Happy Hump Day! My best to all.

I am back with personals;)
Cookie – hope you are done with your report! What workout did you do yesterday?
Amelia – how did your lunch turned out? Nice job with your workout today.
Debbie – have fun tomorrow. What wo did you end up doing yesterday?
Lori – you should offer to the playground girl to be her personal trainer, LOL! Did you get all your workouts in yesterday? I had so much energy yesterday, not sure where it came from? LOL!
Helene – I can’t remember the last time I did a Taebo tape? Hope you enjoyed your wo yesterday.
Iris – not sure which FF’s rotation you referring to? I done a few of her rotations, whatever you are doing, it’s a good one! Nice job, on D39.
Trish – come back!
I will start my wo soon! Have a good one!

Good Morning!:)

I didn't go to bed until 12'ish last night and up at 6:20....but Im not tired! I rolled over at 6:15 and I thought I had slept in! I was hoping to get outside for a run but its raining and windy....not the kind of weather I haul myself out of bed for!!!:p So it will probably be a TM run,abs and something else if I have the time.

Yesterdays workout was Amy Bentos back and shoul, 3.5 miles on the TM, 40/20 and a little bit of abs work. I have some nice DOMS going on from yesterdays workout. The weight workout seemed long...probably b/c the reps were slow ones. Anyway...I like her...since not annoying or anything.

Belinda** Good job with your workout. I had lots of energy yesterday as well. I usually have a fair bit most days but there are days when I don't really feel like doing much!!

Ameila** I think a gym membership is worth a try!! Have you been looking for a job lately. I was looking last night but there was nothing on the website that caught my eye:confused: I probably just need to suck it up where I and just focus on my studying!!

Deb** Some of the older workouts are the best ones! The newer ones are nice b/c they have new moves and new music but old fashion moves (even abs work) gets right to the point!

Helene** So having cyber friends, isn't weird? LOL Is that what you are telling me?? Even if most of them pretend to be Belinda?? haha! That was funny! The thread was so quiet when she went away at first...that was until I caught on of course!;) Am I the only smart one in the bunch?? hehe!

O.k...I should get my butt moving. If I start soon, I have enough time for a good workout!

BBL!

Lori:)

Good Morning Ladies

My workout will have to wait until after work. I see DC at 8:30, then work. I didn't do D39 yesterday....I wasn't feeling those heavy weights and vest. My legs were already sore (I think from Hiit!). I ended up doing GS Timesaver and the floorwork from L&G. I am super sore today. Lately I've noticed my legs have just been super tired, during cardio as well. I'm thinking it's almost rest week for me. I will continue and finish this, though. I've seen the most results from M3, but I'm so beat !

Belinda- I was thinking of the Leg Blast rotation, actually. Have a great workout!

Lori- Sorry you're having such crappy weather! Nice workout yesterday! So, let me get this straight...........you think it's cool we're cyber friends? or uncool? LOL I read the ditty between you and helene. And no, I won't miss Monday nights, if you're referring to DG episodes ( and I think you're headed that way), forget it. I'm over it already!:rolleyes:

Amelia- Boooooooooooo!!! I dont' even know if they won! Boooooooo.......... So how'd your lunch turn out?

Helene- Super energetic after Hiit?? Yeah me too......after I throw up. (No not really, but close!) Yes I will do yoga with you. I need to invest in a good mat. What do you recommend? Hope you had a good workout today!

Deb- There's this mall.....it's across from (I can't remember which casino!), but it extends out over the water, and on the top level there are adirondack looking chairs lined all the way down looking out over the ocean, and there's fake sand. I would be grabbing drinks and sitting there and vegging out if you didn't want to gamble!!! I loved it..................... ;) No, DG won't follow me......he'll follow the next girl. lol

Ok off to shower and the gym and to work. BBL!

Deb- Is sand fake? LOL It might be real sand for all I know! Sorry, felt the need to post that afterthought........

Morning everyone,

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. You guys are getting shortchanged because I have to post at BFFM also to keep my thread alive.

Belinda: Well, I don't know what to write to you. Lori thinks we're all the same person ;) Just kidding. Nice workouts. You are almost making me want to do Meso 1 again. But it's my least favorite. I will do it in September when I am done with the challenge.

Lori: No, having cyber friends isn't weird. ;) Having friends that do Amy Bento, 3.5miles on the treadmill, hiit 40/20 AND abs is though  Good job! And keep going on the studying. I can totally see you getting into helping others get fit. You always talk about other people wishing to get in shape and I think I can hear this little voice inside you saying you wish you could help them.

Iris: Jade Yoga is hands down the only yoga mat I will use. I have 2 mats actually, so if we do yoga together, I will bring one of my 2 for you to try out. Then you can decide if you like it. For me, I need a supper sticky mat because I get sweaty palms. (don't worry, I'll clean the mat before I let you try it out). This is the only one that does it for me. I understand about not wanting to workout hard yesterday. By the way, my "team" is kind of falling apart. LOL. There is one hasn't posted for 10 days

Amelia: How did the braves do :D? I don't follow so you're safe with me. Try to talk the gym into a membership that doesn't have the requirement that you stay with them for a year. If they are not a chain, they might have some flexibility on the contract.

Deb: what is Iris talking about with sand?! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the pyramid workout and got all your work done.

Cookie: How 'em reports treating ya? Hope you are doing well. Remember that we shook hands on staying away from the cookies. :)

Trish: I hope you are at least lurking: Hi! :)

OK, I want your feedback. I am all over the place and have some real resistance to setting the appropriate calorie level. As you know, I am doing BFFM. But my weight hasn't budged for 10 days  (though I did loose a lot the first week). I am determined and in good spririts, but I do want to see progress. I think I am not eating enough but I am so scared to up the calories. I don't feel hungry and I do seem to have enough for my workouts. Since Lori and Iris are working on the personal trainer thing, maybe they will know.

This is what I am doing at the moment. 4-5 days weight training. 6 days cardio (but I try to keep it to 50 minutes or less). Again, I don't feel tired or anything. But I am working very hard. My goal is nothing less than total body transformation. I want to burn that fat and get muscle definition. Weights are mostly meso 2 with some meso 3.

sample: Monday: Chest & Hiit, Tuesday: shoulders & triceps and run or steady state at the gym, Wednesday: M2 legs, Thursday: Back and steady state at gym (run or elliptical), Friday: biceps and CCC or Insanity, Saturday: Some nice intense 1 hour cardio such as RS, Sunday: Plyo legs with additional leg work. I take rest days only if I feel I need one.

I am hesitant to put this on the main forum because people are just going to tell me I am overdoing it. I don't think I am because I feel fine. But feel free to tell me otherwise, I can take it from you girls :)

I currently eat 1400 on low calorie days and 1750 on refeed days. One thing to remember, I really do sit on my bum the rest of the day for 9 hours at work! I mean sit, then sit, and then sit some more...... :( This is why I am so hesitant to up the calories. I upped them last week and was freaked out about eating more by that many so I went back down. I think that was my mistake.

The scale isn't budging but the clothes are looser so I am heading in the right direction, but I do think I am holding on to the fat.

Oh, and yesterday I was pooped from the lack of sleep with the long work day before (less than 5 hours sleep). And I didn't get a chance to go to the gym at lunch because I needed to do stuff at the bank and they sent me to a different one so I lost too much time. I hadn't had a rest day since I started BFFM so I took one. And I feel fine.

OK, long post over. Back to work

Hi girls,

This is going to be a quicky;) DH wants to be out the door in 30 mins. before we pick up our Mother's:) and head to Atlantic City. So, I'll have to get some walking in today even though Iris's suggestion is very tempting too:)

Belinda - We all think your up early posting in the morning but for all we know you could be waking up a noon;)

Lori - How long are you expecting the testing to take?

Iris - I'll let you know if the sand is real:) Just wished they didn't allow smoking:(

Helene - By now you know I'm going to AC:) Are you wearing your bodybugg? That may be able to help you with actual calories burned.

Hi to Amelia, Cookie & Trish

Have a great day:)

Morning

Im exhausted this morning. We didn't get home from the baseball game until 1:30am, there was a 2 hour rain delay:( We left in the bottom of the 7th inning (there were losing anyways and i was 'done' with it all)

I had my meals all planned out but by the time 11:30 came around i was really hungry. Im usually asleep by that time. DH got a cheeseburger meal and all four of us had some, i had about three bites of a cheeseburger then a small hand full of fries and felt better. Before that i had about 1450 calories wise so im estimating my calories after words around 1700-1900 so im still happy with my self. We also spent a lot of time walking around so i know i got rid of some of those extra calories.

I plan on getting in a nice power walk later on the treadmill today and thats it..im too tired. I'm suppose to go pick up my brother today so he can swim with the kids, sigh, just don't feel like going anywhere:confused:

Lunch was really good yesterday, the rice pilaf turned out great and @ 200 calories i may make it again(didn't count the calories in the tomato's,lol)

Helene-I say stick with what your doing and you will get what i like to call a 'whoosh' in the scale;) Love those whooshes....

I will bbl with some personals guys..kids are wanting something to eat.

Deb: Yeah, you would think I would have done it before. I am wearing my GWF and will get new calories estimates from that. Have tons of fun at AC and we want a report (Cookie style :p) on the fake sand. I hope you have fun and can stay away from the smoke.

Amelia: Sorry about the game. Nice control though. ^5s to you. now I have scale 'whoosh' envy. Allright, I will keep at it and see what everyone else says. From all I was reading, I should be OK at 1500. Maybe 1600. Aaargh, here I go again making myself confused at what I should do. The only good thing is that my body probably has no idea how many calories I will ingest today. LOL.

Hey Girls!

Today's workout was amy bento's bics, abs and 5 miles on the TM. Nothing new to report...boring 'ole work!

Belinda** Yes...I should whip that girl into shape;) She was trying to tell me that she never had "time" to lose weight...yet she doesn't work and lives at home with her parents. Now! I had time to lose weight and I had a baby, a DH, a DD and a house to manage....excuses, excuses!

Ameila** I think you did o.k even with those bites of food. Are you tired today?

Iris** Im saying that its super duper cool that we are cyber friends! I mean...I am truly over the moon about it!!!:p:D hehe! I don't think its weird, but others might, especially since I spend more time talking to you guys then I do my real friends. Helene needs you help btw:D

Deb** I don't think some of the test will take very long when I am interested in it! I think after this test, the next course will fly by b/c its about nutrtion and I will be totally involved in that!

Helene** I know what you mean about sitting on your butt at work. The scale as a tendency to go up a wee bit for me when I work. I think its a combo of sitting and then being bored...so then I get up to get something to eat. I am looking forward to a more active job. 1450 might be a bit low though. I don't know much about that yet b/c I am still stuck on anatomy! Blah!

I may bbl!
Lori:)

Good Evening Ladies.....

What a long day today! I trained DC, then I was about to leave before I came went to my other job, and this lady walked in to inquire about a membership, and I also signed her up for a package. :D Yay! My first "real" client. But of course, I was late to work....but who cares! lol

When I finally got home from work, I squeaked out MMA Kickbox. Im just now getting out of the shower and just had dinner *kind of*.

Lori and Helene- Specifics on nutrition is not in the official scope of practice of personal training. However, General nutrition is. But you guys know that stuff! Helene, are you doing all your workouts at once?? If you're doing them at different times, what do your macros look like for your pre and post workout meals ? And you know I'm gonna say to take a rest day. It might be just a little overkill. A rest day is kind of like a re-feeding day, it reminds the body that's it's still alive!! And also....maybe go back to the 3 day split to switch it up? Maybe 4 days of cardio? I know I would try that if I plateaued...........but just putting the idea out there! I have a feeling I didn't help you!

Ok I'm so beat, I will finish personals in the morning!! Goodnight!!!

Good evening ladies,

Iris - that’s so cool having a personal trainer on our thread. Yeah, on the first client! BTW, nice job on the workout today. The leg blast rotation is awesome.

Helene - i couldn’t survive on 1450 cal. I also believe that is way too low! If you don’t eat enough cal your body will hold on to every oz of fat. Once I upped my cal the weight came off. If you cloth fits you different, don’t worry about the scale. My scale doesn’t always show me the # I want to see, that’s ok, I am losing inches and cloth sizes. EAT MORE! Change your routine up! How do you like the bodybugg? I was thinking about getting one, didn’t like the idea off the monthly fee that goes along. BTW, you need to take a rest day! It’s very important for your body to recover and rebuilt.

Lori – I am so happy to have you all as my cyber friends too. I also talk to you guys more than I do to my real friends, funny! I have a friend here in Germany; she is in her 40’s. She injured her leg a few months ago, she told me yesterday she gained a entire dress size! She uses her injury as an excuse not to work out; although she needs to start walking on her feet again otherwise she will have problems later on. There she is telling me how much weight she gained, but yet she doesn’t want to exercise! I told her a few months ago; she can do UB workouts with DB or tubing! Now almost 4 months later she is gaining all that weight, she very overweight to begin with! Today I sent her from sparkspeople (posted on youtube) a full body workout with the tubing. She doesn’t even have to get up! LOL! I am gonna call her an see if she even done it. I also told her to start going to the gym and ride the bike, which is gentle on her legs. Let’s wait and see! How do you like Amy Bento wo? Nice job today with your workouts!

Amelia – there is nothing wrong giving into your cravings. Good job, with your workout today.

Debbie – I usually post between 8 – 9 AM, not to early. I drink my coffee and read what you girls are up too. LOL! Have fun in Atlantic City. When are you coming back?

Hallo Cookie and Trish!

Good night, girls;) See you all bright and early!
