angie, just saw your post.... glad all is well. hows ryan settling in? will he do all the unpacking???!!!

Morning all,

Things are starting to calm down here and get into a "routine" for what I can expet anyway. This morning I'm taking the girls to a story time at the local library. Something to do. I might go over to the gym afterwards to see what I can do about a pass for while I'm here.

Ryan seems to be doing well. He's lonely in a place where no one speaks english but he'll be OK. Our house won't be ready until Dec. 1 so he's in a bed/breakfast kind of place. Our stuff is there I think, but probably hasn't gone through customs yet.

Katie, hope your workout went well. I am feeling like I need to WO so BAD!

Kate, hope you get your nap in today! Naps are heavenly.

angie, at customs does someone rifle thru ALL your house stuff!!!!???? i need to workout too....grrrrrr - no time!!

robin, mmmmm....pancakes!!! doing anything w/ the kids or quiet day?

tidy eating today.....

Hi Everyone!

Today is a little calmer but I have had some deadlines this morning so I had to get some stuff done. This afternoon will be good and hopefully I will get out of her at a reasonable hour today.

Katie, enjoy your day off today. I miss having Veteran's Day off.
Kate, hope you can squeeze a quick workout in.
Angie, I am sorry that Ryan is lonely. It was strange when we were in Mexico but luckily everyone spoke English.
Robin, pancakes sound really good right now. Maybe I should get lunch.

w/o was PUB
b: oatmeal w/ almonds
s: 1/2 clif bar
l: maybe grilled chicken salad
d: turkey meatloaf cutlets

hey everyone - it is hard for me to post everyday, but i will try to keep up.

colleen, i did pub today too - that is such a great workout.

kate, enjoy your nap - i wish i was better at napping.

katie, enjoy low max blasts. i like any blast only mixes, and sometimes all of them on the same day:)

hi angie

we had a pretty good morning. i am so frustrated on crutches still. we went to the park, and all i do is stand on one leg. my arm pits hurt, and i am irritable. but, yesterday i swam for an hour, and i will again tomorrow, so that is something.

eats are clean so far - cereal and cottage cheese for break;, egg and fruit for snack;, soup, veg, and 1 piece toast for lunch. now i just need to balance afternoon snack and beef stew for dinner, which will be very small b/c i don't even like beef stew!

colleen, they sure keep you busy! hows dhs job situation going? clif bars! im out and dh cant seem to find them at the store.....guess i gotta go myself!men!;):D

morris, good job w/ the eats and swimming. the park would be frustrating. are you getting some help while dh is gone?

eats are tidy. im tired! julia will nap soon - hope i can at least close my eyes for a few minutes. hopefully isabel will cooperate!

Hi everyone!

Busy day today. I volunteered in Milla's class this morning. My parents came over to watch Nevena and brought doughnuts! And tried to get the girls to forego their cereal and fruit! Will they never learn?! I resisted-so far. Got my run/walk in. I wish the weather were nicer. I much prefer running outside. This afternoon we have dance and then parent/teacher conferences. Hope I hear some good things;)

Katie, enjoy your day off! Have fun shopping:)

Kate, I hope you get a chance to rest. Even 15 minutes is better than nothing.

Colleen, hope you make it an early day. Your meals look great.

Robin, hope you're having a nice day off with the kids. Mine have school today-thank goodness;)

Angie, did you get a workout pass? Where in France are you moving? Have you checked into any English speaking groups, like ex-pats, etc.? My friends belonged to an Americans Abroad playgroup when they lived in Zurich. Maybe they'll have something similar?

Morris, hang in there! You'll be back to working out soon. I know it's tough. I'm always thinking about exercise-when to do it, what to do, etc. Keep up the clean eating and the swimming, etc. and you'll be in great shape:)

b-kashi heart to heart
s-1/2 pear, string cheese, 1/4 pb&j
l-leftover turkey chili

BBL...

klaudia, your wish is my command - i just got a 15-min nap and i feel so refreshed! thanks for the vibes! i love to work in the girls classrooms - just wish i could right now! maybe in a few months... did you say donuts??!! pears sound so good - on sale at meijer this week too - time to load up! we have g's conference thursady. inlaws will watch older girls while we do dinner out w/ julia and then the conf, im giddy for some somewhat-alone time with dh....maybe we can hot tub'it soon.:D im jealous of your run/walk!!! i think ill cave soon on the elliptical. dh wants one bad too. and he caves way quicker than i do!:p

Kate, could the elliptical be a christmas present for the both of you? I still use my HRM watch, but it doesn't have a chest strap, so it's not constantly taking your HR. I think I want a Polar, I may ask for it for xmas.

Angie, lots going on in your life right now, I know working out would make things feel *normal.* Things will settle down soon enough.

Robin, pass the pancakes!!

Colleen, your menu looks soooo good!

Morris, you reminded me of the pain of crutches!! When I broke my foot (the first time) I was a single mom, as well as a stay-at-home mom! I broke it about 3 days after Collin turned one, and he could not walk yet. So I was trying to take care of a baby ALONE with a BROKEN FOOT. Then, just when you think it can't get worse, I got the flu. *TMI* but I remember having to crawl to the bathroom to throw up. It was awful... But I think I was only on crutched for about two or three weeks, then I got a boot and could more or less walk on it with that. That made things much easier.

Klaudia, now I want a donut!! You ladies are killing me today! Hope the conferences go well tonight.

Off to tumbling class!!

Hi, everybody, I can't believe it's after 5 already! I didn't have a chance to post yesterday, as I have a new computer and I'm still trying to figure it out. I've moved from a PC to a Mac. I had a Mac years ago and I loved it, so I'm happy to have it, but there is an adjustment period.

I managed to work out yesterday! Yay! I did the Body Blast Timesaver workout #1. It's only 38 minutes, but something is better than nothing. My goal is to do all 5 timesaver works outs this week, next week, and the week of Thanksgiving. I figure after 3 weeks of getting back into the swing of things I'll be ready for more.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

anne

I'm happy to report the girls got glowing remarks from their teachers:) Danica even made the All A's Honor Roll! Her name will appear in our local paper. Now if they would only behave so well at home, right? And I resisted the doughnuts! So, all in all, it was a good day.

Kate, glad to see you got some rest. And I hear ya on the alone time. It's our 11th anniversary this weekend and our friends offered their cottage to us for the weekend, but I don't want to bother my parents again-they ALWAYS watch the kids for us without fail and my Mom has horrible back issues so I think we may just stay home and go another time. Sigh. I keep telling myself one day we'll be wanting this time with the kids back, so I shouldn't complain too much. Funny about the elliptical, too. Since Darrin started working out, he's talking about getting Selectech dumbells! But had I suggested them...they do cave a lot quicker!

Anne, welcome back! I think doing the Timesavers is a great idea. Have fun playing with the new computer.
