Coincidence?

Last night I did PS Legs - standing portion. It was the very first time I've done it where my lower back didn't hurt while doing squats and deadlifts. Not even a little bit. I even increased my weight on the bar!

I'm wondering if it could be because I bought some heel cups for my sneakers. I bought them after looking into strategies for preventing achilles tendon injuries and I've only started wearing them this week.

Does anyone have a clue if it could be related?
 
I think it has to do with your new heel cups. The better your shoes fit and offer support the better your back will be in alignment.

I had to get insoles made at the podiatrist and it made a world of difference with my plantar fascitis and my back.
