Good Morning girls:)

Today is either a rest day or i may squeeze in a powerwalk.

Man,i don't want to be up so early:+ I wanna go back to bed;-). I think i will WI on saturday,i know I said once a month but the curiosity is killing me. Especially if im good all week,which i plan on being!

I ate 1950 calories yesterday and dang did it feel like i was just eating all day. I sure wasn't hungry. I have to run to the grocery store today to get some protein bars because im out of my bsn protein powderx( and won't be able to order none until friday(tight budget this month). Think I'll grab a couple of thos eas myoplex ones,they look huge!}(

Belinda-Congrats to your daughter:) Have you adjusted to the time change yet?

Cookie-im curious about your name,is that a nick name or somthing? The 'punka' in my username is my little girls nickname.

Amelia** Here you were thinking about leaving us and now your starting the thread;) Silly girl! Hope your diet works out for you! 2000 cals of food is alot of food so no wonder you feel like eating all the time. I would crack up if I only weighed once a month! Im weighing again on Wed or Thursday morning.

Belinda** You must be so proud of DD! She is soooo beautiful btw! She must have boys falling all over her!!!

Cheryl** So you have a new toy? And an expensive one:eek: :) But thats what you get for working hard right? I cancelled the series but my sister is comming home in July so Im gonna tell her to bring her workouts with her. She won't be using them anytime soon.The next time I spend close to $400 on myself its gonna be in clothes! I am desperate for some new tops! And the VS catolouges keep comming in the mail!

Cookie** I love the Terminator dvd! Well worth the money!

Sara** I didn't take offense to what you said, I was just a little confused b/c you didn't say what happened to her.Beleive it or not, I stay away from the curves! I usually run on the side of the road. I know it may be a pain for drivers but if I am on the side walk and DS is napping, Im going over bump after bump, so I just run on the side. There is really only one busy street though. Did you get what you were looking for yesterday?

Kristine** How are you? Is Heidi chatting away now? DS doesn't say a whole lot, but I think boys are a little different then girls. He keeps saying "whats dat". LOL

Yesterday was a fairly busy day. I ran my 10 miles, showered, ran out and did a few things, then it was dinner time and I forgot we had tickets to see George Jones last night.
Todays workout is gonna be another run b/c the weather is beautiful. Im not sure how far we will go, depending on how much energy I have. Back to work tonight!;(

Wow....sure is quiet around here today:eek:

Im back from my run. I did about 7 miles today, I guess. I wasn't about to do 10 miles again today. When I thought about it, I realized how stupid that was! LOL So I cut it a little shorter. Great news is DS was awake the whole way through it! :) Which means he will have a afternoon nap in his crib and I can do WHATEVER I want~! I can have a nap as well, or do weights, or tidy my house! Oh...its gonna be so nice to have a couple of hours to myself, Im not use to that b/c whenever he sleeps, I workout.

Belinda** Have fun with your workout today!! Glad to hear you got some good shut eye. I had 3 good nights sleep this past weekend and feel soooo much better. But now its back to work again, and thats where the broken sleep occurs!

I am done with my LB workot! I am getting better on the BF! Still NO DOMS! What is going on? I don't get it! I really miss my free weights!

Belinda, Well, I’m glad to hear someone got a good night’s sleep, and happy it was you. Just wish I could report the same. Thank goodness my hub is going to the doctor’s on Thursday re his snoring, b/c I could have strangled him around 1:00 this morning! Oh, it was bad! Then I got up and moved to the couch, but in the intervening time woke up. So there I was reading for two hours before falling back to sleep. What really bugs me though is that I feel back to sleep and didn’t wake up again in time to work out. I had Drill Max, the weights, Bosu, and DVD all set to go. Oh well, now it is set for tomorrow, but he better not wake me up tonight! You must be very proud of your daughter – that’s quite the accomplishment. Guess she takes after her mom.
Amelia, Cookie is my nickname. I like to bake and usually make a few batches of cookies every weekend. When I was a kid, back in the day of dinosaurs, ,there was a tv show with a character named Cricket. Well, my friends and I thought it was so cool to have such a nickname, and I became Cookie. Of course, some people believe the C should be a K! I was born in 1957, so that’s where the 57 comes from. I don’t think I could go a month without weighing in. I don’t have a regular day that I do check, but try to do it about once a week. I put on a couple of pounds over the last few months, and the only thing I can account for its cause is lifting heavier weights. The clothes still fit the same, but I don’t like the larger numbers.
Lori, 7 miles is amazing. Are you training for a half marathon or a race?
Cheryl, nice new toy! I’m planning on order two extra risers, a high step topper, and the slanted ones, but need to wait a few more weeks. A squat rack is also on my wish list, though. Of course, I also wouldn’t mind a weighted vest, and will also need some platemates. Sound like a kid a Christmas.
