Good morning ladies!! Back to reality today - off to work in a few minutes:rolleyes: but at least I am off tomorrow (Veteran's Day). No workout yesterday and none so far today. I feel ready but I am just so discombobulated since getting home that I don't know where a clean sports bra is. Maybe I will do a double tomorrow since I am off work.

Started my AM off w/ another FANTASTIC CS wo! I'm loving doing this everyday! Feels so good!

Eats were mostly clean yday - the only exception was a cpl bites of IC as I was dishing it up for the fam.

Isabel came in my bed early this morning and she sounds so much better so I'm sure she'll be back to school today. Thanks for all the well-wished for her!

Colleeen I really need to try that Jari Love weight workout. I just don't like her cardio.

Kate, I have said forever that I'm going to buy some CS dvds and I've never done it. I have done some of the workouts on TV and LOVE them !!! Maybe one of these days I will get around to getting some...............

Today I am thinking of doing weights with Amy B......either from slo-mo or APX.

hi becky. i have done weight work from apx. i think i really liked her lb weight stuff. upper was so so.

well, i am glad i held out and did swim last ngiht. there was another girl in finn's class, and he had a WONDERFUL time. i enjoyed talking to the mom, and dh stayed home with aidan. it was nice to get out with just 1 for a change. so, all in all, i rode out the anixety, did not use anything to cope, and feel so much more normal today!:D i got in a fabulous long run this am. ub on tap later. i taped ph off the tv and was watching it yday. it only has chest back and bis and lb, but i think i will do it today and then add my own tri and shoulder. great news is the scale is coming down!!! another clean day today, for sure.

klaudia, i am with you - in a quandary as to what to do weight wise

kate, so sorry abt your knee. best thing is MUST rest it... i think i really prolonged things by continuing to test what i could do (and it wasnt helpful anyway because it hurt and i couldnt put my all into the wo's). it is soooooo much better now after sticking to alomst no impact for a long while. try to stick to your elliptical for cardio!! i know its probably cold for you to walk outdoors and i dont think the tm is as low impact as some ppl think. i find the vibrations make my knees feel funny! recumbent bike and rower have been good for me. glad isabel is better!

becky, what a great weekend you had! are you somewhere with yr-round warm weather?

lisa, i didnt buy anything with my coupon either, the only thing i was interested in was RS+ and i really cant do that right now anyway... or ab circuits... just couldnt justify the $$. its okay that we dont buy =)

nina, totally understand abt having another person to consult with... when dh first gets home even dinner prep feels complicated sometimes! darn that trail mix!

klaudia, what wo did you decide on?

colleen, i like jaris slim and lean a lot! 2nd fave is RTTC. i am wanting to try Extremely ripped but its not on netflix or at the lib yet. your eats look fab!!!

robin, agree that jaris cardio is SNOOZEmax... but try the all wt ones! your wo sounds awesome! i saw that abt the mac recall... dh keeps that one in his car. did your sons fever break yet?

Good job w. eats! Do you not have snacks? I don't ever eat a morning snack anymore and I'm trying to cut out the afternoon one. I think the snacking just makes me eat more cals all thru the day. I don't think I eat less at meals when I eat "mini-meals". Tht prob makes no sense....:p

Wendy , I WISH I were in a place with year round outside weather !!! I am in OHIO!! :( That's why we were so excited about the great weather this past weekend. It's going to be few and far between from here on out. Ohio is known for it's cloudy, gray winters !! :(
That's one reason we head south as often as possible !!! :) :) :)
I did a premix from APX. Back/bi/tr and added on Core from back/core .
I'm just glad I did ANYTHING this morning. Not sure why but I was really trying to talk myself out of working out. I KNEW once I got started I'd be okay, and I was. But getting started today took forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a great day. Clouds here- but at least it's mild........low 60's.

becky, what is APX, is that an amy bento? ikwym abt once you get started, thats def me sometimes.

kate, ive never been much of a snacker, pc has always been my issue. and i still struggle with that but at least eating clean and lower cal food helps to mitigate. glad to say i make much better food choices than i did years ago.

im still not dressed.... gtg!!

Oh man, I'm not dressed yet either !!!! Got my workout done , had a protein drink and headed to the shower...., but never made it there!! My phone keeps ringing. Right now I am on phone with my oldest DD !! (and SHE is a TALKER !!!!!!!!);):p:D:D

made some homemade hot cocoa mix w/ isabel for the winter. not clean ofcourse, but at least there are no nasty chemicals/or preservatives a la swiss miss. And it made a ton so it will be fun to package it cute and give it away!
 
Good Morning Everyone!

This morning was a 2 mile run followed by ASC 2 - combos 1-4. My allergies were better today. When I ran on Saturday I could barely breathe when I got home and I was blowing my nose the whole time. I had a dr. appt this morning - I have a procedure on Friday and they needed to do the bloodwork. My procedure is not until 2 PM and I can't eat anything after 5 am on Friday. Ugh! And anesthesia does NOT make me nauseous so I wake up starving. I better warn Chris I am going to be a grouch on Friday.

Kate, I never ordered PH because I had so many ME type workouts. I want to clean out my stash and sell some ebay so maybe I will have room for PH. Glad to hear things are calming down for you. I am glad to hear I is better.
Robin, sorry about the 2 sick kids. I hope they get better soon. I like Jari's weight workouts but I agree here cardio is aweful. Her weight workouts can get monotonous if you do them all the time.
Becky, I love APX for the premixes but the workout is so long. Maybe I will do that one on Friday to keep me busy while I can't eat.
Nina, I am glad you were able to get out with just 1 child.
Katie, sorry about getting back to reality. What rotation are you going to do now?
Wendy, I must the only person who is not a huge fan of CS. You can record it on PBS if you want to try it out.

Now I need to get to work!

Do you have any recommendations for CS dvds ??? I especially like to stretch my back / hamstrings / hips - if that helps any.

Sorry for the late check-in! Had a meeting at school this morning. I'm at my mom's picking up dinner-my dad made stuffed cabbage per my request:) He went out at 10 last night to get everything and cooked it overnight! Love him! I was so tired yesterday but managed to squeeze in MIS lower body and the B&G bonus and I'm sore today. I have cardio on tap today-not sure what as usual. And a PTO meeting tonight.

Katie, what rotation are you planning to do now?

Kate, glad to hear Isabel is all better. I must check out this CS-I need it bad. I have no flexibility whatsoever.

Robin, you're right. I think I'm going to just go with the flow til after the new year and start fresh. As long as I'm doing some kind of workout 4-6 times/week I'll be good. Great job on the eats!

Becky, I've been workin gmy way through Slo-Mo. I need to do the split as produced.

Nina, so glad you went. Glad you were able to survive the anxiety without stress eating. I need to get rid of the rest of the Halloween candy:eek:

Wendy, there are days when I have my jammies on the whole day! Your menu from yesterday looks fab. I need to take lessons from you!

Colleen, that's crazy scheduling! I'd be cranky too.
