Good morning girls,

My legs are so sore today! LOL! Today is KPC on the rotation, I think I will go to the gym instead! I still need to keep up with my running!

I am done with iTread #13 sprints! It wasn't my best run today, my legs are so sore! I also did SM##! Needed that!

While I was drinking my coffee this morning, I finally got to read Sunday's New York Times Travel section. There is an article about Tuscany. If you would like, I can mail it to you. Just pm me your address. It was interesting in using A Room with a View by EM Forster as a tour guide to the region. Have you read the book?

Amelia, I thought of you this morning when I got on that darn scale. Don't know why I ever do it. Perhaps the weights have caused the increase, but it doesn't show up at all in my clothes. It is only a couple of pounds but still! I should just donate my scale to Sal's.

Lori, it is hard to workout with little ones. Then with working! You're doing great juggling so many things. How is your daughter doing?

Trish, how's the knee feeling? Yesterday a secretary was talking about her hip bothering her, and we ended up with a couple of us doing stretches together. Thankfully, no one walked in during that time!

Iris, still ahead of us on the rotation?

Cheryl, how's the cold?

Oh, I did yesterday's workout last night. Didn't get to even start until just after 8 pm, but was determined to get it in. Think doing it as group is really motivating. Anyway, I expected doms this morning since I did the L&G floorwork protion twice, but nope. Today was KPC - love how it works the core.

Good Morning Ladies:D

Lets see if I can get this done before my boss gets here!

We had our work christmas party last night and it was fun. I didn't go home until 1:30 though and I didn't sleep well either...which is weird for me! Then DS woke at 6:41 which is also weird! So I got up with him and got ready for work. I plan on doing my workout tonight though. Maybe I can catch a little cat nap or something. T'is the season:eek:

One of the girls took alot of pics last night so if I can get my hands on them, I will post some new pics. I was very impressed with my arms in some of them:)

Belinda** My legs aren't to sore today. Weird! (thats the word of the day:rolleyes:) I went for a 35 mins run after I worked legs so maybe I got most of the acid out of them:confused:

Cookie** Ugh...its getting so hard to manage everything. I hate leaving my workouts for the end of the day b/c I am tired. Then I hate working out in the morning cause I am either starving all day, not getting a good enough workout in, or tired. I have had to switch my workouts a few times since he came along but I think this will be the toughest challenge. It may come down to the fact that I will have to watch my eating more closely and my workouts will have to be shorter.
DD is doing good. She had a good report last week and her teacher had all good things to say about her. She told me today that one of her friends in Grade 9 thinks that she is pregnant:( Can you imagine? Or maybe she had sex so now she thinks she could be. HOpefully she isn't! I tell ya, got keep on top of those young ones!

I will check back in later...this is probably going to be a long day!

Cookie-don't worry,my scale is up too...i also think the weights are the culprit behind it! My clothes aren't tight either....im just gonna keep going with my workouts and watching what i eat(on rest days i get 1440 cals...really gotta watch it today:confused:) the weight will come off when its ready. We can totally do this:D i forget...are you looking to lose weight?

Good Morning Girls,

Yesterday was a busy day at work and I didn't get a chance to pop in and say hi:) I modified yesterday's rotation wo and only did Deadlifts and L&G floor work--twice. Lots of burning going on but no DOMs today:confused:. Also, no cardio today so I did pilates instead. I hate missing out on some of the fun of this rotation, but the good news is that my knees are feeling much better! I should be able to start cardio and squats/lunges again on Tues so I am really looking forward to that.

Belinda - ^5s on your DOMs this morning & iTread wo:D Glad the pasta dish turned out so well.

Cookie - That's so funny...I have a colleague who likes to "work out" in the office...although she never really works out at all. It's more like she likes to talk about working out. Anyhow, she's stuck on this new gadget called Magic Legs or Leg Magic and is bent on buying it and setting it up in a conference room for us to take turns using it...LOL!

Amelia - Enjoy your rest day!

Lori - Glad you had fun at your Christmas party. Can't wait to see the pics! I am planning on taking before and after STS pics although I'm not sure if I will be sharing them yet:eek: WOW...prego in grade 9...what a scary thought! It is really scary to think about all the things that our kids can get exposed to.

Amelia, it's funny but I didn't think about that I must want to lose until you asked! Can you believe how dumb I am!!! Guess, it really is vanity, since I'm pleased with how I look. I have this number in my head from when I was younger, before kids, menopause, and Cathe and weight training. It just is perturbing that I'm in the best shape and health of my life but number on the scale is more than my head says it should be. See why I need to donate it to Sal's? The problem isn't the scale it's me.

Trish, yeah, there I was showing plow and downward dog! Oh well, it will make an amusing memory. Glad your knee is doing better, but please be careful when you start back with cardio. Do you have many low impact workouts?

Lori, glad the party was so much fun. That's upsetting about your DD's friend. Being a parent is such a huge responsibility and young people cannot understand that. Hope she's not pg. When my kids were young I logged a lot on the treadmill or stepper. It was so hard to run with them. Frustrating isn't it. I heard an expression that sums up this stage: the years go by so fast but the days so long.
 
Hi Cookie,

I have Low Max and LIC and love them both. I guess it would be smart if I started with those, huh? I'm just itching to do a good heart-pumping, high-intensity workout though. I'll see how I feel next week. Have a good night!
