I am so sorry that I left you all hanging yesterday! I was up early, but got carried away cyber-shopping and then suddenly realized I was late! I tried to check in from work, but couldn't log on (not quickly, anyway).
PT was really good yesterday - he scheduled me an appointment for next week, but says that if I am still improving that he may not need to see me again for awhile. And as many of you saw on my FB page, he and several others said in the office watched me doing planks and said they were some of the best they've ever seen! My PT also tells me that I have the best hamstring flexibility of anyone he sees.
I have had 5 totally clean days in a row, and I feel good. I haven't touched the scale in at least that long, and I really don't want to. I am motivated for a 100% squeaky weekend also.
Something weird is going on with my body and I canNOT figure it out - I am simply holding on to extra weight. I don't know if it is due to #1 all the running or #2 a change in my strength training or 3# a combination of both or #4 none of the above. I just feel like I am doing everything right - burning lots of calories thru cardio, strength training, stretching and core work, eating clean, etc. and I am still looking very fluffy. I think I am going to switch back to GS/Meso 2 style lifting for a few weeks and see what happens. I am probably going to be very sore for awhile, but I need to just suck it up and do it.
ANOTHER FUN FACT that I just learned - there are THREE THOUSAND people registered for the OBX half marathan. Can you imagine? 3000 people??? I would like to finish in the top half...
Okay, better get on with it... 2.5 mile run and my last meso one workout (for awhile, anyway). Then we've got swimming class, grocery shopping, etc. etc.
