Good morning,

Tonight I will do a full body workout! Have a lot to do this morning/afternoon.

Morning girls,

Up with the girls this AM getting ready to take them to dance. I won't get a chance to work out until this evening. I'm thinking about GS Legs or S&H Legs. We'll see. We're supposed to get snow tonight. Not looking forward to it:confused:.

Trish-Nice workout planned later! What kind of dance classes do your girls take? My little girl is driving me nuts to get her into gymnastics guess i'll enroll her the next time they have open enrollment.

Well, my diet is still going well. I skipped last sundays cheat meal because of thanksgiving and now im going bonkers. Tomorrow is my cheat meal and i can't wait:confused:

LOL Iris...i hope you get to feeling better. What kind of drinks did you intoxicate yourself with?LOL ( i will have a hangover come monday morning,hehehe) hopefully your day at work will go by fast...

workout done,decided on LIC timesaver then i ran out of steam after the third round in 4ds so only did three rounds...still got a good burn.

Belinda - Are the kids coming home for Christmas?

Amelia - You have so much willpower and only have 24 hours to go:)

Trish - Just came back from the post office it does feel like snow outside. I don't mind the 1st snow fall and especially if it's on the weekend.

Iris - This is the month of hangovers, the bad thing is there is so much to do:confused: Hopefully you can get a nap in:)

Lori - Have fun at your parties this weekend:)

Helene & Cookie - What are your plans for this weekend?

Well I am so behind I'll probably miss some stuff. Sorry :eek:

Belinda: Congrats on being with DH for so long. I've got 10 years coming up soon. I looked up Bramberg and it is absolutely lovely. I remember visiting a lot of lovely places in Germany. When the kids are older, I'll have to take the family there. Sorry about the gym situation too the other day, but way to go on not letting them step on your toes. That was just inconsiderate of them.

Lori: So, what are you up to? I can't remember what you're up to with all the parties you have planned. I love the ugly sweater one. I had never heard of such but it's great! I hope you have lots of fun at all the event. I need a new pair of tennis shoes as well! Too bad I'll have to just browse the net for a good pair that isn't too expensive. Are DD and DS excited about Xmas?

Deb: You are busy too I see. Unbelievable about the lady having a heart attack. Was she in good shape average or poor? Well, I hope that all of us are taking the right steps to protect our health. We certainly seem to be on the right path, and that is the best present.

Cookie: I didn't know you lived by the VT border. No wonder you have deer all over the place. They're bad enough here. I have seen in my backyard: deer, rabbits, snakes, turtles, foxes and turkeys that are so brazen they were pecking at the sliding glass window (somebody somewhere must have been giving them food for them to behave that way!). And I'm in the burbs! Sorry about your furnace. I'm worried about the hot water heater. Those things don't last. We had someone look at it and he said it looked fine. But these things can go and still do some damage.

Iris: I am so happy to read that your mom is back home. I hope she is feeling all right. It certainly is quite a year for you. No wonder you're hungover. My stress is so puny compared to yours, but I still reached for the wine first thing when I got home yesterday. I really do wish you the best for the rest of December. Can we meet in the new year?

Amelia: Well, I'll blame it on TTOM but the crankiness has been rising this week. It's a combination of that and work. Man that can get tiring some times. Eating is not so good. Likely the weigh in won't be so good tomorrow, but I have a plan (I always have a plan don't you know ;)?)

Trish: Nice to read your posts again. It is so exciting to have this vacation coming up. I have FL in a couple of weeks and the Bahamas at the end of January (we managed to trade in our timeshare for Atlantis Woohoo!). I also have to be in good enough shape that the bathing suits fit well......more work there....

Well there we go, it's snowing outside. Did nothing yesterday. :eek: Tough time of the year indeed. This Morning did 4DS HS. I am disappointed, I did the whole thing and only burned 359 calories. I really wish I could get more of a burn out of the weight work. It was good though and worked me good so I'll have to tell my little brain to let go of those numbers. But it's hard to do. I am so addicted to the little gadgets, so why not read the numbers if you use them :p? Eating has been not so good. And then DH just made a bunch of coconut cupcakes this morning with dulce de leche frosting. Are you kidding me?! I think he does it on purpose. So I am fighting back. I am going back on the low carb eating. Since I am working out less this month it should help. And it's way easier for me to say no to the cupcake if I'm on low carb than if I just watch calories, because then, I always convince myself I can have one and take from somewhere else. All right, enough rambling about all this. Tomorrow, I will have to go for a calorie burner though. I am thinking of Imax Extreme, Hardcore Hi/Lo intervals, BM2 scrambled eggs, MIC or one of the longer Insanity workouts. I'm leaning towards Hardcore Hi/Lo because I've never done it although I have done all the parts.

OK, got get ready to take DD to the pool. Have a great one everybody!

My workout wasn't any good, I had no energy. I took a nap and now I feel better:)

It did end up snowing here but it's a messy snow. My DS is shoveling our driveway to make some $$'s. I just remember what I don't like about snow: our driveway ends up being a sheet of ice a lot of the winter because the sun doesn't hit it:( and everyone wants to borrow my car because it's 4-wheel drive:rolleyes:

Helene - Looks like you covered everything:) It's funny my friend who's in her 50's but looks like she's in her 30's has stayed in great shape told me low carb is all that works for her. But she didn't get married until she was 40, has no babies so I'm thinking it's the lack of stress:)

Trish - I'm using the bodymedia (formerly gofitwear) pedometer. You wear it on your arm. When you download it to your computer it gives you a report on all your steps, how much you sleep (if you wear it to bed) how many calories you burn, and when you input what you eat it calculates the difference between what your eating and burning and graphs it.

Going out to dinner tonight with DH will try and be good;)

Evening,

Not much else to report. Went to the pool again for swim lessons for the kids. DS actually swam a bit (think of what a dog does to swim and you'll know how he was going about it). I am so proud of him. No Jacket no nothing and he did it quite a bit. He is well on the way. I think DD will not do so soon but she's not yet 3 so that's OK.

Deb: I have the Gofitwear also. It's a great gadget :D Fun for people like me who like to know all the details.....and yet I don't put them to the best use. But it's great fun. And yes, the low carb is amazing if you can truly stick to it. But it can be hard to do. I find that if I can make it past the third day it's smooth sailing for a while after that. It can be hard to work out though. I'll see how it goes. But until the new year comes around, the workouts will likely be toned down anyways.
