Happy Hump Day ladies!! How is everyone's week going? How is the eating going? Anyone looking forward to the weekend yet? Did everyone pre-order their new workouts?
 
I am surprised that I am still the first one here this morning!! I was SO TIRED last night, so I decided to sleep in and not work out in the am.

I can't wait til the weekend -- wedding dress shopping! I am gonna find "THE DRESS" I can just feel it!!

I waited until early September to pre-order the new series, so mine has not shipped yet obviously. I think Cathe said somewhere that ALL pre-orders should be shipped by Friday though. Once you all get your new DVDs, are you going to start doing them right away, or wait for the November rotation?

Here's what today should look like~

B cereal
S half sandwich
L grilled chicken, banana
S cheese and crackers
D Fiesta Bowl (brown rice, grilled onions and peppers, and blackened chicken)

w/o will be a 40 minute power walk today on my lunch hour, then B&G abs tonight after work.
 
Good Morning!

Sorry I haven't been able to post regularly the past few days. My life has been a little on the busy side. My eating has not been clean or tidy - UGHHHHH! I sabotage myself constantly and I justify it because I exercise. HELP! I am stopping this cycle today! I am doing a recovery week; TLT,TLP and yoga this week or until my new workouts arrive. I'll preview them and go from there as far as a rotation goes.

Katie, Shopping for a wedding dress is so FUN. You'll know when you find the ONE. Your menu for the day looks good.

I have to go back and check yesterday's posts to catch up with everyone.

I'm doing Better Burn Better Buns from Tracie Long today. Is anyone familiar with or have any of her workouts?

b- oatmeal
s- yogurt w/fruit
l- turkey breast on ezekiel & salad
s- nat.pb & carrots
d- turkey breast, brown rice and broccoli. I have a turkey breast in the oven right now. YUM

Have fun dress shopping! I;m going to start the DVDs right away so I'm used to them when the rotation comes around.

I'm feeling great today. Feeling like the last few days of good eating is taking effect.

Hi Again,

Menu change - I had a Ginger Snap Larabar for breakfast. It was delicious! I think someone asked if there are chocolate Larabars; there are a few different types of chocolate bars. But I have never tried them.

Robin, I ordered my dvd's by mail too. BBBB is a good functional fitness w/o. It is challenging but in a very different way than Cathe's workouts. They're easy to follow, yet there is a bit of a learning curve to them. The more you do them the better you become at the exercises, the more you get out if it. They're not killer w/o's, but they're effective. That's why I like to use them as my recovery week workouts.

I reall liked T.Long when she was w/ the Firm. I've never done any of her own series. I see Susan Harris is on TL's series. Would love to hear your feedback.
I bet your turkey smells great. They're on sale at our groc. store this week..I think I'll get one to make on Sunday.

Robin Good meal plan - Wish I liked tuna!

I dropped DD off at my mom's and ate 6 peanut mms. Then I left real quick so I wouldn't eat any more!

Busy day today as well, my last day at work for over a week!! My medical director is in a mood too :(

Katie, enjoy wedding dress shopping, keep sending up pics!!

Kate, only 6!! good for you girl, way to portion control! You burned those off just chewing, so dont even worry :)

Shirl, we all sabotage, since my injury, i have had to watch what i eat, its hard hard hard!!! Working out allows for freedoms for sure. I'm an emotional eater, we can support each other on this :)

Robin, very nice menu. I've never done HSC, do you like it?

I leave Friday, i'm hoping our friend in England has a computer so i can keep in touch, i'll miss you all if i dont!
I'm running to a meeting, i will be back to post workout and menu!!

Steph - I can't even imagine ONE DAY of not working! Lucky girl! I'd imagine you're super busy to prep for it though.

HSC is SO MUCH FUN. I was very sore in my calves and shoulders last time I did it.

I'm doing so great today! NOt at all according to plan but oh well. Still no grocery store...hopefully tomorrow afternoon. Dinner should be interesting. I think baked potatoes w/ grilled chicken and salsa. DH will want bacon & cheese, of course!

Workout still not likely...oh well, I'll be all rested for my new workouts tomorrow!!

Hi Everyone!

I did my first new workout today - High Intensity Step & Chest & Back. I can't believe that Cathe still manages to put challenging choreography in her workouts. I was really tired this morning so I had a tougher time figuring out the routines than if I wasn't tired. The weights were really tough and there were a lot of push ups. I don't know how Cathe can do 65 lbs with the rows. I had trouble with 45 lbs. My plan is to the new workouts this week and then wait until the Nov. rotation.

Shirl - never did Tracy Long but it sounds interesting

Today went pretty much as planned. Since I didn't work out early this morning, I wasn't hungry, so I didn't eat my cereal for breakfast. Instead I had my half sandwich and same apple slices. My work got crazy this afternoon, so I didn't eat snack until late, so then I wasn't hungry at dinner time. I went for a bowl of cereal instead of my fiesta bowl.

I feel asleep on the couch about 7 pm -- with my toddler running crazy through the living room -- not sure how I managed that one! I really didn't want to do the Abs from B&G but I did it because I said I would!

My 4-day split should come tomorrow, so I will probably do those Friday and Saturday. Can't wait!!
