Hi, Cathe and educated crowd!
I tried close-grip chest presses this weekend and thought I felt a different (welcome) kind of work in the tris.
Question:
I did these with two dumbbells rather than a barbell, and did them with the palms facing each other rather than turned out. Is it best, or indeed the only way, to do these with a barbell? Further, with a barbell can you do them palms facing out OR palms facing you?
Also, if you do dumbbell French Presses, will you feel more of a workload if you keep the arm angled back, rather than a start/return position of arms directly over the shoulders?
Sorry if this is gibberish - had galloping insomnia last p.m. and am not sure what planet I'm on right now.
Thanks for your input!
Annette
