MMA Boxing for me today.:)I love it, but triceps are sore from yesterday. I think I'm gonna FEEL this workout .;)

Snow on the way !!! it sounds like a storm and they delayed local schools 2 hours (LAST NIGHT !) but from what I can see, no snow yet !! :p
Wonder if we'll really get any . We keep being right on the edge of anything big.

Wendy- I don't really want the storm, but since it's coming, I'm going to make the best of it !!!! I'm getting my work done early and then the rest of the day I am goofing off ! Watching movies, wii'ing, reading & knitting today !!!;) and praying my family & friends are safe on the road today!!!

hi kate. yday was my 2nd time on 40/20. i love it!! watch the knee though:p

finn is coughing up a storm but no fever. appetite is good. do i send him? i have soooo much i have to get done, but i could always hire a sitter i guess:confused: hmmm. will see after breakfast. wo today depends on finn - either a run or ccc. bbl

did i mention JJ was up at 5:20 this am? yuck. good thing hes cute! had a boiled egg and now im drinking my coffee. for some reason im just not that hungry this morning.

nina, i find first thing in the am is the worst for coughs and such and a few hrs later we often feel better...can you see how he is in awhile or do you have to drop off/decide right away?

kate, your menu looks fab! been inapasta mood and lasagna soundsgood. i have wh wheat lasagna noodles sitting inmy pantry closet, too, hmmm...no lf cheese on hand tho.

katie, i remember those days of file review, not myfavorite thing, being reviewed or when i was the reviewer, but like we always said -- if it isnt documented it didnt happen!

becky, i will also pray for eeryone to be safe on the roads...

Good Morning Everyone!

Today's workout was MMA Boxing. I added on the blast from KM and used 1 pound weighted gloves. It is a fun workout, I just wish it was more intense. The abs were tough since my core was still sore from Tuesday. Last night it took me over an hour an to get home from my meeting. Glad I don't have to do that too often.

Katie, sorry about af but now you can keep practicing.
Wendy, how did your recipe turn out last night? It looks good.
Kate, good plan for I to prevent the tears. I hope it works. In terms of microwaving, I am really torn. I don't use it much at home but at work it is so convenient.
Nina, sorry about finn's cough. I hope it goes away so he can go to school.
Becky, enjoy your goof off day. We are supposed to get the snow tomorrow but I will be at home waiting for my mattress.
Lisa, anything you make is better than getting dinner on the run. At least you can make it healthier.

Re the micro - you could do cold stuff for lunch (meats, veggies, cheese, fruit) or take food that you warmed at home and put it in "keep hot" containers. I send a lot of stuff for Gina to school in those things and she says it's always good. I fill them w/ water from our "instant hot tap" (or you could boil it), pour it in the container, close the lid. Let it sit a bit to warm up. Dump out the water and put your hot food in it. HTH!

Kate, great plan for I, let us know how it works. I'd love to try the step class, but I have tap on Monday nights. It's at 7:15, so I don't think a 6:15 class in GL will work. But, if it's on another night, let me know. Or, I can skip a tap class or two. Just not too close to the recital.

Colleen, are you excited about your new mattress? Great work out.

Wendy, 5:20 is far too early. Did you explain that to him?

Nina, how is finn? did you send him to school? I keep forgetting to tell you I'm reading Shadow of the Wind. Wow. Where did you hear about it? the flow of the language is just amazing, especially for a translation.

Hi Robin, Clintonya, Klaudia andAngie! Wow, that wasn't even reverse alpha order. Oh, well!

I did Athletic Step last night. I really liked it, but for some reason it was harder for me to pick up the moves than Step Moves. Oh, well, practice will make perfect, right? I'm going to do 1RMs for back and triceps tonight and then I have tap class. I'm thinking Cardio Core Circuit tomorrow or Saturday, depending what time I get up tomorrow. Has anyone tried that one?

Anne, MOndays are the only night they have step only. The other nights theey inc weights - been to those classes - yuck. The 615 class is 40 mins long - not sure where your tap is if you could make it. But that's prob a lot of leg work in one night!:eek:

Hey girlies! Got my workout done-50 minute incline/speed walk on the treadmill. Eats are good-hoping they stay that way. My parents and grandma are coming over for Orthodox Christmas in a bit and bringing this: http://images.chron.com/blogs/cookstour/archives/burek.jpg It's kinda like spanakopita and it's delicious! Oh and my mom made bread pudding! Arrgh!

thanks for all thw well wishes for my little guy. he ate a great breakfast and was okay going to school, and even perkier at pickup!! i got some errands done and a run outside. eats were good until i had some cookies with the kids. in my defense, they were kashi oatmeal dk choc, but still, too many:mad: i also did ccc. i think that is harder than hiit pyraimid! it was a great wo, but why is it a circuit? i thought a circuit included weights? hmmm.

kate, i will have to try 30/30 soon.

robin, sometimes it is nice to break out of work at lunch time.

anne, how many days a week do you do tap? shadow of the wind was so gripping i thought. i read it, then reread it. soooo good.

Hi Everyone!

I have read a couple of reviews of Tracey's new KB workout and now I am regretting not buying it. I guess it is motivation for me to clean out some of my old workouts and sell them. I decided to follow the 1 in 1 out rule for workouts. I have an entire shelf I never do anymore (I did them so much I just don't like doing them).

Kate, yeah for no tears but sorry she didn't want to go. When it is warmer I bring salads, but my office is a freezer so I like having something warm for lunch. I look into your suggestion or maybe a hot plate or hot pot.
Anne, I thought AS was easier than SM. Maybe you were just having an off night. CCC is a good intense workout.
Clintonya, sorry about the busy day.
Robin, I hate it when I leave my lunch at home.
Nina, glad finn survived school. I guess CCC is circuit because you break for core work.
Klaudia, your dinner looks so good and fattening. I hope you can keep your portions small.
