DH want to go to the gym today, not sure what I wil do? I also have to get D16 in before Monday.

Lori nice job with your run as always. Nice job on your DOMS, PH is a good one!

Iris how is your stomach today?

Cookie I try to stay away from refined carbs, for the same reason you and Amelia mentioned.

Debbie glad you enjoyed KB workout. Sorry, about the car. (((HUGS)) for son and you!

I fell asleep last night with DS from 9:30- 12!:eek: Nearly died when I woke up and looked at the time. I didn't go back to bed until 1:30 and I set my alarm for 6:30. It was broken sleep but I still had 7.5 hours combined....and I don't feel tired at all. I think its still snowing out there....I am assuming Belinda sent this my way;) I wouldn't consider it stormy though. I have seen storms, living right next to the water growing up and this is no storm. I stopped in somewhere yesterday evening on the way home and the place was closed! I couldn't beleive it!

Anyway....I need to do abs and cardio today. Hopefully a good abs workout, I have the time so why not. I will probably do LIC abs that I missed yesterday and I may do another dvd as well.

Belinda** Its a good thing I have good eyes! LOL :D Those are some small words! haha! So you are still tackling STS. I think if I had had your bad luck I may have sold my set;) Everytime you have tried to do that rotation something happens.

Ameila** Good job with the workout yesterday!

Iris** You probably made a wise choice taking another rest day. It takes a while for the body to come around. So whats in this baked oatmeal? Any raisins or cinnamon? I haven't had oatmeal in a long time. I usually have all bran in the mornings. I was wondering, am I just being moody or is everyone getting on my nerves for a reason! LOL

Deb** Sorry to hear you had a rough day yesterday. I was hoping the car was just a 2nd hand cheap one....like 5 g's or something. DH and I were looking at cars the other day and he said " look there is a perfect van for you and its only $5000" I said " ah...no. Im not driving a van" Not to mention he is totally losing his mind. We both have new vehciles and we were going to get rid of one and just get a 2nd hand one, now he is talking about getting two 2nd hand ones? And which one is suppose to be the realiable one we can travel with? Not happening, don't care! I love my jeep but we have been looking around. In the meantime, we haven't looked in a while. I think we will be trading his truck in first.

Trish** Double workouts and lack of sleep will contribute. Double workouts are tough though and I wouldn't do them everyday. I "kinda" do double workouts I guess, the days when I do weights and cardio. But for some reason it doesn't really seem like double b/c I do it all at once.

Wow...time is creeping by. I have about 20 mins before I need to start my workout!

I'm gonna give it a go with D7 today....and see what happens. I was hoping to squeeze in MMA Fusion later tonight to make up for yesterday. We'll see how I feel after work. Saturday's are my most aggravating work day. :confused:

Lori- did you get snow from this storm in the Northeast? Wait..where in Canada are you again? And I think it's a combination of being moody and everyone's aggravating to you. LOL I don't doubt for a second that it's one thing after another for you, but the moodiness factors in when you start to consider beating people up. :eek::p

Trish- Yeah the Steel Cut Oats seem to deplete first for me, too. I need to keep up on buying them. (which reminds me). And yeah I thougth I was the only one getting sick yearly! I've had food poisoning once, and I dont' think this was it. Unfortunately with that it was both ends.:( That hasnt happened since.

So this oatmeal *just going off the top of my head** has 2 cups Old-fashioned Oats, 2 Cups Low Fat/Skim/Whatever you normally use Milk, 1 grated Unpeeled Macintosh Apple *firm* (what a pain in my a$$ that was, because I've never used a grater), 1/2 cup dried cranberries (I used mixed), 1/2 cup slivered almonds, 1/2 tsp. Vanilla, 4 tbsp. Maple Syrup. Mix All Together, Put in 3qt. Baking Pan or Casserole Dish, Bake @ 400 for 45 Min. (mine took 35 so keep your eye to it and dont' burn down your house like me). Now It says she uses raisins and something else in the Summer....It's one of those recipes you can work with and modify to your tastes. :) I LOVE IT. It's a keeper!

Today will be cardio + legs + power yoga. Lets hope i can get it all in without strangling the kids;)

Im down 4lbs of water weight this morning...3more to go until im back to my pre-disaster week weight.

Hey Girls....

finally at work at its 10:30:eek: I bet I could have slept in until 7'ish and still been here at the same time. I did 4dskb abs, LIC abs and 6.5 miles on the TM in 53 mins.


Im not sure how much snow we have. Alot fell over night b/c our driveway and steps were done last night and there is alot there again now.

Belinda** Good job with the workout!

Iris** I will definitly make that oatmeal! Sounds yummy and it just calls for house hold ingredients, don't have to run out and get any weird crap!:rolleyes: How many servings is in the dish? Have fun with your workout!

Ameila** I didn't know you were on disaster week control;) But 4 lbs is 4 lbs and Id be happy about that to! Hope your workout is interuptions free. You don't have to tell me what it feels like. When I got to 6.23 miles I seen 2 eyes peeking in at me so I made it to 6.5 and called it a day. He is always so pleasant in the a.m. I could squish his little cheeks!

workout done as planned. Did bm2 step combos plus 4ds legs then some power yoga..it was a good workout. I was looking forward to that yoga afterwords..felt good. 1:35mins and burned 560.

Iris-Any chance that you have the nutrition information on that oatmeal bake? It sounds yummy! Speaking of yummy,just had some salsa burritos for lunch...man,love those things. I found some ww tortillas that don't taste like cardboard.:eek: Made by harvest fresh or something like that...

Lori-Nice run, i was surprised to get through my whole workout without any interruptions. The kids were quiet...they were playing cops and robbers,lol. It was so cute to witness.

Hi girls,

So the snow is further south so we only have 1 inch, so happy. I'm going to do yoga today:) and save MMA Fusion for tomorrow since I won't be eating to good because of Superbowl Sunday.

I was watching Oprah yesterday and she had Pink on and she asked her how she stays in such great shape. Pink said she is in best shape when she tours and hanging from the ropes really work. She also said she uses P90X (she needs to mute Tony) but stopped because it was bulking her up and went on to say she now runs for 7 min. and does yoga. So the 7 mins. seems weird maybe she means she runs a 7 min. mile:confused:

Belinda - How come you didn't go to the gym with DH?

Lori - We actually 1st bought my son a car with very high mileage and it was always in the repair shop and cost so much money to upkeep. So we decided a few months ago to get him a better car:rolleyes: I hope the snow stops for you.

Amelia - Salsa burritos sounds interesting. You were able to get that water weight off quickly.

Iris - I'm going to have to try the oatmeal and I have all ingredients too:) Will you get a big crowd tomorrow at work for Superbowl?

Trish - OK so no snow afterall but maybe you'll be able to fit a nap in today.

Quick post to report my workout .... for once. I did disc 16 and Hiit 40/20 today. I think next time I won't do a Hiit right after a weight workout. :confused: Why it seemed like a good idea at the time is beyond me!

Busy day, BBL for personals which I missed. Let's just say work was not of the fun type this week. But now I am good and back. Time to settle into my routine again.

So I'm back now. DS wasn't feeling good today. Spiked a very little fever. Not quite sure what was going on with that.

Belinda: So how are you doing now? I saw that you worked out hard and wore the monitor for a couple of days and that everything looked good. Does that mean virtigo is the only thing remaining? I hope it's not too hard to manage. How is your DH feeling about the whole thing now? Sorry you weren't with your DS for his 21st. I wasn't with my parents for my Bdays starting at 13 :confused:

Amelia: Great workout today! I hear you on the general funk and eating madness. It seems I was on the same wavelength. I'm better now. TTOM started and the issues at worked are resolved so to speak. But it's so hard. I used to do a LOT of yoga and don't do as much now. I should start again because it is a wonderful thing (wish I could quick my job and become a yoga teacher :D). But it just wouldn't pay the bills the same way. I like that Rodney DVD you just got by the way. It's a good one I think. Oh and my nephew's name is Yves. I don't know if there is an equivalent in english.

Deb: I think the only thing I can do is send you more (((HUGS))). This whole thing for your DS is horrible. I agree. It seems like the lesson is really hard this time. He is lucky to have good parents like you to support him through all this though. It will likely bring you closer. Great job on your workouts. I want to go and get a couple of 1lb hand weights/gloves for the kickboxing.

Lori: Great workouts as usual. It sounds like you are as busy as ever. Not much of a change with the new owner I guess (70 years old huh?). So you have snow and Deb has snow but we got nothing here. I kind of wish we did. I would like to get the kids to do a bit more sledding this winter. Maybe Belinda could have shared a little more LOL. So who is visithing this weekend? ;)

Iris: Glad you are feeling better. So you made some yummy oatmeal it sounds like. I am really lazy about cooking lately. I used to really enjoy it, but lately I'm letting DH do the cooking. He does fine. Though maybe not as healthy as I would like. How is your mom doing lately? I hope you get to enjoy time with her. I though of you on Friday, I went to PF Changs. :eek:

Cookie: I also have the best intension to stay away from carbs. But I do like them and they seem to be always there :confused: So I haven't been so good lately. Sigh. But I am giving myself a break because there is a lot going on and I am working out hard. But the pounds aren't coming off lately. Like my MIL says, for some of us, it's a lifelong battle.

Trish: It sounds like you are doing good with the workouts. Are you not too tired with the double workouts? I am kind of doing that, but my second workouts are higher intensity rather than long at the moment.

I'm itching to to another CC now that I have the taste for them over vaca. Maybe I will do one tomorrow. Not sure yet what I will do.

But I will be boycotting the weigh-in tomorrow that's for sure!

I think I'm all caught. Hope I didn't miss anything. :eek:

Been at a conferenceand not getting home until after 11 on Thursday, 9:30 last night, and 6 tonight. I'm beat.
Belinda, glad to read things are looking good.
Lori, love the two little eyes peaking in at you! It's been quite grey here lately. Has it been similar weather for you? Could that be part of it?
Iris, glad you included extra hints in your recipe! I like that oatmeal recipe also.
Deb, are you going to a super bowl party or having one? Did you get your yoga in?
Trish, what were you up to this weekend? Did you also get snow?
Helene, sorry you had a rough week at work. How's your son feeling now? My dd had a fever the other day, and she seldom ever is sick.

Did kb double wave pyramid yesterday and 19 this morning. I can't believe how fast time is flying. That it is already February! I'm still having to remember to use 2010 instead of 2009 - I better catch up!
