Good morning girls,

Today I will do Cardio Kicks! Yes, I love KPC too!

Iris** nice workout yesterday! Yes, I am doing Cathe”s Nov. rotation.

Trish** let us know how you like S&H! I love the Slow and Heavy series. Enjoy your UB workout today! No, I haven’t started my 1RM yet, I think I will wait until STS comes out.

Cookie** this week is my last week of 12 week BFL challenge. I will do Cathe’s rotation as is starting next week. I will wait for the 1RM until STS comes out, I do change my weight regular. I will join you girls on the 1RM test, let me know when you want do it!

Lori** how did you run go yesterday?

Amelia** I hope your Cathe account will be fix soon. Miss you girl!

Good Morning!

My last day off, then its back to work tomorrow for the weekend:confused: Atleast its not night shifts:)

I was sooo lazy yesterday. And it wasn't that my body was lazy, it was like my head couldn't wake up! I felt like I was in a cloud all day. So I put off my run until 8'ish last night and went alone. It was nice to get out for a night time run (cause I never do that anymore) but boy, I certainly had to watch where I was running. I ended up running for about 45 mins, which was fine. I feel alot better today though, I think I slept to late yesterday morning and thats why I couldn't wake up.

Im not sure what todays workout is going to be. Its suppose to warm up, so I would like to get out for a run. The sooner the better but DD as the Ipod so I may have to wait until after lunch:)

Belinda** You like kickboxing? Im not a huge fan but every now and then its o.k. Have a nice lunch with DH!

I will probably be back later. Besides for my workout there are a few things I need to do today. We are also having friends over for a late dinner tonight so I need to get stuff for that!

Hey Girls:)

Back again. I have my run done for the day and now I need to get some food in my belly! I was not in the mood to run once I got started. The wind was in my face and the stroller was pulling to the left. Then DS started taking off his shoes and when he wasn't doing that he was putting his foot in front of the wheel..which was slowing me down!:confused: Anyway, I still got a 65 mins run in...not counting the numerous times I stopped to deal with my situations!

Lori - your night run sounds awesome! I think you body was telling you to slow down, you needed that rest. Glad you got plenty Sorry, I had to laugh at your DS, taking his shoes off and putting his foot in front of the wheel Sounds like he had lots of fun! LOL! WTG on your 65 min. run:eek:
 
OMG,I can post:D:D:D i called the customer service line and i was almost in tears this morning....lol. When I tried to log in this morning it said that I was banned:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: LOL. I guess they figured it out...yaahoooo!

You girls have no idea how lost i have been with my cathe forums,you guys are the only people(besides my DH) who understand how important diet and excersice are to me. I just can't believe the response I get at work when I tell my fellow co workers how long I work out or how much water I drink a day....there shocked. Whats up with that? so,i won't bring it up to them anymore and I will just tell you guys about it!LOL

Lori-Another great run for you...great job! I too can't wake up when I sleep late. Ive got to run into town too....remember that little doggie that we got? Well,(and I really shouldn't be sharing this,lol) but he has chewed holes in all of our socks and underwear:confused:so,im off to buy some more socks and underware for everybody in the house:)

So,for the past couple of weeks i haven't really been counting cals but kinda watching what I eat and ive had some good results....my scale is back down to what it was before I started my job. Now if I can just get in those weight workouts i use to do:eek: Im still doing my cardio....four or five times a week.

Afternoon girls,

Today's work out was S&H CB. It was my first time and I have to say that I did enjoy it but didn't care for the long 1 min rests in between sets. I'm looking forward to DOMs in the morning;) My rotation calls for the other two S&H wos this week so I'm looking forward to trying it all out;)


Hey Belinda - How does Cardio Kicks compare to KPC? I also have Kick Max but was a little disappointed at the intensity level, but did like the drills. Great job on your wo;) Hope your lunch with DH was fun!

Lori - Sorry you had a tough time with your run today:( Hopefully dinner with friends will be relaxing for you:D! Whatcha making??

Cookie - I haven't tried any other kickboxing dvds. I'm afraid to try anyone else's dvds because I don't think they will live up to Cathe and I will be disappointed. (My stepdaughter says that she thinks I'm afraid to "cheat" on Cathe...LOL:rolleyes:). I may look into to Kimberly though. Getting a recommendation from someone who does Cathe goes a long way ;). Hey, it'd be great to do the 1RMs together:) I am going to have a look at all the tests (I've read in other posts that there are tons) to try and determine how long it will take and how to break them down. I'm figuring maybe 1-2 weeks will do it. How was GS C&T for you today?

YAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!! Amelia's back:D! So good to see you. Good job on the eating and cardio! Now that you're back we can encourage you to work on your weights;). I know what you mean about people at work not getting it....I get the same crazy looks. They think I'm obsessed. I say "Hell, yeah! Obsessed about being healthy:eek:!"

Trish – you would like the intensity level in Cardio Kicks!! How it compares to KPC, I think KPC has a fun factor! I really love them both! I had a nice sweat fest! Glad you enjoyed S & H Chest/ biceps, nice job!

Sooooo glad you are back, Amelia! Missed you! I get the same response with friends/ family when I talk about exercise or diet, they all look at me like I am crazy! Go figure! They just not getting it! Keep up the good work!

Amelia, you have been missed! Glad you're back, and I'm glad you've been able to stay on track with your diet and exercise. What commitment! Yeah, there are not many people I ever talk about it with either. Usually just my husband and my daughter, and they just roll their eyes. It's not worth it for me to even try to discuss it with others.

Belinda, you had me go look up Cardio Kicks! I didn't realize it was such a good one, and now I'm daydreaming about it. Of course, if I do break down, I think i'll also get the one with MIS and BodyMax on it. Perhaps I'll ask for those oldies for a Christmas gift. Did you decide to get the calendar?

Trish, I have to pick up those Platemate things before I do the reps. I think there is a place around here that is supposed to sell them, but it will take a few days for me to get around to it. Did you want to start the reps before or after Thanksgiving? Kimberly Spreen has a nice personality that comes thru on the dvd. While it is not as intense as Cathe's, it's good and fun.

Lori, I remember my kids doing the same thing with the wheel of the stroller! Scary, frightening, and annoying. Hope you enjoy your evening with your friends. What are you cooking?

Iris, are you getting STS? Are you getting many DOMS from the rotation and pushups?
