Commit to get fit and lean for March 6

Good Morning!:)

I am sooo sleepy! This is a bad way to start the weekend off:( We went out for dinner last night and then headed to the b-day party where we stayed until almost 12! It was 12:30 before I got to sleep and although I slept good, it wasn't nearly enough sleep!:confused: I had the alarm set for 5:10 so I could do a small run and then my leg workout but I knew I couldn't make it through the day on 4 hours of sleep! So I reset it for 5:45 and can't do my leg workout:( Im just doing cardio! I would have put it off until tonight but I have to go back to work tonight at 10:40 for a flight. Which means....I will be late getting to bed again tonight:eek: Ugh! Sooooo hoping to get Disc #3 done sometime this weekend! To bad I couldn't take it to work and do it:rolleyes:

Morning girls!

I found the race i want to run in...its close by,and it on may 3rd,enough time for me to train for it..and more importantly,its for a good cause. This run serves to educate the community about Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Children and how Automated External Defibrillators(AED) can keep our children saft at play.

Its dedicated to Seven year old Nader Parman,he lost his life when a baseball hit him in the chest between heartbeats,triggering a rare condition,Commotio Cordis,that leads to Cardiac Arrest. If a AED had been available,his life could have been saved:(

Lori-Im not sure i could function on any thing less than 6hrs of sleep:confused: Im sure you will get your weight work in soon,meanwhile im sure it will drive you nuts;) thats what workouts do....they drive us nuts until we do them:confused:

Today is a run circuit using C&W...love that one:D BBL
 
Morning Ladies!
Wanted to pop in and see how everyone is. Don't usually have time in the morning. Am going to attempt to squeeze Disc 9 in this evening. I didn't need much time to move equipment around in Disc 8, but since I wasn't sure with this one, I'm putting it off to the evening. Hopefully, time will allow.
Lori, did you finish your 1rms? It took a while but was worth it.
Belinda, is today cardio or weights for you?
Amelia, my husband always wants his birthday meal at home! Says he prefers my cooking, but sometimes I think he's just doesn't want to go out after work. How was the celebration?
Deb, where do you live with those temperatures?
Trish, how are you feeling? Miss you.
TrishK, how are things with you.

Hey Girls!:)

I am sooo lazy and probably even hungier then I am lazy:confused: LOL I did a 50 mins run and which was 5.40 miles. Thats all I had time for. My goal was to be on the TM by 6:15 and I wasn't until 6:25! Ugh...I can never manage to pull myself away from the computer when I am drinking my coffee that early in the morning:confused::)

Ameila** How far is the race? How exciting! You will probably be hooked after this! I think I am going to do a full marathon this fall, in Niagra Falls ontario. I thought it would be a nice weekend away for DH and I, right around anniversary time. We will see...gotta check out the price as well!

Cookie** I never did do my 1RM:(:) It would have taken me forever to start the program. So far I have been picking heavy enough weights though. I know what I can lift for 15 reps and so one. But then cathe as a habit of surprising us with different counts and so on...and I have had to lower my weights. No real DOMS yet though.

Hi girls,

Still no workout! At 4 a.m I woke up with stomach aches, not sure what I eat yesterday that up set my stomach? I will try to get my workout in, in the next hour.

Good afternoon girls,

Late checking in today. I did bootcamp at the gym today. I ran errands and had a checkup at the dentist. We have a busy weekend, dinner for my MIL b-day Saturday and taking my Mom to a play in NYC for her b-day on Sunday. I need to be disciplined and get my workouts in . . . I was thinking about doing them all today LOL :eek:

Belinda - I hope your belly feels better and you get to do legs today.

Lori - A race in Niagra Falls (only place I've ever been in Canada, except flew in to Vancouver when we were out west). You'll have plenty of time to train for the race and it is soo pretty.

Amelia - That sounds like a great cause to run for (sad too).

Cookie - I live in Northern NJ. We are going to have great weather this weekend. Have fun with disc 9.


I was just thinking we push the clocks an hour ahead this weekend. Lori & Belinda do you also change the clocks or is this a stupid ?
 
Finished my workout earlier today...did a run circuit and a dog walk and burned a total of 532 cals. Ive been sweating so much lately...guess its all the water im drinking? My workout top is just drenched:eek:

Lori-Ive always wanted to go to Niagra Falls..that would be a great anniversay too!

Cookie-I hope your able to get your workout in....The celebration was great,we even sang to him:p and he blew out a candle..the kids liked it!

I did disc 6 this evening! I burned 587 cal.! My stomache feels a little better, thanks for asking, girls!

I just ordered CC 1-8 ! I can't figure out how to downleads, have to wait until DH cames back in 2 weeks!

Still no work outs to report...SIGH...BUT...I'm feeling better, so I'm hoping some time next week I'll be ready to dig in again. I am definitely scaling back on weights...my 1RMs just are not working for me...too many injuries:confused:.

Belinda - YAY!! I'm so glad you ordered CC. Sean O'Malley is so motivating. I recommend that you do #5 first...it is my favorite...but then again, I only own 4 so far:p. Glad you are feeling better, too, and got your wo in;)

Lori - Hope you get some sleep tonight...Enjoy disc 3 this weekend:D.

Amelia - great job on your wo. How is your eating going? I think I am back on track...for now:) A co-worker brought in brownies and I had one, but I factored in the calories, and I'm still on target for the day;)

Cookie - Hey there! You're all th eway up to D9?? That means next week is a rest week for you:) Enjoy! Btw, a xiphoid is a piece of cartilage at the tip of your sternum and somehow mine got inflamed (leave it to me to get an injury somewhere nobody has ever heard of...LOL). Anyhow, slowly, I'm starting to feel less discomfort and more like myself. The lump is still there but not as noticeable.

Deb - We are in for good weather this weekend...I think there's a chance of some rain on Sunday, but 60 degrees still sounds good to me;) Sounds like you have a busy weekend...What play are you taking your mom to?
