Good morning, ladies! No more vomit or diarrhea in my house since Sunday, so it is back to the real word for us all today. Chris came home to sit with Collin yesterday while I went to court, and when I came home 3 hours later, Chris had a suntan/burn! Looks like while Collin napped in his bed, Bishy napped on the back deck!

It is supposed to be blazing hot again today for one final day, and then temps get back to more seasonal for the rest of the week. I think today's high is 88* then back down around 65* for the rest of the week.

I am very slightly sore from chest and back yesterday.... I would have thought I would be more sore...? Today I am running, YAY, probably right around 4 miles.

Question: Will plyo legs of meso 3 (since it has such a high cardio factor) interfere with my running? Or vice versa?

Katie, What a "sacrifice" chris made yesterday!:p Why is it when WE are home with them we get covered in various body fluids.....and they get off so easy!?:p:D Glad Collin is feeling better!

After CTX I did a GRUELING arm & ab routine from CS. YOWZA did that burn!

My dad is coming to visit today. Hope it goes ok.....he can be a little wierd.:confused:

My clean eating is PAYING OFF! I am down 3# since my Sunday weigh-in. YES!!!! Mike even noticed a differnce in my belly this morning. VERY MOTIVATING for keeping clean today!
 
Kate, awesome job on the wo and the #s! I was doing really well there for awhile and then PMS de-railed me.

Once these brownies are gone (and my period is gone), I'm going squeaky again. I have high hopes with Meso 3 -- heavy weights, plyo legs, and running ~14 m/w -- combined with really clean eats. I really want to lean out a bit for summer.

Run was good, 4 miles, felt like I could have gone forever... Ahhhhh well, life:rolleyes:

d - roast & veggies ...none of the fams homemade white bread - sob!!!:eek::(
 
So much for cardio power! After my 2 1/2 hour grocery trip, I went to McD's and got McFlurries for Darrin and me:eek: Darn PMS! Ah, well. At least we have clean(er) food in the house now. Not sure on today's workout-maybe a short incline walk and some pulls/chins and dips? Oh, and some abs-or pilates. I'll decide later. Got cleanmax to do, dance this afternoon, and probably doctor appts for the girls-folow up for Milla and a check on Nevena's runny nose. Fun stuff.

Katie, nice run. As for plyo legs, I just read a post yesterday that said plyo legs would be a great for improving running speed. Check the STS forum-I think it was posted by Fiddlefit.

Kate, nice job this morning. What is CS? Menu looks good! And great job with the 3#s! I'm not going near the scale this week!

It is 2am and my baby is wide awake!!:eek:
My allergies are acting up as well. Yesterday's eating was decent. Snuck in two Werthers, but other than that it was good. Ended up doing cardio - walked uphill with baby in the stroller. That last hill was pretty killer, but felt good!

Kate - Congrats on the pounds! What is CS?

katie, so glad collin is better. and yes, life gets in the way of those runs:mad: finn woke at 6 but was content to watch tomas while i finished my last 1.5 mile and did abs. makes me feel a tad guilty, but, i got to finish, so that is good.

kate, you are will power queen for sure. i do not know how you subsist on so few carbs, though. i find i get wayyyy off track if i cut them back too much, so i try to have them all in the am and midday. they make me sick at night:( hope the visit goes okay with your dad. is he staying overnight?

lisa, sorry for the early am nurse. hope you get some sleep. good job with the eats and the hill walk. my double stroller is brutal on the hills but i love it.

morning kl. sometimes the temptations get too out of control after a lot of cardio, for me at least. glad you have some clean food in the house. how do you make you oatmeal with cot cheese?

well, i had an awesome run this am despite the interruptions and did core. breakdfast was cot cheese, blueberries, and fiber 1. it is supposed to be 80 here today but is 45 right now and will be 35 tonight. crazy weather. i am just glad to have a home day. i feel relaxed and happy, and that will keep me on track today. bbl

I have such a hard time with PM snack too.... too much and I'm not hungry for dinner but eat with the fam and eat too much. If I leave it out I am starving then snack while I'm eating, eat dinner and overeat! I did good yday AND I WILL AGAIN TODAY!!!!

Lisa, That walk sounds great! And if as bad as you got was 2 werthers I'd say you did great!!!

Morris, Isabel often wakes up and lays in my bed while I finish my cardio. She shoud be sleeping anyway. I dont feel a bit guilty. She knows she can lay there quiet or go back to bed.:D
You really think I dont have a lot of carbs???? I feel like I overdo it! I really need to see a nutritionist....

My dad's just stopping by for a couple hours....overnight would do me in! He has such a woerd sense of humor. He jokes about spanking the kids....when he has a horrible history of spousal/child abuse. When Gina lost her first tooth he said to her "Did your boyfriend punch that out?!" He really annoys me. He's trying to be good grandpa but he falls sooooo far short. I can't leave him alone in the room with my kids and that makes me very sad. His loss....

Is there such a thing as clean-sugar?

Katie I had slight doms my first week of M3. It maybe due to the 1RM is ony 80% just like M2 wk4. Chris sun burn now that's a funny story. :D I not sure about plyo legs question, I'm glad Collin is feeling better.

Kate keep up the good work and ^5 on weight lose. Stay away from those treats and you'll do fine. MMMM homemade white bread, it must smell Divine. The only way that I can lose weight is to eat low carb. When I eat clean I just maintain my current weight.

Good Morning Everyone!

The last hot day and then it will be normal again. I am so sick of this heat. I really wanted to run but Chris has banned me from running until I see the dr. This morning was LIC Cardio Blast and STS Ab Circuits Weights and Plates.

Someone asked yesterday where I lived - I live outside of Washington DC. A couple of weeks ago someone came back from China and went to the ER and infected everyone there. We have had some mysterious cases popping up. Apparently the measles can stay in the air for up to 3 hours after an infected person has been there. Luckily, most people have been vaccinated but if you have not then you can contract it.

Morris, I am so jealous you have the day off. I really want another day off.
Katie, I am surprised that I have not had DOMS with M3. My muscles have been tight but no DOMS.
Kate, keep up the clean eating!!!! Isn't great to see the results?
Lisa, sorry you are up so early. Hope you were able to get some rest.
Robin, I got my Amy DVD's yesterday too! I plan to do KB on Thursday.
Klaudia, I don't think I have ever had a McFlurry. I never tried it on purpose so I would never miss it.
Anne, it is hard taking care of people. Glad you are getting some time to yourself.

Colleen, In all honesty (no offense, Klaudia!) I think McFlurrys are McNasty! They leave a really gross aftertaste in my mouth - like the fat of it is all slimed around and I have to brush my teeth. Save yourself the cals!

I did stray from my plan a bit.....had a handful of grapes while I was cutting up stuff for chili. Isabe; was eating some and they looked so crunch, big, and juicy I couldnt resist! Do grapes count as a cheat?!:p I didn't "need" them but oh, they were good!
 
Kate, none taken! I just looked up the nutritional info and am appalled at what I ate! Should've held out for a small frozen custard instead:) That's what fatigue and pms will do to you! Grapes are ok! I've not been buying them cause I can't find them grown in the U.S.-only Chile:(

Colleen, Kate is right-you're not missing anything but 550 calories and 17 grams of fat!! How do you like that ab workout? I haven't tried it yet.

Robin, I wish there was clean sugar! I want to hear your kbx review, too!

Morris, I just had plain oatmeal with ground flaxseed and a drizzle of maple syrup, cottage cheese was separate:) Don't feel guilty about finishing your workout! Finn's old enough to wait for 10 minutes. And he is learning that exercise is important. You're a good role model:)

I just ordered Butts & Guts and another riser for my step. I had to use my 20% discount for ordering STS cardio, right? ;) Jim will not be happy, but he'll get over it. He bought a bunch of stuff while I was gone last week, so we're even, right?

I did 4DS LIS cardio and abs last night. It felt good to work out again. I was going to try to get up early today, but that didn't happen. That's okay, though, I have tap tonight and I'm going to do a total body weight work out tomorrow. I want to do PushPull because I love that little work out, but I'm leaning toward Muscle Max because it's harder. Opinions, please, what do you guys think?

Klaudia the new Amy CIA kickbox is fantastic. It's nothing like Rumble it's more like In the Ring or KB Extreme. If you love to do roundhouses you will love this DVD. :DIt's high impact but she does have a modifier. The choreography is not complex so it's easy to pick up the first time.The music is great. It has 5 premixes. I did the first premix which had core work with medicine ball and stretch. During the core work she had us doing a plant with our toes on the medicine ball :eek:. I'm surprised that I did not break my neck.

I'm biased toward Cathe and Amy. :eek:

Colleen measles!? :eek:I thought at first you were talking about Swine flu. It's funny b/c they quarantine animals that come in from other countries. I guess it would be unethical to quarantine people.

Kate "McFlurrys are McNasty" :D it dosn't have enough McChocolate for me. grapes are good for you...vit C and fiber.

I forgot to tell you ladies. My DD called me while her and her cousin was walking home from school and wanted to know if they can bring home a new puppy. A man was giving away Rottweiler/Lab mix puppies. HECK NO!

clean for me too so far, but not like kate:p. i have had lots of fruit and some nuts, but the most delicious lunch of quinoa, tofu, brocolli with a little balsamic and oo and a smidge of avacado. so delish!!! no nasty stuff callin my name now. i think i do better when i get some fat (healthy) in there. chick salad for dinner, and snack will be yougart and carrots. bbl
 
Morris good eats today and I usually mix balsamic with extra virgin olive oil. Who me an enabler....:D

Kate the kb need just about the same space as regular step w/o.
