Good morning girls,

Quick start today. This morning's WO was Imax 2 WU, blasts, KPC abs, and stretch. Sweaty goodness.

Gotta jump in the shower and get the kids to school. Have a great day everyone. I'll be back for personals later!

Vacation is quite lovely, although it appears I am starting my period:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Oh well, whatever, I'm still at the beach!

I'm headed over to the beach to walk for awhile I guess. "See" y'all later!
 
oh i love beach walks! have fun katie. tell me, do you set your alarm on vacation or just get up? sorry for ttom. the walk will help.

well, 1 day done with dh gone. had a good tm run this am - 11miles. not sue what today will bring - i need to mow, but it is so wet. erands to do and must walk dog. i am excited for thursday b/c old navy is having a military discount day - 10% off. my shirts are all kind of baggy right now. eats will be clean. no cravings so far!
 
Morris: I would use some sort of chicken sausage (check along with the hot dogs) or if you want to use meatless check the organic section of the grocery. Sometimes I can find a spicy chorizo that is lower in fat than the real thing and that would be good too.

Katie: Oh well is right! Hey, you're at the beach. :)

Angie: Way to get that workout in!

I am taking the kids to camp and then home for STS chest, shoulders and biceps, along with 20 minutes of cardio. I'll BBL.

Morris, yes I set an alarm but I think I would wake up anyway. I'm just naturally a morning person. Awesome run this morning!
Patti, what are the kids doing at camp today? Your wo sounds great!

I walked on the beach for about 50 minutes, then came home to do a kickbox wo but couldn't get the dvd player to work. Instead, I did this circuit

10 pull ups (kitchen table style)
10 push ups
10 front raises w/band
10 tri extensions w/band
10 bi curls w/band
20 crunches
20 jumping jacks

Repeated four times before people started to wake up and an audience formed:p

Hey girls, busy morning here. Went to the Hallal butchers and got some filet of beef so we'll see how that is. Then went to pick up the girls and had lunch with Rebekah, her husband, and another lady. It was nice but now I have a splitting headache so I took some advil, closed the blinds, and am going to lie down.

Morning Katie! So sorry about TTOM - I'm terrified I'll have it on our cruise. I keep trying to count the days! Great job with your WO this AM. I'm so hoping Cathe's travel DVD will be out before I go to the states again!

Morris, great job with the TM run and one day down is right. You have to look at it that way, don't you? Did you get on FB yet?

Patti, good luck with your WO today. What 20 min cardio will you do?

katie, i like that circuit. i need to start thinking of strengthening exercises to do when we move until i get set back up. q for you. what kind of barbell do you have in your living room? where do you store it? we have a huge 35 lb bar that goes with dh's weight set. he already vetoed it in the lfamily room where my tm will go. i will need something, though.

off to school and walk the dog!
 
Very happy to report the bloat is gone! Weight is down 3#:) Feeling icky-like I'm getting a chest cold but will try for an incline walk on the treadmill at naptime. No extra kids today but I need to get to the grocery store and take the girls to the library after lunch. I want to go see my mom too-she is really despondent about her health situation (posted about it in the OD). Her attitude is horrible-why bother trying to get well when we're all just going to die anyway. She has me so worried and stressed out. The cold rainy weather isn't helping my mood either.

Katie, great circuit! I'm going to have to remember my bands for my vacation-nice little burn they give, no? Sorry about ttom-I think I'll have mine this weekend when we go to the beach:( Never fails!

Morris, nice run! We're supposed to have rain and cold temps the next 4 days:( I have a ton of stuff in my online ON cart-need to get the go ahead from Darrin. You could try some Al Fresco chicken sausage-the sweet Italian or tomato basil-that would be delicious. We had sweet Italian with sauteed peppers and onions last night:)

Quick drive by, busy meeting day this morning. The good news: I got a reprieve until tonight. From Jim. He got home about 8:50 and had to fume about the visit to his family for a while. Once he ran out of steam he didn't want to talk about our stuff. Whew. So, tonight it is. Woo-hoo!

Morris, I bow to you. I didn't even do 5 miles last night, I cut it short at 3.6. The bottom of my left foot was really sore and I just wasn't feeling it. I'll do better tomorrow.

I just finished STS Disc 10- chest, shoulders and biceps, plus a 20 minute run. I'm cooked. :) She did a set of overhead presses/drop sets at the end. What a joke! I could barely get those weights up there. :p

Klaudia: Woo hoo on it only being water weight! I caved at ON earlier this week, plus Gap had a great pair of white jeans that I HAD to have. I have been wanting white jeans for over a year. I'm thinking it's a bad plan with a 4 and 2 year old but I gotta have 'em!

Anne: Good luck tonight amiga. I hope this conversation, as un-fun as it will be, will bring some peace and clarity to your situation. Hugs to you. Loved the food porn pics yesterday, btw. Hi Everyone,

I am working from home today and just loving it. I got almost everything done for work this morning and now I am just hanging out waiting for our handyman to come and finish the last of the repairs. Hopefully he won't be here long because I need to run out and do a couple of errands. I have a training module for work on tap for this afternoon.

Angie, sorry about your headache. I hope the nap helps.
Patti, I am not sure on my next rotation but I think I will do something a little easier. I am thinking about trying to work kb in next month's rotation.
Katie, good circuit idea. Don't kill yourself trying to get a workout in - you are on vacation.
Morris, great job on the swim yesterday and run today. Do you have a closet nearby that you can store your bb in?

Well, it's official. I have an eating disorder. I ate (count them) 16 oreo cookies this afternoon. It was ridiculous... seriously, I don't know how I convince myself in the process that it's ok. Fortunately, I don't feel disgusting but I still can't believe I did it. I had some chicken at my friend Rebekah's for lunch and the taste didn't sit well with me and I was trying to eat something else to get rid of the taste... apparently I went a bit overboard. YIKES. And I wonder why I can't lose weight. Talk about stress eating... geez.

Nina, I was thinking that after I finish my current rotation that I might try LIC and BM2 upper body for a few weeks. What other ub WOs do you like?

Patti, great WO! Sometimes I find myself thinking Cathe is just ridiculous b/c of what she is doing... I am so far from her fitness level that I just laugh. Like the pike deals on the ball for planks... my body won't even get close to doing that. She's all, "these are kind of tough..." or the levitation holds? Seriously...

Anne, is it hard to put off that conversation with Jim another day? That kind of stuff gives me butterflies in my stomach and it's so hard to function... if you don't mind me asking, what is the major issue? Why doesn't Jim want to be married anymore? I'm guessing it isn't just one thing... it never is, is it?

So, Ryan says the meat was much much better. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I think I may just stay away from red meat for a while... I don't know. Just not appetizing. Small salad for dinner... slightly stuffed from my cookie overload. :eek:

Tomorrow is B&G. I'm telling myself just 2 more times. I wanted to do it once a week for 4 weeks... 2 more times.

Hey Angie, Hugs for the Oreo binge! I've thought the same ting.....you can justify it while you're doing it and as soon as you're done eating you're like "WAHT WAS THAT!!!!!" Make sure you're drinking enough water and treat your body good for the rest of the day. Don't punish yourself with extra wrkouts....just move on.
