CLX Fat Burning Food Guide - fat content?

Hi to those of you who bought CLX and have looked at the food guide. I am wondering, doesn't this food plan seem a bit high in fat?

I put together a Burn breakfast, lunch, and dinner, randomly, and the fat content (% of calories from) was around 40%. I'm just nervous about eating that much fat, even though it is fairly low carb.

So anyway, have you tried this way of eating before while also counting calories and lost weight? I may just reduce the fat a bit and add a bit more whole carbs, but wanted to see what you had to say.

Thanks!

I looked through the food guide, but wasn't paying that much attention to the fat content, just checking to see if there are any recipes I could eat, or easily modify (there are only about 4, so I'll end up getting rid of this).

IMO, 40% is too high fat, especially if it's added fat from oils (natural fats from raw nuts and avocados, for example, are better). But it is in line with some low-carb diets (which I don't ascribe to).

Not as bad as the "Clean Eating" recipe book that has some recipes with 1000 gm. of sodium per serving. Now THAT'S bad !
