I'm not sure how it happened, but I have gotten really lazy about my eating and my workouts lately. Taking an extra day off here and there is no big deal, where it used to stress me out and I almost never did it. I definitely admit that my life is crazy right now, but I think that keeping certain things consistent -- like eating and workouts -- would help that.

Even thought I didn't want to, I DID get my workout in yesterday evening. Workout today will be Butts and Guts, tomorrow will be a fun cardio, then Friday will be upper body -- either PUB again or MM. Saturday will be my "active rest" day with moving, then Sunday I will start a new rotation with heavy lifting -- 3 weeks of Gym Styles and 3 weeks of Slow & Heavy. I MUST get serious now -- the wedding is 6 1/2 weeks away!!

Menu today:

b cereal w/strawberries
s larabar
l pasta w/chicken and veggies
s multi-grain chips and salsa
d salsa chicken??
 
WOW! I thought this thread would be long by now! Everybody sleepin' in?

Katie, I didin't want to WO last night either but I pulled it out too. I hope the rest of the week goes well fo ryou. Do the best you can with eating, do WO's when you can. You have an awfully full week and you're about to start a pretty serious rotation. Take it east the next few days if you need to. Good lookin' menu for today.

DDs are playing - I'm hoping to do CS after I finish typing. Hoping for a semi-laid-back kind of day. We'll see...

l - you know what? I just realized I have no idea on the whole rest of my day! Maybe I need to go to the grocery store! LOL!

My w/o this morning was Butt and Guts premix 1(standing and core). The next time I do this w/o I'm going to use wrist weight with the ab section.

Katie, I agree with Robin; you have alot going on. When things settle down, your routine will get back to normal. Great job for working out. I didn't want to teach class last night but I felt so much better after.

Kate, It sounds like your appt. went well. A strong core helps with all the pushing you'll be doing. ;)

Robin, Sorry about the KD; you and your children are in my prayers. ^5 for the weight loss.

Steph, Are you still losing weight or has it stabilized?

Jenn, I can't remember if you ordered Tracey's workouts. I did and wish she would post some clips. I bought Hi/Lo Knockout and love it!

Colleen, How's work going?

My workout this morning was legs and shoulders & Hi/Lo Knockout Premix #2.

My eating has been clean/tidy for the most part and the scale is going down. I'm happy about that. :)

Shirl, good workout! congrats on the weight loss. My weight is the lowest it has ever been, and i'm not trying! I think my body has figured something out!

Katie, i agree with everyone, its hard to focus with so much going on. I bring my own food everywhere i go, so i have no excuses. Its a choice, that's what i keep telling myself anyway!

Kate, hope you get CS in, i think i'm going to do some tonight myself

Robin, KD! i wish it was the cheesier kind, sorry its going on. Great menu though :)

I just finished Classical Stretch and I feel all nice and loosey-goosey. Haven't done it since early preg and I missed it. I think I'm going to rework my rotation so I'm doing a total body weights 1-2x/week, Bar 2x/week, lots of stretching and some cardio. I have the Perfect Preg. WO which I previewed last night finally- looks great. I think I'll put it on for Saturday. Boy, does it feel good to WO regularly again.

Robin & Shirl, Glad the scale is going in the right direction!

Robin, I love/hate B&G. I find doing the whole thing is too much LB at once for me. I get sooooo sore when I do it all. I like the premixes better.

Shirl, Nothing like teaching to force your WO's in huh?
Question for ya: I know being preg I'm not supposed to lie on my back after the 1st trim, which is quickly ending for me. But is it really that hramful to lay for say, 2minutes to do a chest press or certain leg stretch? As many times as a preg woman sleeps on her back in the night I wouldn't think 1 quick exercise would be that harmful to be on your back. Thanks...
 
Steph, You WO for 2 hours everyday and are the healthiest eater I know - you have no choice but to lose weight! Have a great day!

Yeah, it definitely gives you no choice but to exercise. In regards to your question, I would do a chest press on an incline and I recommend doing another form of the stretch. It's important to follow the guidelines; it gives you a sense of peace. HTH :)

This makes sence to me.

I'm not sure about laying on your back for a min. or two. What does your midwfie say about it?

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! DDs and I just made apple bread and its in the oven and smells wonderful. Can't wait to eat it! BUT! I was noticing that I had a lot of expired food stuff so... I'm a cool mom and letting them make a potion. They are having a BLAST. It is so nasty. Not sure what came over me to let them do this. They want to save it for Mike. Which means its going to sit for another few hours. Gross!:D
 
LOL :D let them have their fun....hey why not put their "stew" in a pot and trick your husband into thinking that is what you are having for dinner.

Very funny Robin!!! It would be so funny to have that in a pot and then have Outback all warmed up in the oven ready for him to eat!!

I just had a great hour nap now I'm eating a slice of our apple bread and it is deeelish! It's gonna be hard to keep portion-controlled on this one! Give me my carbs!!:9
 
Hey ladies, everyone seems to be having a great day!!

Thanks for all the encouragement! I know there is a lot going on and I need to be easy on myself but it is easier said than done.

I have one of these killer headaches again, ugghhh. I need to lay on the couch for a few and relax. I had a VERY stressful morning at work and the rest of the day just sort of fell apart from there.

GOOD NEWS -- my new furniture came in!! So in addition to all of the other moving madness going on, I need to go over Friday night and clean the carpets in the living room to prepare for the new furniture to arrive on Saturday. YAY!

Katie, Good news on the furniture. NOt like you needed one more thing to do this week though, huh? Just think - in 7 weeks you'll be an old married lady, laying on the beach in your white bikini w/ your new hubby....and this will all be a MEMORY!!!!
