Hi girls,

I am done with my workout! This weeks weight increase was a big jump from last week, I had to pause a few times I am sure on some exercises my form didn’t look so great! Those 21's do they ever get easier? I think I went heavier than my 1RM; DH needs to weigh my BB's. I am still confused on the actual weight on those things!
I am sitting here, sipping on my protein shake. After I shower up, I will take the dogs for a walk.

I also did the extended stretch, it felt great to stretch those tired muscles! The rotation calls for abs work today, but I worked them yesterday. I will do the abs tomorrow; I don’t feel like doing them back to back!

I am still going strong with my eating, I am watching my crabs. That seems to help!

Off to get cleaned up! I will be back later!

Belinda, those 21s! Don't they feel like 210 when when you're doing them? How are you liking sts? Other than pushups, I really liked it. Guess that means I need to them. How's the weather over there?
Lori, great job on the race. Are you possibly taking a rest day?

Iris, today's your least fav day at work, right? Hope it isn't too bad for you.
Deb, are you recovering from the wedding celebration? If the wedding was at the cathedral, I can't imagine what and where the reception was at. It must have been quite fancy.

Got in All Systems Go this morning, and had a nice sweaty session. Hoping to get in PH this evening. My right calf is sore. Don't know what I did to it, but it has been for a week now. Hope it recovers in time for rt.

Belinda-Great job on your workout...what kind of protein shake do you drink? I use to buy those dessert protein shakes,i forget the name...

Cookie-high fives on your workout! about the rotation and the extra cardio, i think i will just add in some kb or step, yesterday i did a powerwalk at an incline and my HR stayed pretty high!

Today the rotation calls for a 60min cardio..not sure what im doing? I will bbl to report it.

I forgot to mention last week about the outcome of my job situation. I spoke to the front office manager on wednesday morning about everything that had been bothering me. ( cutting my saturdays back to two a month:mad:, my friend quitting because of all the crap that is going on:(, then they wanted to offer me more hours during the week:confused:) I asked her why they cut my hours back then all of a sudden wanted me there three days during the week. She couldn't give me a straight forward answer?

To make a long story short i told her I wasn't happy there anymore and i appreciated the opportunity but life is too short to be unhappy! so, i gave her my 2 week notice! Next saturday is my last day there! And im thrilled about it;)

Last year, when i took the saturday job i had another interview with a pediatrician's office...they wanted me to work full-time/frontoffice and i couldn't with my little one. so,when the kids go back to school in a couple of weeks,i will send out my resume and cross my fingers;) With college kids starting back to school in the fall, i should get atleast one interview!
 
Workout done...Decided on 4DS power cardio premix and WOW im pooped:eek: it was all of kickbox then all of bootcamp totaling 57mins. Burned 579 cals:D

Hey Ladies,

Hope you're all doing well!! I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (yet!), but it feels that way. It's been at least week since my last post and I've been eating unclean ever since! WOs have been hanging in though. I did D12 on Saturday and am planning to enjoy my rest week. Not sure what I'll be doing but I need to focus on my knees and shoulder a bit so, I'll fit that in with cardio, abs and pilates (rest weeks are too short!!).

Belinda - Great job on increasing your weights;) I'm barely doing my 1RMs on many excercises:confused:

Cookie - So sweet of you to email me...you actually got my butt in gear. I know I needed to post...I've missed you guys:) What is All Systems Go?? I know you must be getting psyched for RT. Have a great time and take lots of pics of course.

Amelia - You quit your job!! You've got guts. I've never quit a job without having another one. That is a dream of mine to tell someone to take this job and shove it...LOL! I actually like my job (most days) but still would love to walk away from it one day. Great job on your wo. How has your eating been? I can't seem to keep mine under control:(

Lori - I hope all is well with you and the family. How has your j-o-b been lately?

Iris - Did you finish up that rotation you were doing (name escapes me right now)?

Deb - What's new with you? I borrowed a zumba DVD from a co-worker over the weekend. It was different than I expected, but a nice change. How do you like the classes at the gym?

Amelia, you go girl! I only wish I could be as strong as you are. I'm using you as a role model now for work, other times I've used you for health and fitness. I wasn't veery happy with my position this past year. OK, actually, the past few years. It wasn't the job, the supervisor of the department and another person, who is my boss, do not get along, and I was often monkey in the middle. I've been given a different assignment for this summer, and I think it will stay changed come September. If not, I need to speak up like you do. BTW, I bought another pilates dvd today, and that also made me think of you. I'll let you know how it is or maybe even send it your way.
Trish, glad you posted. Missed you and was concerned. How are your knee and shoulder doing? All Systems Go is by Mindy Mylrea and is a strength/cardio drencher. It uses a body bar, and I only have a 9# one, but boy does my heart rate get up there. Not sure why but lately I'm trying to use more of my exercise toys. Tomorrow I might do a bosu wo, just to dust that off.
Belinda, have fun with the dog walk? I try to watch my carbs, but that doesn't seem to stop me from putting them in my mouth.

Iris, where are you? Hope all is well.
Well, I've got a few phone calls to make, an evaluation to do, and I want to squeeze in PH, so that's what will get done.
