Today I will go to the gym, haven't run in so long! It's to hot outside:rolleyes:

Yesterday was quit around here, you girls must enjoy the outdoors:p

CCV5 is done:p I had to slow my speed down; my HR went up to high. I the humidity is very high today:rolleyes:

Lori, geesh what is it with the people you work with? And please stop mentioning that four-word white stuff. 88 mins - how well did you sleep after that.
Deb, how long did you exercise for yesterday? Did you get all those wo in? Just curious why do you have such busy upcoming work weekends?
Trish, welcome back and I missed you! Come on open up that Terminator - you can do it. Such a feeling of accomplishment when you're done.
Got home last night from the two conferences, and am now getting ready for a two-day workshop. Can't find the materials I used in the past for this one - I actually think my DH discarded it when cleaning out the basement! So, I have to pull it together now instead of working out. Of course that means I should get off the computer instead of dawdling. I hear my mother's voice as I typed that!

Good Morning Ladies:)

How is everyone? I thought I was going to have to come into work at 5:30 again today but I pond it off on my coworker. I don't get to do that very often!:) I was sooo sleepy last night when I went to bed. I didn't move until DS woke me up at 4:30....trying to get me OUT of bed! I finally convinced him to get in bed with us and he did...and he went back to sleep. When I left the house , DH and DS were cuddled up together...how sweet!

I didn't get out for a run last night either:( I wanted to but my sister and BIL came over for a drink so I took a night off, with intentions of going for a long run tonight. My SIL added some new songs to my Ipod so I am excited about listening to some new tunes! I thought about calling my friend who is running next weekends race with me but I think I would rather go it alone!

Belinda** Its hard to run when it is humid out! The air feels so thick! Good job with it though! I love evening runs b/c they are so cool!

Ameila** What workout is on the agenda today? Did you sign up for anymore races this summer?

Cookie** DH always blames me for throwing things out! LOL And half of the time i don't. I do remember throwing out a ratty pair of Air Jordons one time and of course, he went looking for them. I claimed that I didn't throw them out...even though I knew I did:eek:

Deb** Kids grow up to fast don't they? Although it is also nice for them to grow up b/c they are to stressful when they are younger! I have to watch DD like a hawk b/c she is capable of ANYTHING!

Trish** Im up a couple of pounds as well so don't fret to much. I think its normal for this time of year. I don't know about you but I have waaaaay to many social gatherings to attend! I wanted to lay low this weekend and whatya know...we get an invite for a 40th b-day party this weekend. Im only having a couple of drinks though.

Thats it from moi! I had most of this typed earlier but my boss came around the corner and I didn't have time to copy it, or even post it and come back later to finish it!:mad:

Morning girls

Todays workout is 4ds chest/shoulders/triceps then i will do that pilates cardio burn...i may even jump on the treadmill for ten minutes after that so i can get a good solid 30min cardio.

Eating still going good:) im proud of myself!

Belinda-so,where you the gazelle or the lion today in CCV5;)...im usually the lion:p WTG girl!

Cookie-I hope the 2-day workshop goes by quickly for you! Hows the wedding coming along? did you guys find any bridesmaids dresses yet? My running is going good...i try and do a couple CC'es a week to keep it up. I really need to start doing some steady stats agian.:rolleyes:

Lori-Enjoy your new tunes tonight during your run! No races on the agenda so far...there is one in september that ive got my eye on. Will see!

Workout done, instead of the pilates cardio i jumped on the treadmill for some intervals. In total i burned 497 in 67mins.

tomorrow is legs and the pilates cardio/abbs(haven't done abbs all week:confused:)

Afternoon girls,

Today has been a busy one at work. I'm just getting a chance to post! This morning's wo was CCV5. I got about 7 hours of sleep so I was rested enough to really work hard. I burned 525 cals in 51 mins and went for 7.3 mi. This was the very first CC wo I ever did and I travel 2 miles further than when I started:eek: This is such a great program! Tonight DH and I are going to do ab work.

Belinda - We did the same wo!! How high do you let your HR get on this? Even though we were supposed to stay orange zone, I couldn't resist going red in the second challenge. By challenge three I was up to 97% but it felt fine so I didn't worry.

Cookie - Hey lady! Hhhhmmm, maybe I'll watch Terminator this weekend. I feel like it would make my knees explode if I ever attempted it...LOL! We'll see. Good luck with your workshop! When do you think you can get back to what's really important...working out:p?

Lori- Well, the scale said I'm down 1.4 pounds from yesterday..I hope my scale isn't busted! I probably won't check again until Sunday. My eating is better now that I'm back to the ol' routine so that should help. Yup, I'm having the same issue as you...I attended my BFF's twin's 1 YO party last night and, of course, I had to try a slice of cake from EACH cake (there were two, one for each twin) and then I have a bookclub meeting on Sunday which will have more goodies...HELP!! Well, enjoy your run tonight and rocking out to your new tunes;)

Amelia - Which pilates cardio do you do? Crunch? I have that one and it is fun. ^5s on 4DS and your treadmill intervals and for staying on the eating bandwagon;)

Gotta get ready to head home!
