Good Morning and Happy Travers (yeah right)....:mad:

I had an awful couple of days at work.......and I'm pissed that because of it I missed my workout yesterday....so I had to get up super early today (was supposed to be my rest day) to at least do something before another longgg busy day...*sigh*...so I'm thinking Power Hour or Push/Pull.....

Good Morning!

I was trying to read yesterdays thread but DH is sitting here with his coffee and he keeps talking to me:p

All I did yesterday was disc 30, hoping for a long run today. But its the same thing as yesterday....I could hear the wind blowing again! Ugh! I don't know whats up with all this wind! So now my long run may be postponed until tomorrow.

I received my shipping notice for the Insanity series yesterday! Said it should be here by Sept 4th...I still haven't broken the news the DH yet. Ahh...he will find out when we receive the cc bill! hehe! UNLESS they deliver it to his work again! They probably won't b/c I think I will have to pay duty on it.

I will bbl, hopefully with personals!

Amelia, yeah! I ran and took the dogs for a walk. I love hummus and Feta chesse. I make my own hummus and I use feta in my salad, I stuff with with bell peppers, so many things you can do with it. Check out Foodtv.com;)

Good Morning Ladies,

Believe it or not, I'm just crawling out of the bed:eek:!!! This is one of the few saturdays that the girls have no activities in the AM and I am taking advantage. Next saturday the insanity starts again...Dance classes from 9:30-2:30 and then swim from 3:30-4:30. Unfortunately, the girl's dance classes are not at the same time so it gets really stretched out. So, today I'm going to enjoy every minute. We are having dinner at my bff's and her DH makes the best desserts:confused: Wish me luck on resisting. Today is Disc 22(?), chest, shoulders and triceps.

Belinda - Wow, if CCPP gives cal burns like that, I'm definitely gonna have to buy it! Great job! Have a nice walk with your pooch.

Iris - Sorry work has been awful for you this week, but ^5s on getting up to get your wo in. Hope you get a little rest today.

Lori - Your DH does that too?? Mine is always talking while I'm trying to type. Doing that right now as a matter of fact:D Think you'll take a rest day today? Hope the wind dies down for you tomorrow.

Amelia - Howdy girl! I eat both hummus (favorite is chipotle pepper) and fat free feta. I buy both from Trader Joe's. I put feta on my salads and pita pizza. The hummus I usually eat with raw veggies or as a spread on a sandwich. Other snacks I like...75% ff Cabot white or yellow sharp cheddar with multigrain crackers; multigrain crackers with Laughing Cow cheese wedge (only 35 calories per wedge!). I need new snack and meal ideas, too. I like Allrecipes.com the best. Enjoy KenpoX and the nature trail!

Iris, sorry you have such a long day today. Hope the weather at least clears up in time for the race. Did you get your wo in? Will you be able to rest tomorrow?
Lori, arent' DH annoying like that? Luckily mine just left to run a couple of errands or he'd be here talking away. The most amazing thing is he never has anything to say until I'm typing or trying to leave the house. So you got Insanity, huh? Have to let us know what you think of it.
Amelia, you must be having much more pleasant weather in GA than up here. Great way to get your wo in while spending time with the family. Terrific role model for your children.
Trish, what the heck are you going to do during those long dance lessons? You are a good mom for giving up your whole day every Sat. I'd say savor his great desserts - you're earning them. Sometimes we just have to go for it.
Deb, in NYS we can take a six-hour course to reduce points and/or insurance costs. Do you have that in NJ? Just wondering. My DH has all of us here do it every three years. How was the birthday party?

Did Awesome Intervals and pilates core. Today is catching up on paperwork which reproduces as soon as I turn my back on it, housework, cooking, and final details for the shower which is tomorrow. Oh, and dinner at a friend's. Did you see the step height for the plyos on sts? Five on each side!!! Plus the topper. Sure is exciting and intimidating at the same time.

Oh, Iris, I wasn't sure what Travers was (or whether it was a typo!), but now that Cookie confirmed that it does exist, I decided to google it. Sounds like you are going to have one busy day! Happy Travers;)

Cookie - Also googled up Awesome Intervals...looks like fun! I only hang around the dance studio with the little one so I am only there for 2 hours and then come back for the older one. At least that's the plan. This is the first time we are there for so many hours. And 7YO DD actually asked to take an additional class which would have been another hour....NO WAY! Can't give in to the desserts this time...my eating has been good for a few days and I'm feeling pretty strong. Actually walked away from bday cake in the office on Thursday;) Your day sound pretty jam-packed as well. Hope all goes well for the shower tomorrow.
 
Good afternoon girls,

I had a really good time with SIL's at dinner last night. The food was ok but the dessert to die for . . . warm sugar donuts w/raspberry dipping sauce:D I would only go back to the restaurant for the dessert:D only. It seems like the bar area is a pick-up place. Ugg, two people were sucking face at the bar almost the whole time we were eating. It put new meaning to the phrase "Get a Room" :rolleyes:.

Now, I'm ready to clean up my diet! I'm going to do STS legs squat rack using my weighted vest and see how it goes.

Belinda - It's amazing you have energy to walk the dogs after your run:)

Lori - Maybe you can tell DH you bought insanity for the both of you to use;)

Amelia - I love hummus w/crackers or veggies there are so many different flavors too! Have fun at the park with your family. KenpoX is one of my favorites.

Iris - I hope your day is better at work. Do you work at the racetrack?

Cookie - I'm going to have to look into the safety class, anything would help:) Do you have another shower tomorrow too?

Trish - Boy you had better relax today, sounds like your weekends will be busy. Your snack ideas sound delicious.

Quick check in for moi. I had to go on call today for my coworker and of course I got called in. I thought it was going to be a quick in and out...not the case!:mad: But thats usually the way it works for me.

I wanted to go for my long run but postponed that until tomorrow. So I did CC#7...yesterday was kinda my rest day cause it was only weights;)

Ameila** How did you like youga? Did you do it allll? Amazing if you did! I snack on cookies...so Im not much help! LOL I love apples and pb though.

Cookie** Sounds like you have a full day planned! Have fun with all of your chores;) hehe!

Deb** Oh...that dessert sounded yummy! I didn't realize you were at a restaurant at first and was gonna ask for the recipe. I love going to out for the warm bread...and am ALWAYS rotted when I don't get ANY!

Trish** Enjoy your non hectic day and dinner tonight!

Cookie - I am watching YogaFit Pure Power...Oh My! Looks FABULOUS!! 19YO DD said she will do it with me tomorrow...we'll see how long we last on that one. The teasers look really tough on this one.

Well, dinner was delish and...so, was dessert :eek:(strawberry shortcake and peach cobbler). I did pretty good on dinner, but went over board on dessert. Just couldn't resist. Oh well, hopefully my 2.6 lbs lost this week will still be lost by next week's weigh in:confused:. Have cardio on tap in the AM. Not sure what I'll do though. Was actually thinking about doing an iClimb just to shake things up. We'll see.
