Good morning girls,

Happy Tuesday to all and first day of school to the MI girls! I hope all goes well.

Today is another beautiful day here in France. I feel like God is just blessing me through the weather we've had this summer!

The girls are at school but I'll pick them up in a bit. Just dropped off our friend at the train for another day in Peoria.

Doing our mountains of laundry!

This morning was pure cardio/cardio abs. Start of week 4!

Well, I never worked out yesterday - but I did get lots of cleaning done and had a great time with friends who came over. The plan was to double up today, but I overslept... There are some weird things going on later this week also, so I am switching things up a bit. Today I will do yesterday's wo (meso one, week two, chest/shoulders/bis) and PT exercises tonight.

Angie, Don't speak of such evil things as laundry!!!:p I haven't even STARTED mine from the weekend yet! And there are MOUNDS of it!:eek:

Today will be schoolmax! Gina on the bus after breakfast, Isabel on the bus after lunch. I can't wait to see them get off the bus together! How weird will THAT be!!!???!??!?

WO will be cardio while J naps this afternoon. This is going to be SO WONDERFUL!!!! 1PM WO's everyday!!!! I am sooooo excited!!!

Eats will be AWESOME! Yesterday meals were great but got too snacky at night. Lately I've been having bigger meals and no snacks in between and I'm doing better than I have in a long time. I love food so to have it in my face 5x a day is making me overeat. I think the 3-meal plan with fruit for snacks if I REALLY TRULY need it is working better for me. For now anyway!

Kate, the PT exercises don't take long - maybe 10 minutes - but most times I add in some of my own stuff. Mike says that my quads and hamstrings are very strong, but my glutes are weak compared to them so I need to work on glute strength and core muscles in general. So in addition to the glute exercises (similar stuff to firewalkers) I am doing hip hikes on the step, some sciatic nerve stretches, and core work and low back stuff. Takes about 20 minutes maybe.

I've been getting so much done! I forgot how much I love being up before everybody! It's about time to wake up Gina - thankfully she's an easy riser!

Morning!

Up, dressed and waking up the ladies:) Damp and rainy day here-not a fun way to start off the school year. Girls get ont he bus at 8:20, going out for breakfast at 8:45-sharing with Neve cause my weight is up-higher than it's been in a very long time:( Then it's home to workout-what I don't know, maybe a week of circuits? And then grocery store-in the rain I'm sure-and then my parents and mil are coming over for Danica's birthday:)

Angie, get that laundry done! I have one/two loads to go. Great job on the workout!

Katie, no worries-cleaning IS a workout:)

Kate, good luck with Gina! Make sure you have the camera when they're getting off the bus! So excited for your afternoon workouts! I hope school tuckers Nevena out so I can workout solo too. Either that or I'll put in a movie for her-she's obsessed with Matilda right now:)

i got in a good run this am, but i am getting slower, not sure why. anyways, i have chest and tris on tap later. and i have renewed good attitude about food and clean eating. i will drop this pesky few pounds. bbiab

Kate I understand what you are saying about 3 vs 5 meals. Sometimes I can't eat 5 meals. Take pics of the girls first day of school plz.

Klaudia no worries, my weight is up 2# b/c of the heavy salt that my fam uses for cookout y-day.:rolleyes:

Y-day I avoided FD 80% of the time. For the first time I cooked the ribeye steaks on the grill and really liked it. I'm shocked that we did not burn the house down. It rained so we had the BBQ 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the garage.
All the meats were cooked on the grill and everything else was cooked in the kitchen.

Workout today M2 Week1.

Nina, Increasing meals by larger portions - more veggies & lean meats and TRYING to not feel bad about grains!:confused: Last night I made a stir fry and put mine over lettuce instead of brown rice. Now, I KNOW brown rice is perfectly healthy and something we SHOULD eat - but I felt like I needed lettuce. Weird, I know.:rolleyes:
If you're slower I'm sure it would be due to a difference in temps/humidity! I can't imagine running in Florida like you do!

Robin, I'll try to post some pics after I get Isabel settled at school. They have you meet the K'ers there.
Glad the FD was mild! LOL @ not burning the house!

Good Morning Everyone!

I am tired and really sore this morning so I don't think I will be leaving my desk unless I have to. I did Max Interval Plyo this morning for the first time and it was really hard. I don't know if it was because I was tired or the moves were hard. I guess I will find out when I do again Saturday. I noticed the cast was struggling too. I really need to get my eats back on track. I tried the same approach as Kate except I must have an afternoon snack. It is hard to go from 12:30ish to 7:30ish without eating. And if I don't have a snack, I eat junk. So I have my yogurt with nuts and fruit to fill me up.

Robin, ^5 on grilling with no incidents. I had to learn when I got tired of waiting for DH to grill. I think I do a better job than him but I still make him do it.
Nina, you can drop those pounds!!! Maybe your running is slowing because your body is catching up with everything over the last couple of months. Or it is the humidity.
Kate, glad you got Gina off with no drama. Is Isabel excited?
Klaudia, circuits would be good to get rid of those extra #'s. Enjoy your workout time today.
Katie, glad the cookout went well. Sorry you overslept but it is hard to get up after a long weekend.
Angie, congrats on the start of week 4! Enjoy the next 2 weeks because then it gets hard.
 
Hi Girls !

In a rush this morning !
I couldn't log on (Cathe site suddenly didn't recognise my password ?:mad:)
Got that all straightened out FINALLY and now it's time to leave to get my permanent crown ! Hopefully that'll be the end of dental appts for a while !!!

Had a good visit with my sis and bil while they were here. Now it's time to get back to exercise and good eating !!!!!!!!
I'm serious too! We leave for a beach in a few weeks and I have some work to do !!!

I did CLX burn circuit 3 today. Will walk later if weather permits. Rain is threatening right now.

Waiting for the girls to come home then going out to lunch for Danica's birthday-she wants chili cheese fries:eek: I'll be having a Greek salad with chicken, dressing ots:) No workout yet, but got laundry washed, folded, AND put away! And I cleaned a bathroom too:)

Nina, I'm with you 100%! Clean eats, positive attitude, and good, tough workouts-we'll get there!

Robin, glad you avoided the drama. It was rainy at our bbq too. I know part of my weight is salt-and the desserts and drinks I indulged in! Back on the C&T train today!

Colleen, I could never go 7 hours without food! I'd be one grouchy b*^%&! I bet that workout was crazy tough, that's all.

Kate empty nest syndrome. My DD is going to the movies with her cousin and friends on her b-day...next week :( she don't need me anymore.

Classical stretch came today.:)

i'm sick of John and Kate.:mad: Don't they know that soon their kids can watch everything they say on youtube?
 
Honestly ! I can't make this stuff up !!!

The dentist appt. was 2 1/2 hours long ! One thing after another. The impression for my crown was wrong. We found that out after the dentist trying over & over again to get it to fit right (grind, polish, all that)........
So he did another impression and put the temporary back in. Trying to get THAT to fit turned out to not work either and it ended up breaking in half !!!!
So ANOTHER impression was done and another temporary crown made and THATS what I have in now, while the dentist works on the permanent crown to try to get it fixed and ready to be put in.
They said they'd try to call today .......so back I'll go to try again.

Kate, I cried when my kids started school. I know how you feel.

I wrote this once and lost it, so am posting quick before I do it again !!
