Good Morning everyone!!

Kate, I just wanna say how absolutely AMAZING your birth story is -- how cool! You are a born mom and your girls (and Mike) are so lucky to have you! Snuggle that baby all you can!

And please post some pictures! Once you upload the photo to photobucket, copy the IMG code beneath the picture and paste it directly into the post and it will show up.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

My day off yesterday was really wonderful! I took Collin to preschool, and then went shopping for several hours. I took a very small nap (about 15 minutes) and also did some cleaning around the house. It was very nice, and I feel recharged for work!

No workout for me today -- I am taking a quasi- rest week. I am going to try to be at work about an hour early this morning so I can get some extra stuff done -- you get so much work done when the phone isn't ringing!!

Tonight is Collin's first "Creative Movements" (gymnastics/tumbling) class at the local wellness center. I'm so excited, and he is too, i'll try to get a few pictures.

I'll try to check back on my lunch hour!!

Kate I'm sure that he will enjoy his class.

Kate how's is it going mom. I can't wait to see her little face.

Good Morning Everyone!

I knew I should have checked in last night but I was too tired after working another long day.

Congratulations Kate! What an amazing birth story.
Katie, glad you had a great day yesterday. I have been trying your approach to get work done but it has not been effective. My coworkers have figured out I am in early and start calling.
Robin, I think we are having tacos for dinner too! I need to go get an avocado.
Klaudia, great job on the eats yesterday!

Good morning ladies,

Katie, I'm so glad you had a nice day off yesterday. It sounds heavenly. I hope Collin enjoys his tumbling class!

Robin, enjoy your WO today. MM is one I don't have. I am so ready to splurge on all things Cathe but I'm trying to be patient as I have a birthday and Christmas coming! :)

Colleen, you always mix up workouts in interesting ways. Hopefully soon enough I'll know them well enough to make up my own premixes.

Kate, how are things going with little Julia? I told all my friends your amazing story yesterday. I'm so excited for you!

Today my plan is to do LIC #3. I like that one. It's working out so well for me to WO at the gym with the kids in child care. I'm not going until 4 today though. I'm taking my kids to some princess thing at the children's museum.

Meals up in the air as usual. Yesterday wasn't horrible but not clean. Today will at least start out with kashi!

Hi to Emily, Natalie, Klaudia, Steph, Anne!!

Have a great day all!

Hello ladies!

My eats were good last night-until I had the caramel apple we got from the cider mill. Well, at least it's only once a year, right?

Today's workout is supposed to be Core Synergistics. Not sure if I'll stick to the rotation or maybe sub in some pilates, we'll see. Right now, I'm not feeling so hot, so hopefully by this afternoon, I'll be up for something.

Kate, hug that little peanut for me:)

Katie, have fun at tumbling class. I bet Collin will have a blast:)

Robin, I really like that premix, too. I'm already missing my Cathe workouts and I'm only on week 4 of P90X.

Colleen, all your meals look good. I wish I liked tofu. It would give me some variety.

Angie, a day at the museum sounds fun! I wish we had something like that here.

Hi to Natalie, Emily, Stephanie, and Anne:)

Hi, everybody! I'll try to keep up with this check-in, but I have to warn you that I am weekday poster. I try not to use the computer much on the weekends since I stare at one all day every day at work.

So far this week I did an 8 mile bike ride and Total Body Sculpt. I know TBS is way easy, but I haven't worked out in 4 weeks and that was what I felt like doing. I did go pretty heavy on the weights, though. My motto right now is, "Something is better than nothing." I have to get back on the workout bandwagon, it definitely helps me keep my sanity. Tonight I have tap class, which is a work out, believe me! Not Cathe level, but this particular class gets my heart rate up and makes me use muscles I didn't know I had. It's so much fun, though!

Hi to Katie, Robin, Colleen, Angie, Klaudia, and all who follow!

So, a little bit about me:
I live in mid-Michigan and had the fantastic opportunity to meet Klaudia and Kate not long ago, as well as Jennifer, another Michigan Catheite (plus a friend of Jennifer's). I'm a librarian and I work on a project called the Michigan eLibrary (check out mel.org, especially if you have school age kids). I'm 39 (as of last Sunday--I was hoping Julia would come on my birthday, but her birthday is good, too!). I've been doing Cathe tapes since the mid-90s. I think PowerMax was my first Cathe workout, I found out about her on videofitness.com.

I'm married, but currently separated. Not fun, but there it is. Last night my husband told me he'd like to try to work things out, if I'm willing. Well, I definitely am! He was the one who decided he needed to leave, but I realized (through our wonderful therapist) that we had both been unhappy for quite some time. He's a great guy, though, and I think we'll end up back together in the end. And I think we'll both be healthier, happier people. Who doesn't want that?

Okay, I'll close this novel by confessing what I ate today (it's not clean or tidy!):

b-yogurt and string cheese
l-beef barley soup and deluxe nachos
d-? probably pasta

It's lonely and quiet around here without Kate to keep us going throughout the day!

I ended up not going to workout b/c the girls just were begging to come back to the hotel and relax. Their lives have been anything but normal lately so I figured giving them a break was a good idea.

Anne, love hearing about you! Sorry to hear about your separation right now. Ugh. Seems to be running rampant through our group! I really hope you can work it out! Stuff like that just breaks my heart!

Eating was neither clean nor tidy today. Eating out makes it so hard and there's only so many times you can avoid the yummy stuff. I had a "grande" bowl at Rubio's (one of my fave mexican places). Then a few of the girls' pretzel bites and then my friend who is renting our house made me oatmeal cookies which are by far my favorite! Tomorrow will be better. WO at 11 a.m. - LIC #3.

Goodnight all!

I didn't get my workout in:( So today was my unplanned rest day. Ah, well. Get back to it again tomorrow, right?

My eating was ok, considering I still haven't done my much needed shopping. Had eggs with spinach, cheese and salsa on a ww tortilla.

Anne, sending hugs. And I know what you mean about tap! There was a tap number in Danica's dance recital last year-holy legs, batman! The dance seemed to go on forever. I was exhausted watching. I bet it's an awesome workout:) Oh and some other MI ladies over on OD were talking about another get together in March to keep the winter blues away-you in?

Angie, I'm sure your eating isn't that bad;) Pretty soon, you'll be eating all sorts of yummy French food-no Rubio's though. So don't be too hard on yourself, okay?

Kate, thinking about you and the family.

Hope everyone else had a great day. See you tomorrow:)
