Good Morning Everyone!

I set my alarm for 5:30 today but ended up reseting it for 7:10 and I crawled back into bed:confused::rolleyes::) I was just to tired to workout! We went to a party next door last night and although I was in bed by 12'ish, everything is starting to catch up to me. I knew that it would, this as been a busy weekend with 2 parties and working day shifts. I have to say, I didn't feel any better when I got up at 7:10 then I did when I woke earlier. I still needed more!:eek: LOL

I took a rest day on Fri so I am thinking about running tonight. I will have to see how I feel and what is on the go with dinner. If my MIL makes a big meal it may be hard for me to workout.

I was debating wrapping some gifts today at work but I don't know where to store them. I feel like hauling DD"s stuff out to see what I have for her but once I get it wrapped she will know where it is and then start shaking stuff. It won't take long for her to realize that its all clothes:)

Anyway...have a good day everyone! Eating as been in check all weekend. I have a cracked tooth in the back so I have been watching what I eat. The last thing I need is to lose that tooth between now and my appointment!

Just enjoying coffee...my little chiauhau at my feet happy to see me...wagging all over the place,he so cute.

I never did make it to that workout yesterday,just was to lazy to take another shower after getting home from work. so since today is just a powerwalk i will do the jari love ripped and the powerwalk together. I previewed ripped last night and was pleasently surprised to see that she doesn't use weights on the lunges:D:D:D I HATE LUNGES!

Belinda-Have a wonderful rest day...how is your DH recovering?

Lori-to answer you from yesterday....i only work saturdays now,thats the only hours they can give me after hiring another girl(who just happened to be the supervisors friend...:rolleyes:,she can work full-time and i only got hired for saturdays anyway so there isn't much i can do?) But i love my job...had fun yesterday! Have fun with your run tonight! LOL at your DD shaking all her presents...my DH does that. What are you getting your DH? Ive got a wii game in mind and some cologne,not sure what else?

Cookie-I agree about the scale...its just so hard for me to not weigh in everyday,specially after a good eating day. Its so nice to see it go down a lb,but not good to see it go up. I use to only weigh in once a week...im not sure how to do that now? Hows your day going?

Hey Ameila, I just ordered one of DH's presents. He wants a PS3 but if it doesn't go down in price, I doubt he is gonna get it. The other day I noticed that Sears reduced the price of their leather recliners, so I ordered one of those for him. That was over $500 but I feel like I should get something to go with it. His list is endless! He is just like a child and keeps adding on to things he wants. I have also been trying to find some good musci dvds but not having much luck.

Belinda, hope you enjoy the rest day. It is not only well needed, but well deserved. How are you doing with your Christmas preparations?

Lori, I was wondering how your arms were after working bis and tris before running. Glad we're doing the rotation together. My kids always shake their gifts and seem to know what they're getting on every occasion. We like to mix up the packaging to confuse them.

Amelia, I was wondering how the work situation was going for you. Glad you're enjoying it. Hope you enjoy Ripped and the powerwalk today. Get ripped!

Today is supposed to be a rest day. Surprise, surprise I'm actually thinking of doing a pilates-styled or yoga(!) workout. I think I could use the stretching after all the heavy weights this week. Who knows, with repeated efforts I may even learn to enjoy yoga.
Hoping to get some online shopping done for the holidays, a lot of office work, a little housework, and grocery shopping done. I'm drowning in paperwork related to work, and I'm going to have to sort it out to even start doing anything. I swear paper reproduces when I'm not keeping a constant eye on it.

Oh, at yesterday's stress management workshop the presenter gave specific ways individuals should reduce stress in their lives. The major one is exercise - not a surprise to us, is it? Another one was a focus on healthy eating of food close to the natural food source - another no surprise. He emphasized the rule of 80/20. Eighty percent of the time consciously eat healthy and twenty may then be from a wider source. It was almost like listening to some of what we read on these forums!

Lori** hope you enjoyed your rest day yesterday! Sorry, about your DD’s breakup! Oh, yes she will realize it one day, LOL! We all did, right? Poor thing! My legs are still sore! Glad to hear you sister + baby are doing well! Great run yesterday! Sounds like you need some sleep, Lori! Take it easy, ok! Have fun shopping for DH gift, lol!

Cookie** how are you liking the rotation so far? I love it! Nice mix of workouts! I am so glad you , Lori and Trish are there with me! It’s so much fun doing it together! No I didn’t bring any ravioli to the party! I made them and put them in the freezer, for next week! My DD will enjoy them! Let me know if you want the recipe! I will give my kids money and gift cards for Christmas!

Trish, since you're doing low impact and like kickbocking, you might want to consider Kimberly Spreen's kb dvd. I think we discussed it before. It doesn't have so much jumping around in it, I like how it works the core, and she's got a very good personality.
Hope you're doing okay. Where are you on the rotation?

Hey girls...i just got ripped:p...very nice workout! I may do this once a week,Jari is very suportive during the workout and the speech that she gives while stretching at the end was great,she talked about the modern day women and how we have alot on our plate...so working out is time we do for ouself. it lifted my spirits a bit:eek::)

i burned a total of 430 cals for the day...im happy with that.
