Okay, cmoroney, YOU are my hero! Holy, TEN kids AND you still have time to work out, that is just amazing! Here I sit debating whether to have a third because my girls are 7&5 already and will I have time for another, blah,blah,blah... how sad.
And I just bet you look great in a bikini. Wow, thanks for your post!

I agree!

I was thinking the same thing when I read her posts - amazing!! I would love to hear some tips on how to find time to exercise consistently with so many kids! I'm pregnant with my fourth (I have an 11 year old and 7 year old twins) and have been worried about how the new baby will affect my workouts.

RE: I agree!

Oh my. I just read your posts and I'm also IMPRESSED. Please share your pregnancy workouts and any nutrition pointers you may have. I just found out I'm PG and want to avoid my usual 50 lb gain. UGH!!!! I need a role model/hero and that would definitely be YOU!!!!! Throw me a bone, would ya? Robin

bridge - yes, you can have time to exercise no matter how many children you have. I get up early every morning to get some of Cathe's step videos in and/or some strength training in before my children even get up in the morning. I also have a treadmill and I try to do a little on there whenever I get even fifteen minutes. When you have children, you have to make exercise a priority. I do have some advantages to having so many children. For I do have some big helpers, now. I have been home schooling my children for ten years now, so they are home to help me - but I do spend lots of time teaching and correcting papers. This has been also rewading for me. Also, if I can't fit my workout in in the morning my husband helps by watching the kids in the evening, while I get a workout in. He enjoys the added benefits in my exercising.

RE: I agree!

JamminX3 - right now I have my 11 month old trying to grab everything by the computer. Anyway, I usually gain about 40 pounds when I am pregnant, also. I don't panic it while I am pregnant, since I am on the thinner side when I conceive - I feel it is in the best interest of the baby to gain that 40 pounds. But I do exercise the whole nine months of the pregnancy. That keeps my back and abdominals strong to help me to not get back aches. I was 45 years old when I delivered my last baby and can say I did quite well, with no backaches, etc. I do start exercising as soon as posssible after and within five months of having the baby I am back down to where I was before baby. I love being pregnant. I do receive many compliments when people see me with some of my children and they always are stunned to realize that I have had ten children. They normally do not believe me. They think that they have been adopted! The common response is, *You had them by yourself with no help?" And of course I reply, "Yes of course I had some help - my husband." Good luck with your pregnancy - enjoy feeling life, that is the best of all.
