I had a busy morning this morning and then I just crashed. DH made me get up early so we could get stuff done.

Katie, glad you got your wedding license.
Kate, sorry about the awful lunch. How can your in-laws ignore the dirty restaurant? Glad you had a nice evening last night
Robin, I ordered all of Tracey's workouts. They all sounded great and I got good results from her last series.

Colleen - WOW! Super meals!! You're on a cashew kick right noe, aren't you?

I just got done with a 2+hour nap! I'm really groggy but I'm sure once I get some dinner I'll be doing better. DH had to leave for some work issues so he owes me some time to take a walk after dinner!

We just had the BEST cheeseburgers!!!
I did cheat and use ground chuck, but ground sirloin just doesn't make a good, juicy burger!

1 lb. ground chuck
1 tsp. Worcestire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Break up meat in bowl. Sprinkle seasonings on. Mix it up w/ a large fork to blend. Divide into 4 equal clumps and toss back and forth in your hands until it makes a ball.(A lot of burgers are tough/dry because of over-mixing.) Smoosh into a patty (about 4" wide) and then press in the middle to make a small divot.

Preheat grill on high w/ top down.
Grease grate w/ paper towel just before you put the burgers on. (I hold the p.towel in my long "flippers").
I turn the heat down *just slightly*.
Put the burgers on and CLOSE THE GRILL for 2.5 minutes.
Open the lid, flip the burgers, and cook for another 2.5 minutes.
Remove from grill and serve.

I have PERFECTED the cheeseburger! This recipe is completely fool proof. After his steak and these burgers tonight DH sadly announced that he is dethroned from grilling and I AM QUEEN OF THE GRILL!

Headed off for a 3-mile walk to burn off that ground chuck!!
 
Good for you, Kate!! I love walking, that used to be my main form of cardio (when Collin was a newborn and I could pop him in the stroller and he would go right to sleep).

The steak was AWESOME! I agree that most people over-mix their burgers and they end up tough and dry.

My stomach is upset AGAIN -- what gives??

Sorry about your stomach. Think about going to a chiropractor. A lot of times a stomach can be upset because of your low back being out. And considering the workouts we do and the stress we put on our bodies this might be a solution for you. Good luck!
