I've been married for 6 months today!! I just left Chris asleep in the bed upstairs with a card on his pillow.:D

I am going to use the 4DS workouts this week, then back to Gym Styles until STS is shipped. Speaking of STS, did everyone check the blog?!?! So today I am doing 4DS HIS / Chest & Back.

Change of plans -- I did HIS then Back and Biceps.

Not sure on the menu today -- I feel like the only food in my house is Thanksgiving food.

I'm like you Katie. The only food I have is Thanksgiving. Just think of all the leftovers. :eek:

My plans are to do k-bell 40min w/o but I don't think I will have time. My doggie has an appointment at 11 for shots. I need to buy a few things b/c my sister is coming to town. i guess next week I can get back to normal.

Katie, I did the weights from 4DS last week and it felt so good! I think I'll do GS or S&H this week. Not sure yet.... Happy Anniversary! 6 months is it??? Seems like longer than that!:D

Robin, We're all jealous of your bells! Maybe after STS for me...

b - kashi, apple slices
s - clementines or clif bar - depends if I get to do my WO in AM or PM
l - leftover chili! and veggies
s - opposite of AM snack
d - steak and potatoes, salad

Last night Mike ended up working late so I made chili instead of steak.

Hi Everyone!

Thanksgiving is getting closer and closer and just 1 month until Christmas. So much to do - so little time. I know it will get all done but I am getting stressed just thinking about it.

Katie, Wow 6 months - it seems much longer than that.
Kate, great workout yesterday. I bet you are looking forward to having everyone home for a few days.
Robin, I hate rushing through my workouts. I hope Cathe posts a nice timesaver rotation for December.

Morning, everyone! No work out yesterday--I had a therapy session after work and the shoveling was done when I got home. Oh, well, today is another day, right?

Kate and Klaudia, can you please share your salsa chicken recipes? I'm especially interested in the crock pot one. Here's what I made for dinner Sunday night:

I baked a chicken breast that had been marinated in toasted sesame salad dressing, then sauteed onion, garlic, red pepper, and carrot. After the veggies were soft, I added the chicken, which was shredded, rice noodles, and the peanut sauce. I let it reduce a little bit, then plated it up and garnished with lime juice, cilantro, and crushed peanuts. If I had had scallions, I would have thrown those on top, too. It was delicious. That's one of the best dinners I make and it's pretty healthy.

I'm back from the Vets and the bill was $192 :mad: I wish they would give vaccinations at Petco or Petsmart it's always cheaper. Anyway Pepe is very healthy and will be able to get groomed on Friday.

I started my w/o GoFit k-bell circuit but I was only able to get through one circuit. I was getting DOMS as I went through just one of the circuit :eek:. I guess I'm expecting too much too soon.
 
Robin, Pets are expen$ive!:mad: As much as I do love having a dog, I think after Mufasa kicks it I'll go awhile without having one. Yeah, that's what I say now....come spring, I'll probably want another one!:eek: OUCH on immediate DOMS!

I'm waiting for Julia to go to sleep then I'm going downstairs to do GS CT. MIL came and picked up Isabel so I am big-kid free til 4:20!!!! yahoooooooo!

eats are still on track! I am so determined to eat squeaky clean and get rid of this pooch!
 
Hey ladies,

I'm officially couched. My cold has taken over and I can barely walk across the room. I'm bummed but I suppose it's better now than in a few days when I have to take a 9 hour flight. So, my post is short and sweet today. I'll check in when I feel better.

Only a few more days and I'll be "home."

hi anne - good luck with your workout today. i love my crockpot and especially love new recipes.

well, i am having major anxiety issues today, and i am not exactly sure why, other than a build up of the usual. i feel awful, though, inside. i did some good for me things in the hopes of feeling better, so i am proud of that - i swam for an hour and did pub. eats are very clean, though i am overdoing the nuts i think. must cut back, but they taste so good!
b - egg whites and salsa and cheese and apple
s - yougart and bananna and nuts
l - cottage chees and fiber 1 mix, small cup bean soup, 1 small square dark choclate
s - ????
d -???? lots of veggies for sure.
my mil leaves tomorrow, and i am so sad, but i am also anxious about going off crutches. i just want my foot better. i need to jump around.

I read in women's health one trick to eating clean is to pile on the veggies and white meat on your plate. Then put some stuffin, mac-n-cheese, and other "carby goodness" on top. This way your family will not guess that you are watching what you eat. If your family is like mine they don't like it when you diet during the holidays.

sorry you're feeling so down. just think of how great you'll feel a month from now! this will all be (bad) memory! you'll be back at it soon! ...its easy for me to overdo nuts too. they are so good. cashews, alonds, peanuts, pistachios...id better stop!

robin, did you know morris is a vet? .....i read that trick too. i hate the flack i get for not "loading up". if only they could see me when dh and i decide to make dessert after the girls go to bed!:eek:

no workout yet - hopefully soon.
it is SO GREAT to have a quiet house!

I'm here! I'm here! I went to Target today-by myself. My dad took doughnuts to the girls' classes today-just because. He came over after so I recruited him to watch Nevena so I could go out solo:) Found some Champion workout pants for $15 and a top for $8! Score! I'm going down now to do GS Back and a run-finally:) Danica has dance again tonight, tomorrow, and Friday. I love her dancing but I'll be glad when Nutcracker is over on Saturday. And I have a PTO committee meeting at 7! Eats started out bad-can you guess why?;)

I'll be back for personals in a bit. I need to get this workout done before I lose my motivation...
 
Hi Everyone!

I definitely load up at Thanksgiving. I love food and use this holiday to splurge. I don't eat that much when I go to my MIL. Everything is way too salty. Lunch was supposed to be a grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms, but the bread fell apart when I picked it up, so I just ate the chicken and mushrooms.

Kate, I am doubling up because Friday and Saturday I won't be able to work out. Hope you get your workout done soon.
Angie, sorry you are sick.

Morris, I know it is tough now but hang in there. It seems like a long time before you get off your crutches but it will be here before you know.

Klaudia, Gla dyou finally got your Target trip! Sounds like it was a good one! What a great dad you have! My FIL is pretty awesome that way. Have fun GS'ing!

Colleen, Are you doing a certain rotation or just winging it? I'm just keeping track in my head right now. Are you taking Friday off too then? Good for you!

GS CT done! And oh am I gonna hurt tomorrow. I worked to absolute complete failureon each exercise and I am trembling even as I'm typing. I'm probably going to be very sorry tomorrow evening when the DOMS sets in. My shoulder is bothering me still....oh, i do NOT want an injury. I'll do Legs tomorrow, cardio THur. and BisBackShouldrs on Friday. Maybe letting it rest up a bit will help. Should do some CS too probably.... Oh, man, old age!:p
