Any new recipes? That forum I joined clean eating yahoo...It's hard to figure things out. Maybe I'll try again today.

Good Morning everyone!
I think that I have survived the worst flu I have ever had!
Yesterday was finally a clean and tidy day and I did Kimberely Spreen's Kickbox. I liked it ok, I just like Cathe better.
SPJ for today, though I may have to take it slow.
B-yogurt smoothie
L-Italian wedding soup leftovers
s-some fresh peaches and blueberries from the farmer's market
D-Chicken over quinoa (if you want the recipe let me know, it was in this month's LHJ, except I changed the rice for quinoa)

Mikkia I saw the magic bullet on sale and I was thinking about buying it. So what are some good receipes for yogurt smoothie?

Robin: I was thinking of replacing my ancient blender. I was thinking of getting an oster blender and the blend-n-go beehive cup.I've read on the open forum how much people like it.

Today's W/O was: BM2 upper body and B&G standing leg work

L:Tuna,spinach,sprouts on a flatbread

D:?whole wheat spag. sauce and turkey meatball

My older son is in a play tonight,so dinner maybe rushed.He is so nervous.

Workout tonight, DM cardio and BG standing and Abs

so far:
B: oatmeal, hemp pro, almond milk (usual)
s: pear
L: veggie soup, carrots, hummus and an apple.
D: likely salad, egg whites, strawberries, something like that!

Hey! We're leaving for vacation in a few minutes and DH is running around like a crazy man so I'm taking a few minutes ti have some quiet time w/ you all..........there. I'm feeling much better.

b - eggs, apple, watermelon

The rest of the day is up on the air because we'll be driving but I'll keep it clean still.

Ah, a blender. I have a KitchenAid Pro and I *guess* it works okay. Any blender I've EVER used always seems to grind up the bottom stuff w/o mixing in the top stuff.

Everybody's meals and workouts sound so good. When we get back I really really want to start a Pyramid rotation.

The truck is backing out of the driveway - See you all Sunday night!

robin- my standard smoothie recipe is 1/2 c of yogurt, 2 tbs of flax seed ground, 1/2 c ice and 1 c. fruit. You can add soy milk or use juice, etc, but it depends on the fruit you use to the consistency. I love my magic bullet!
Kate-I would love to do a pyramid rotation, if you do one let me know.
StephD-what brand of almond milk do you use? I use blue diamond- though sometimes it has an after taste!

Good morning ladies,

I'm late checking in this morning because we went for a walk and then I did some work with my daughter (I'm home-schooling Montessori style) and then I had to mop the floor.

Yesterday was a good, clean eating day. Today has potential to be bad. My mom is coming into town this afternoon and we're doing lunch out (not sure where) and dinner at my favorite Mexican place so it's a good thing I worked out this morning. Did muscle endurance. Good stuff!

Have to say I was really tempted to have full fat dressing on my salad last night but since I had written here that I would have fat free, I stuck with that and I'm glad I did!

Hello ladies,

Mikkia, i think its the unsweetened Blue almond milk brand, i'll check when i go home. I love the stuff, i dont drink milk though.
and i love your cooking lady picture!!

Angie, full fat dressing, depending on what fat source, isnt a bad choice!! i add 2 tablespoons of hemp oil to my salads, may reduce carb cravings, and helps burn fat!! Unless its drenched in it, enjoy :)
