note to self - weekly trip to the zoo:p

kluad, i agree with patti - you work hard! and you changed thigns up.

angie, that wo sounds fun. yes your girls are beautiful, and i love the empahsis on inner beauty!
i think you asked when we move - movers come in 27th, 28th, 29th, and i fly out with the kids on the 30th
patti, lol at boys and their feet.

run done and imax 3 blasts only. i had sooo much energy. errand max with aidan, hope to do wights later. mostly i am praying for more patience - not my strong suit!

Nina: Why don't I remember to do the blasts only premixes from IMAX 2 and 3? I always forget. Glad you had tons of energy. Thanks for asking about the knee- seems OK. I have been very mindful of it during my wos and make sure I bend my knees when I land on jumps and stuff like that. Hopefully it is getting better for good. :)

Angie: Thanks for the Gauntlet info- I will have to try it soon. I like circuits from time to time.

Robin: We miss you- hope you are enjoying work, though.

Colleen: LOL about date night. :)

I had the best lunch- microwaved a sweet potato. Put 1 cup of cottage cheese in the blender with loads of cinnamon and a bit of honey (er, and a little splenda ). I blended until smooth and poured it over the chopped up sweet potato. It was like a cinnamon roll dessert or something. It was a little carb heavy but every now and again, that's OK. Plus it is better than eating cookies or other junk- really killed my sweet tooth.

oh patti, i know what i will eat tomorrow!! and adan will love it too - sweet potatos and cottage cheese are his faves!

avoided major cravings:cool::cool: by doing chest and tris with aidan. he thought i was so funny. oh i cannot tell you what i could have done to a loaf of bread and jar of pb:eek: but i did not.

katie, how is your day going?

Wow, I am so far behind I don't know if I'll ever catch up. Here it goes:

Nina, good job on avoiding the craving! Your work outs slay me.

Patti, that lunch does sound good. I didn't used to like sweet potatoes, but I think I've changed my mind. I need to try them again.

Angie, it sounds like you had fun at Disney yesterday. Yummy dinner, too!

Klaudia, it's probably been at least 15 years since I weighed that little. Oh, well, I like to eat, what can I say?

Colleen, did you get through your training module today? What are your plans for date night?

Kate, are you having fun? Did the rain hold off?

Lisa, I had Thai again today and thought of you! Pa-Nang, one of my favorites. Also, try this:

Spicy (or Mild) Peanut Sauce

2007, Robin Miller, All rights reserved

Yield
makes 1 cup; 4 servings

Ingredients

* 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
* 3 tablespoons creamy (or crunchy) peanut butter
* 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
* 1 teaspoon hot chili oil, or more to taste (leave this out for mild sauce)
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

In a small saucepan, whisk together the broth, peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili oil. Set the pan over medium heat, bring to a simmer, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the cilantro. Let cool to room temperature, then store in a plastic container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in the freezer up to 3 months.

Bake a 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast marinated in sesame dressing. Shred.

Saute chopped onion, garlic, red pepper, and carrot. Add shredded chicken. Warm through.

Soften 1/2 pound rice noodles.

Combine noodles, chicken, vegetables, and peanut sauce. Garnish with crushed peanuts, scallions, cilantro and fresh lime juice. Yummy!

Katie, did you get to the tea place? I hope you're feeling better this afternoon.

Robin, how's work? Are you going to be able to adjust? I hope you're enjoying it.

Hi Kath and Amanda!

Good luck Anne!

Nina, way to resist the bread and pb!

Patti, I had 1/2 sweet potato for lunch too with cinnamon sugar:) along with deli turkey, string cheese, and grapes!

Got ME upper and abs done-only skipping a few of the curls:) Leftovers for dinner and maybe some ice cream-feel like indulging.

Hi Robin!

Quick post while Pomai is napping. I dropped half my salad on the floor today for lunch. I'm such the doofus. Anyway, had enough for a meal. Did 4DS bi's and tri's last night. Planning on some B&G for tonight. Work has been a little stressful. Trying my best not to stress eat and binge on tons of crap.

Lisa

Hey

Now I remember what it is like to talk with adults:). Had a very nice time at work. I've notice that the department where I will be working seems short in staff. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

BTW I hate cooking dinner after work. but the kids did clean the kitchen and living room :D

see ya tomorrow
