Good morning girls,

How are you this morning? I got a good night sleep last night, I went to bed around 9 p.m.!:D:D I realy needed that sleep! I will do cardio today!

Belinda, what cardio are you doing? Are you still doing BFL? I did MM today. Was hoping Cathe's Sept rotation would be posted - but not yet...Oh well, I just switched the order of FF's.

Back to school starts this week in the northeast. Only that means today I have to sit on a bleacher in an auditorium for a few hours, which sounds more like a form of torture for my piriformis. Have a drs appt this afternoon and am hoping for an easy relief from it.

What is everyone else up to today? Hope it is a great one.

I was waiting all morning for Cathe to post the Sep. roatation! I just finshed IMAX 3 and abs from PS back/bi! Yes, I am still doing BFL! I lost a lot of weight with BFL! FF's rotataion sounds good too!

Enjoy your afternoon, hope it isn't to much torture!:p I remember those times! LOL!

Im not sure what I will do today? Im still debating on maybe doing some weight work? I mean,as long as i don't use my back it should be alright...right? Its still sore this morning,not fully healed yet and i would hate to upset it? thought about doing biceps,shoulders and triceps from MM? and a thirty minute powerwalk?

alot of question marks for me today,LOL:D

Cookie-I hope sitting in the bleachers isn't too much torture on your piriformis:( I hope the doc can help today!

Good Morning!!! :)

Sounds like everyone is doing pretty well. I have some nice DOMS going on from yesterdays workout. Mainly in my back and butt:) Good! Cause you know as we get older that area needs a little lifting,right?;) Im not ready for saggy butt
syndrome just yet:eek::eek::eek:

Today I have a couple of things on the go. I need to get a shorter run in. Today is suppose to be speed running but I can't do that with a stroller so I may do that tomorrow morning before I go to work. I have to take DS to the sitters for a visit, just to see if he remembers her. DH and I have apts at the spa for the hot tub and massages:) and my sister is leaving tomorrow, so my sister and my mom are staying here for alnight.
I also didn't tell you guys that a friend of ours called and wanted to know if we wanted to do Ballroom dancing classes! We are only doing it b/c its a group of people that we know and it should be a laugh! Its every Wed night from 9-10, once a month I won't be able to make it b/c I will be at work.

Belinda ** Glad to hear you got a good nights sleep! I was tired when I went to bed and DS woke just as I started to dooze off, then I couldn't get back to sleep. I was probably awake until 1'ish:mad: We did get to sleep in a little though, until the workers showed up and the dogs went crazy!

Cookie** The kids start school here tomorrow as well. DD goes to junior high this yr:confused: Im not sure what will happen from here on in but I will have to keep an eye on her forsure! She can be easily persuaded in situations, but yet she is a leader and not a follower. Hard one to understand! I hope you get some satisfaction from your Dr's visit!:)

Ameila** You poor thing...you sound confused:p You could probably even do chest work? Maybe the lying floor work? Im not sure about the pushups cause you will be using your back then. I also notice that with shoulder work my back can arch when my shoulders are getting tried so becareful of that. I know how boring carido after cardio after cardio can be. I must have did that for 3 weeks!

Iris** You snuck in on me. Thats what I get for writing to much. Have a good workout...I haven't done that workout in ages!

Im going to get ready for my run now. I don't have much time to be sitting around on my sore butt! Cross your fingers that I don't get caught in the rain!

Iris – I almost pulled LIC out this morning! LOL! Awesome job, girl! I think I will do that one Thursday! And NO I didn’t eat leftovers! LOL! I had a nice salad for lunch! Tonight I will have BBQ Riblets (soy protein), potatoes, and veggies! What are you eating for dinner?

Sounds really nice! My DD always wanted to take Ballroom dancing classes! Who knows you and your DH may like it! I think you/DH and your friends will have lots of fun! Enjoy your workout later!

Yayy...LIC is over..what a "fun little workout"...lol I enjoy the music!!

Lori- I would jump at the chance to take ballroom! I take line dancing now, (have for years)...so much fun!!

Belinda- I'll be over for riblets (haha)...I'm having Mich Ultra for dinner...at the bowling alley...I can't believe my league starts already, it's way too nice out!

Morning Ladies,

Well, I never did get to DM Ultra Cardio yesterday. The Aleve definitely helped my back, but I still felt a little pain, so I opted to hold out another day. This morning was much better, only slight discomfort depending on how I move. I walked to work this morning from the train station (2 miles) and plan to walk back this evening to at least get some cardio. Tomorrow, I should be back on track ;)

Amelia - Wow, your back is still not right yet? Is it getting any better at all? Are you thinking of going to get it checked out? Light weight work may not be too bad, right? I agree with Lori on the pushups, though. Btw, excellent job with staying on track with your clean eating...I'm right there with you. Three days of no cheats and I'm feeling great. Do you usually throw in a cheat day at the end of the week? Or do you think you will keep going with it? I used to only cheat with 1 meal per month...Boy have things changed!!!!

Hi Belinda - YAY on the good night's sleep!! For me, it's priceless...my entire week improves from one good night's sleep. I'm probably going to do another week or two of the Deb's Get Ready for Summer 2008 rotation (it was so effective for me the first time around). Then I do want to try her Sept rotation...looks like a good one....3 days of cardio...don't know if my knees can take it...speaking of, IMAX3, love it but my knees can't stand it:mad:

Iris - I'm hoping to get that DM Ultra Cardio in tomorrow morning...hope there won't be any puking...LIC would be a much happier choice, but no chance of that!

Lori - Olivia was born December 28th, so yup, they are pretty close. Any more...hhhmmm, I think the shop is CLOSED! LOL!!! Two is plenty for me. We thought about having just one, but I'm so glad that we went for the second. It has made a huge difference in Amaya's life....they are so lovey-dovey with each other. I guess all that will change with time;) Great job on the DOMs, too. Ok, I'll let you in on a little secret of mine....when I have DOMs in the butt, I get up and sit down a few extra times during the day just so I can feel the ache. Yeah, I'm a weirdo:eek:, but I love feeling DOMs in my butt more than anywhere else...LOL!! I guess it's because that is the area that needs it the most :p

Cookie - My DD is starting 1st grade tomorrow....I'm also dreading the 'welcome back' speeches...I'll be so happy when the school makes better use of their technology. Some of that stuff could just be posted on their site. I just googled piriformis...ouch! I hope you won't have to sit for long. Good luck with your Dr's appt.

Belinda, I don't know how you are without much sleep, but it really catches up with me. I get even more forgetful, and just feel sort of overwhelmed. Plus I hate to confess, but then I have even less patience for stupid things. You'll need another good night's sleep after Imax 3 that's a calorie expender.

Amelia, I think you should take it easy with your back. Continue with powerwalks and maybe try some yoga. Yeah, I know, I do think that is a four-letter word but I'm working on learning to like it. Have you tried any Alleve for it?

Lori, we did ballroom dancing a few years ago. Gee, must be more like 12 now that I think of it. My husband was pretty good, but it really was just an excuse for us to get out and away from the kids. We should do it again. I'll have to look for a course in the spring to help us get ready for the son's wedding next October. Thanks for the idea.

Iris, I'm sorry I thought I did pm you. Must have done it wrong. Yes, that's where I work. I haven't done LIC in a while. Can't even remember what music is there. How do you decide what you are going to do? Are you following a rotation? I can't believe Cathe's still is not up.

Trish, my butt is still sore! How did you hurt your back? Good idea to hold off on DM until it is better. Yeah, so much of that first day stuff is redundant. I'm with you - put it up online. Isn't it funny that we talk about taking a walk as an easy day for us, when most others (non-Cathe informed individuals) think of it as major exercise.

Apparently, I have piriformis and bursitis. Went to the ortho, and he sent me on to a chiro. Have to go back tomorrow for a session with the chiro. The ortho told me I'm off kilter and really need an alignment. Then the chiro said I was like a BMW since I'm in really good shape but need an alignment. Guess it is better than being compared to a really old car like an Edsel or some animals like an elephant. I also have bursitis in my shoulder on the same side so I must really be off kilter! It really bothers me to drive my standard car and doing kickboxing. The car I really don't care about but KPC I love.

Well since I did DM UCB on Saturday, I'm thinking of Cardio Fusion for tomorrow. Guess I'll try to follow Debbie's Sept rotation. Any other ideas?

Stopped at the library and picked up a couple more Jodi Piccoult books. No housework will be done for a while now...

Hey girls! Today ended up being a rest day...well i did clean the kids room very well this morning! I mean bedsheets,curtians,steam clean the carpet...the whole nine yards! thats seems to be the most popular 'area' for Rocky to go poop at:mad:. Ive been taking him out(rocky is the chihuahua;)) all day...every two hours! He still managed to crap twice in the house,sigh, im not giving up until the little guy is house broken:)

Trish-I try to have one cheat meal a week:confused:its hard to just have one a week though....i use to have a whole day but thats not working anymore(lol)! High fives on the clean eating...it does feel good! Did you get to walk home? Great job with walking to work! My back is feeling better today! I think tommorrow will be a weight work day:eek::eek::eek:

Last check in for the night. I did get my walk in after work so that makes about 4 miles for the day. Tomorrow, DM Ultra Cardio is all mine

Cookie (AKA BMW;))- I'm not sure what I did to my back. I just woke up one morning and it was hurting. Probably slept funny or something.:confused: How did the bleachers treat you? Good thing you went to a specialist. Hopefully you will have some relief soon. :D

Amelia - Um, that doesn't quite sound like a rest day!!:p I'm so glad your back is feeling better:):) I know you will be happy to wrap your hand around some weights!! Enjoy!! I haven't decided on my cheat meal strategy yet. If I'm not craving one by the weekend, I'll skip it. As long as I'm working, I usually don't have too tough of a time sticking to clean eating. I just have to get through the weekends and my favorite salad place closed down:(...that was a saturday afternoon ritual. It always felt like a cheat but it was healthy...the girls and I would go there after Amaya's dance class and 'do lunch':rolleyes::rolleyes:...LOL! The girls really enjoyed it. Guess we'll just have to find a new hangout.
