kate, i am totally jealous of your toys;) and i know what you mean about the 30 min naps - but, i won't complain if i can have anohter night like last night!!

angie, everyone's body is different, that is for sure. try the heavier lifting. i do love it. that said, i do not do it lower body b/c frankly, my lower body gets enough with the impact cardio.

klaudia, have fun shopping. i am with you ivcariously. it would be so fun...

upperbody done - 4ds ctsx2!! had 100 cal pack of popcorn, and cravings gone. plus, dh is on his way home, so we can go sledding together. it will be a clean dinner of grilled scallops, salad, and maybe quinoa and black beans, if i can figure out how to wash the quinoa without a fine mesh seive:( dh is leaning more toward getting out of the military. i am excited but very very scared too. i love the financial and insurance security. there are so many what ifs. but i do know if we stay in, life will be complete upheval for the next 6 years. not sure that is good for our marriage or kids, kwim? urgggg. cannot think anymore

Angie, you're doing a great job, too, and it has been fun doing this rotation together! I think I'm going to do 3 weeks of Slow and Heavy when I get back from Mexico, then I'll see what Cathe cooks up for March. But everyone raves about FF's December rotation, so maybe I should try that....hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

Morris, you do have a lot to think about. I don't have any real advice, but please know we're here for you if you need to vent!

are you guys sledding alone?! i miss sledding! theres a great toboggan run not too far from us. kwym re dh being around. im almost more "off schedule" when he's here on the weekends. (read: more aggravated!:p)

And, I keep forgetting to tell you guys! We went to Dick's yesterday and I bought ankle weights. I had some that had sand in them, but they disintegrated (I don't know why, I only had them since about 1992, lol!). So, I got adjustable, up to 5 pounds on each leg. 4DS leg work out, here I come! I've been doing it, just without the ankle weights. And, Legs and Glutes is probably my all-time favorite leg work out and I always did that work without the weights, too. Having them will make it feel like a new work out, right?

robin, you can do ballroom dancemax tonight!:D

anne, lime chicken tacos:

3 T lime juice
1 T chili powder
1 c. salsa
1 can corn, drained
1.5 lbs. frozen chicken breasts

put chicken in slow cooker
pour lime juice on top
sprinkle on cp
cook on low about 5 hours
shred chicken w/ 2 forks in the pot
toss on the salsa and corn
stir well
cook on low 30 min.
enjoy!

so easy......i throw mine on some romaine & spinach w/ some cheese. and, oh yeah, tortilla chips. cause id rather be carby than crabby!:D
 
Hey ladies, quick check in, I'm watching inauguration stuff on TV (I'm addicted too, Robin). Eats were good today...until dinner. I was STARVING! So I had leftover stuffed pepper (clean), mac & cheese (fairly tidy), and then dessert :eek::eek: Warm brownie with vanilla ice cream:p It had been over a week since my last dessert, I was due;)

Now I am in carb-and-sweets hangover land.
 
my cravings came back:(:( i had a mc d's small vanilla cone and ate half. urgggg. katie's dessert sounds so much better. dinner was sparkly, though - scallops, salad, and quinoa with blk beans and swt potatos (will make great leftovers). off to bed for me.

Morris, No sweat on the cone. It had calcium, protein, and probably only 50 calories. You burned it off carrying Aidan's car seat!:D

I did a bunch of 1rm tests tonight!! Had to stop because I was feelin' it!!!

I almost skipped wo'ing for oreos and homemade chocolate ice cream. Will power prevailed!!!!
