I slept long and well last night -- thank goodness!!! I think I am going to pull out IMAX2 this morning to celebrate!

S a few lunch leftovers???
D not sure, need to check with the family!

Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been MIA. I've just been tired and busy lately. Today we leave for Hilton Head. :) My morning plans are to packmax, cleanmax and get in an upper body workout before I leave.

I think I will be doing push/pull 3 sets in a pyramiad up style. I'm trying to follow the April rotation but I don't have the pyramiads.

I caved and order sts Sunday night.

Kate I like my guys clean cut also.
Robin I'll wave to you as a pass through Queens to the airport. ;-) ;-)

Hi Shirl, Colleen and Steph!!

On Sunday I did a 3 mile walk it was before our towns St. Patty's parade. I ran just a little and my shins are killing me. :-(

I didn't order STS, I really wanted to. But, I don't need it. I have enough workouts, you don't even want to know how many and I've sold quite a few. We have coop this morning. Kids love it and so do I. Have a great day everyone. My booty is a little sore from ballet. Workout - IntervalX+ and abs/core+.

Off to a good start! At work early, going to get some work done.

Katie, doesnt sleeping make all the difference! I slept well too, good workout, i need to pull out imax2, but i only have VHS!

Robin, how do you like CTX? I know its the first week, but i dont have the series. You asked yesterday about the shirataki noodles..they are pretty good if you prepare them as the package suggests. i can forward you a link! They have glucomannan, so once you read Perfect Body diet, Cassandra suggests them.

Jenn, so good to see you! Enjoy your trip, it sounds great. I didnt order STS....Shirl, i agree, dont think i need it at this time, its purely because i love and support Cathe, but i need to think about right now, and now, dont need it!!

I've noticed alot of the recipes in Perfect Body Diet has glucomannan.
Yes can you send me the link to those noodles. I love CTX so far Steph. It is a little different than GS and S&H. And Cathy looks like a teenager in CTX.

Steph, I took ballet when I was 4 and 5 but stopped because my mom couldn't take my stage fright at recitals :)
Robin, glad you are enjoying CTX. Are the cardios similar to 4DS? I am getting a small tax refund (which is a surprise) so I might get it. I have heard rave reviews.

Hey ladies, quick check-in then back to work!! Afternoon snack plan has changed AGAIN -- I am going to have a small salad with lettuce, salsa, black beans, and some cheese. I am feeling guilty about my dinner and lack of veggies, so that should help me balance things out some.

I know what you mean Katie I'm eating my veggies right now. I'm like a kid bec. I have to put vingerette on veggies before I eat them.

The cardio cTX is similar to 4day split, it has kickboxing, step, step interval, and floor hi/low. 10-10-10 has a combo of each.


I read in Oxygen magazine (Train Smarter) that drop sets (strip sets, burnouts) are better for muscle growth. So it is better to start with heavy weights and then decrease (like pyramiding downward)."By decreasing the weight and continuing to work you recruit the reserve muscle fibers and nerves that have not yet fired" p.138.

I know this is how Cathe does it but I didn't know why.:+
 
thanks for the tip Robin. Whenever I need a timesaver lifting session I do the Pyr. Down. Glad I'm doing something right!

Hey Katie! How is your evening? How was the freezer lasagna? I keep one in the freezer for "those nights". Throw in a salad and an extra veggie and its not *that* bad of a meal.
 
Hey Kate! Not feeling shrimpy today. We bought frozen shrimp for the jambalaya but it was too much and it was all frozen together. So we defrosted it all but we had to use it sooner than we planned. Therefore, I had to have shrimp twice today.

I do use a salt spray for my nose but not regularly. It does help when I do use it. How was your workout?

Workout was good. Nice to do it again. I've never used salt spray - can;t bring myself to do it!!! Does it sting like a *&(*&(&(!?
