going on vaca in two weeks but when I come back in september I'm going to follow something hard core. At this point, I am thinking of doing Cooler 1 from the eat clean diet recharged until the cows come home. It's hard, but it has carbs so at least I'll be able to get my workouts in. If I can stick to it..... I know Trish had good results with it.

OK, rant over. UGH. Happy Sunday everyone......
 
Hello all! Nikolas' birthday party was a lot of fun. The kids went on rides, and we went on a few as well, lol. It was a great day. Then Jessica and her family came over and we had dinner and hung out. Obviously, there was no workout last night. I felt that I really had to do two workouts to make up for the two rest days, so I just finished AS and HR. I burned over 1000 calories, that outta do it, lol. :eek:

Now we are just chilling out. We have had such a busy and exciting week between the last two games of tee ball, Yankee game, birthday dinner, Bronx Zoo and then the party yesterday. DH has two more days off. Then I will have to start getting my lesson plans together and getting serious about back to school! I bought Nikolas a workbook to review the skills and things he learned in Kindergarten for over the summer. He is halfway through. I have had him reading beginner books too. They even have beginner reading for Star Wars fans, so it has been very easy to get him motivated.

Helene- in-laws are the worst, lol. Two pounds could be a lot of things. . . water weight, time of the month. Wait a few days and weigh yourself again. You might be surprised. Aim for Wednesday. ;) Hang in there!

Belinda- Hope you have fun in DC! Are you doing any tours are anything?

Okay, kids are calling me. Well, they've been calling me, but now they are being loud and obnoxious about it. Gotta go.

soooo, no workout -again:eek: just got off work a few hours ago and now we're getting ready to go out to eat. Im off tomorrow so I plan on getting in a good sweat.

Oh and I'm totally going to try my best to get the munching at work under control...i feel so bloated today. I haven't been eating very good lately so its time to kick some bad habits. Tomorrow, ITS ON!:cool:

Helene-Completely agree with Kristin...wait a few more days, make sure to drink a lot of water and see what the scale says then. Keep going, sometimes the body takes its time to recognize change.:)

Kristin-Great job on your workouts girl!! wow!

Kristin: Awesome birthday! I was myself on the slides in the playground and playing hide and seek. It was so much fun. Wow on the workouts today. That's like a mini RT in your own house :eek:

Amelia: Work life can be really challenging sometimes. God knows I struggle with it and with keeping my house clean. Now here's the deal. You keep your munchies in check for two weeks and I stick to cooler 1 for two weeks. Does that work for you?

Kristin and Amelia: Thanks for your kind words. I think you are right, but I already sabotaged myself for today. :rolleyes: So I'm not going to weigh in again until next Sunday. I flirted briefly with the weight watchers approach, but I find it is not for me (not enough protein?). Maybe in 2012 if I get nowhere by then.

So today is going to be a rest day. Just need a break mentally from trying to do something about the jiggle. And a break from the diet two. I went two weeks where I was really good so there. And tonight I'm going out to eat with DH and it's not going to be clean either. :p :rolleyes:

I've thought some more and decided that I will do Cooler one from eat clean recharged until vacation. It's easy cooking. It allows more carbs though not a lot. And it's only for two weeks. These past couple weeks with the low carb approach some workouts I really had to dig in to finish and it was super hard. So a little more clean carbs will be good.

So for the next two weeks: cooler one and the last CLX phase with some nice cardio thrown in. I feel strong with my workouts lately so I hope to keep them going.

There, decision taken :p At least I've been doing great and was completely able to stick to the CLX rotation. I won't have any problem finishing it out.

Hey girls. Just finished up BM2. That workout killed my legs today! I'm glad I got it in though. Eating was OK this weekend but I still needed to make up for the horrible week I had eating-wise :eek:

Helene, maybe you're not eating enough to accompany all the hard workouts you've been doing? I know if I don't eat all my calories, my body freaks and holds onto weight like there's no tomorrow. Also, how's your water intake been going?

Kristin, DAMN girl now that is a WO!!! :eek: Glad to hear you guys had a great weekend! It sounds awesome :) That is a great idea about the Star Wars books!

Amelia, have a great dinner! Are you guys celebrating anything or just going out?

Hi Everyone,

I'm back in soggy NJ:confused:. Texas was awesome although it never dropped below 100 degrees while we were there (the day we flew in it was 114!!). I enjoyed my dad so much...he's just the BEST!! And, thankfully, my dad is just fine. It was a scary few days, but the cardiologist says he was misdiagnosed and all is good! Of course, my eats were a mess...everything from pop tarts to pizza hut was scarfed down! LOL! I worked out more days than not so hopefully that helped some. I left my tv connector for my iphone so I won't be able to do any of my download wos for a little while:( Today's wo was PH UB + CCC circuit premix.

Belinda - I so need a rest day!! Just feeling sluggish...maybe the bad food is catching up to me. Hope your day was enjoyable;)

Helene - I'm joining the chorus! I think over the next week or two you will start to see more results. If I recall correctly, my biggest drops were in the third and fourth week (even though we had switched to stripped at that point). Your wos have been kick a$$ and your eating pretty clean. Hang in there! The scale will do the right thing:D And if not, open up a window and toss it out! Eat clean recharged, here she comes! Hope you had a wonderful time with DH tonight:)

Kristin - Sheesh! That was some week! Glad you are not going back to work this week:) Is Nikolas 6 now?

Amelia - I'm with you! Tomorrow, it's on, no more munching (take a look at my diary on mfp...nothing but munchies!!)

Melissa - ^5s on your wo today! How are things with DA? I need to read back and catch up!

Jessica - Looks like fly barre classes are back on the schedule:) Tuesday and Thursday are my late start days, so those will work best for me. I'll PM my email address tonight.

I did Kenpo X today . . . thinking of doing some more workouts from P90X this week. We went to my Mom's today to celebrate my brother's birthday, ate too many sweets:mad:, food shopping tomorrow so it will force me to get healthy food in.

Belinda - Ugh, on the bidding war:( but I hope you win!

Helene - You must know all the tricks for when it's crowded. I agree with everyone else just give it a few days because as woman anything can change the numbers on the scale. Great idea to do cooler plan:) I'm planning to get a bunch of veggies tomorrow.

Kristin - You had a fun/busy week, awesome job on the w/o's . . . where did you find the energy:) Do you start school after Labor Day?

Amelia - So did you decide on the puppy's name?

Melissa - Great job with your workout.

Trish - Happy to hear you Dad is doing well. Did you Mom workout with you this time? I didn't realize you lost 10lbs, just looked at your ticker . . . Great job!!!!!!!!
