Happy 4th of July, everyone!


Today is cardio day for me! We have a 4th of July cerebration on post and town down something going on too, they have something set up? Looks like party everywhere, lol. We also gonna have a barbecue with friends.

Lori, hope DS had fun with his play date yesterday! Hope you had fun with your leg workout yesterday.

Iris, awesome job with GS back/biceps and shoulders yesterday. Glad your knee is ok!

Amelia, looks like Lori, you and I think alike, lol! How was your leg workout?

Debbie, I heard a lot of good things Kickbox surge, the clip on CV didn’t impress me at all! Gad you enjoyed PS yesterday, that one I still have to check out! Hope you enjoyed your movie and dinner.

Cookie, I did L&G last night, it was getting to hot in my workout room. The humidity is so high, even son said its hotter here than in El Paso. Enjoy watching Edith Wharton's Mount today.

Trish, where are you? Hope you ok!

I decided to take today as my rest day. I'll do cardio tomorrow when I dont' have to work.

Good Morning Ladies

I tried to check in earlier but you know how that goes...not very well in this house

I just got back from a super long run. Im guessing I did between 18-20 k but I have to go mark it. I usually run in town but today I ran on the high way and there are a few hills out there.

I did read yesterdays thread when I woke up but now I forgot what I read! LOL If I get a chance later I will re-read!

Iris** Your working today? Im on call and have to go in for a flight. The girl I am working for also expects me to go on call tonight b/c she as her grandmothers 90th b-day party....that was fine untill I found out she was leaving her grandmothers party to go to her friends party Not cool!

Im debating on taking today off or doing 4ds bic's/back w/pilate's workout and taking tomorrow off( or maybe a cardio today and doing those workouts tomorrow?). My eating hasn't been good so i don't feel comfortable taking any rest days besides..i feel fine.

Belinda-have a great day, sounds like you will be busy! My legs workout was great...no doms yet though

Happy 4th everyone!!

I'm going to my in-laws today. My FIL heated the pool so maybe I'll go in today My DH's Aunts, Uncles and cousins will come over FIL's house which is a tradition on the 4th. They cater so eating will be bad Will try and do STS 21 Back & bi's before I leave.

Belinda - Sounds like a nice celebration you're having. Wow the humidity is hotter in Germany. Have fun with cardio today.

Iris - Sorry you have to work. My son has to work too. It seems like the holiday doesn't mean much to some bosses

Lori - That was a great run you got in today Not too nice what co-worker did.

Happy Fourth!
So far only a few drops of rain today! That's reason enough to celebrate.
Belinda, is the town having a celebration 'cause of the post being located within it? Have fun at the bbq.
Lori, that's a lot of distance. Great job! Hang in there with working.
Amelia, did take today as a rest day? Love your fireworks - thanks. Bet your eating will get back on track after this weekend.
Iris, hope work wasn't too bad today. We go to Lenny Goldstock with NE Orthopedics. All of my kids, my mother and myself go to him.
Deb, your IL's bbq sounds like a lot of fun. It must be so much easier when it is catered. I only have the Squeeze Stronger dvd - what do you think of the other ones?
The Mount was lovely - the house and gardens. Really beautiful. Now I want to go back and read and reread more of her books. We also went to Daniel Chester French's house - he was the sculptor of many famous pieces including Lincoln - the one in the DC Memorial. Very interesting also.
Did KCM CardioKickboxing this morning, and am now off to a bbq.
