BUSY BUSY BUSY weekend planned for me and my crew! Collin's birthday is Monday (he turns 3!), and we are having a small family party for him on Sunday afternoon.

Tomorrow, I have to take Collin to get fitted for his tuxedo (he is the ring bearer for my best friend's wedding in April!), then we have to go grocery shopping and probably to Costco to get party food.

We also need to start shopping for a suit for Chris to wear for our wedding -- we are looking for a khaki suit, any suggestions?

Sunday I will probably spend most of my time cleaning and getting ready for the party. There will be LOTS of cake and ice cream, and I intend to have some! SO THERE! I will post pictures of the birthday boy.

And of course Monday marks Week One, Day One of my 12 week challenge -- what should I call it, "Operating Wedding Dress" ???:p Workouts and clean eating will get really serious in the coming weeks.

I'm hope my new DVDs come today.
Yesterday my eating was terrible. One of my friends mom is in the hospital. When she got the call I did not like what my friend said. She said "I have to leave to see about my mother and I hope that she is not faking to get my attention". CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!:eek:

I found out later that her mom was in congested heart failure. I can not understand why she are so cold to their own mother and my friend lives with her mother. Anyway I ate non-stop yesterday junk food mixed with clean food.

Today I feel like an elephant so I have to shape up my menu for the weekend.

Katie sorry about the problems with the shower. This often happens. My sister and my best friend faught for three months over nothing.It's hard to plan things with people who are procrastinators.
She is just waiting for the last minute which is not fair to the guest and you.
 
Good Morning,

I'm kind of feeling down in the dumps, not sure why. It's not TTOM, just got over that. I just feel like crying. Life goes on, my workout was a total body strength workout and I have to practice the new round for TK. My DS and I have to go to the college today to finally finish the study. Our appt. kept getting cancelled due the bad weather.

Robin, I'm sorry you ate a lot of junk yesterday. Drink lots of water, get in a good workout. Today's a new day and you'll do better today. Some people can be so insensitive to others; add them to your prayers.

Katie, Collin is going to look too cute in a tux! It's great to hear how much you enjoy being a Mom and the things you plan for him. Kudos!

Morning clean peeps!

I'm still feeling crappy today, but better, only did CS yesterday, gave the old body a break, but i ended up cleaning everything in my house and walking in the cold! Going to try to do BM2, cardio only today, and lift tomorrow i think.

Katie, are you making Colin's cake? Give us all the details, its going to be sooo cute!

Robin, working with patients, you would be so surprised how family is treated! Mother's day is the biggest ER day here, because kids only visit on this day, and realize their mothers/fathers are failing at home, they NEVER check any other time of the year!!

It's Friday!!!! I can't wait for the weekend!

Katie, sorry about the shower drama. I generally avoid planning them at all costs. I did have to help my mom plan my sister's baby shower and my husband asked me to plan another shower for his best friend. That one was messy because someone was trying to plan it but she wasn't doing anything, so I planned with his friend's mother. It ended up being nice but it was very aggravating working with someone who did not care.
Robin, I can't believe anyone would say that about their mother! Hope you can keep it clean today

Busy AM for me and Isabel. Will bbl. Funeral in a little bit. My youngest sis's friend's mom died. Super sad. I've met her once but the friend has been to our house a lot and my sis is really shook up so I feel like we should go.

Good morning/afternoon again ladies!

Thanks for all the support with the SD (Shower Drama)!! It has gotten worse today, but hopefully it will all die down pretty soon and blow over. I just HATE conflict like this! I am a nervous person as it is, and I deal with a lot of anxiety issues, and this kind of stuff is NOT good for me! I can barely eat or sleep, but I did manage to get thru a whole cardio workout this morning (LIC cardio blast, a favorite) without interuptions. A good sweaty cardio session is sooooooo good for the mind, body, and SOUL!

Forcing down my tuna and crackers now -- I don't want to eat, nothing sounds good to me. Weight was down again this morning -- 133.
 
Robin, what DVDs did you order? I must have missed that post...

Shirl, sorry to hear you are so blue -- me too. I will promise to pull myself out of it and move on for a good weekend if you promise to do the same!

Steph, sorry about yesterday, hope you feel better today! Enjoy BM2 -- that always lifts my spirits (and heart rate)!

Colleen, what's on tap for your weekend? Hopefully not WORK! We should get together some time when life calms down. You are totally invited to my wedding reception on June 7th (and that goes for ALL you ladies, but, ya know...)

Kate, sorry to hear you have a funeral to attend. Are you getting a baby bump at all? Glad to hear you had a good workout yesterday -- I haven't done C&W in FOREVER!
 
Steph, sorry, forgot to answer your question re: Collin's cake. No, I am not making it. We are ordering from Ukrop's supermarket, a Richmond, VA grocery store that has the BEST and I mean BEST cakes. I made his cake when he turned one and it was soooooo stressful!

I ordered tons of cute stuff for this summer. I've never been preg in the summer before and I can't wait to wear cute sundresses with my belly sticking out!

Kate, I didn't show until I was about 18-20 weeks with my second. My belly popped much sooner with my third. My SILs' thought I was going to get fat - guess I showed them.

My mood is a little better this evening but I'm still not myself. Praying I shake this soon. Hope y'all have a nice evening. :)

Katie, We took a pic of my belly "Day 1", or when we found out. Planning on doing a monthly pic of my growing waistline. I'm hoping for what you said - muscular bod w/ a cute bump. However, I feel so awful that workouts are nearly impossible and feel like I'm going to be a fat lump. So far I've done 2 circuits this week but that's it. I was so hopeful that I was going to be able to keep up with rotations. Hopefully once this 1st trimester passes I'll be doing better.

Shirl, Glad you're doing a little better. How long has it been since you and DH had a date night? I always get down when its been too long for us.
Fat?! ha! Joke's on them, huh? Good for you! My SIL had a baby last month and asked me yesterday about how to get the weight off. That was HUGE for her. She is very out of shape and gets resentful really easy. I know she's wierd about the time I take to workout but never talks to me about it. I gave her one of my early DVDs to start with. Hopefully she follows thru. I know what its like to be a fat, post-partum mess. It stinks.

Didn't have much dinner. Not working out. I'm not nauseated, thankfully, but I just feel blah. I've got some major preg hormone weepiness. Gonna go crawl into bed with my laptop and some magazines. Hope tomorrow is better.

I'm sorry you're feeling weepy. I'm sure you're going to look adorable pregnant. Do you have FitPregnancy magazine? We took pictures of my growing belly for all my pregnancies. The kids love to look at the albums. I never looked muscular w/ a bump. I had my spaghetti arms and belly. I was actually quite bloated for my last pregnancy. I really didn't feel well; I modified the classes I taught.... big time. Thank God the members didn't mind me telling them what to do rather than show them. I also had terrible varicose veins with all my pregnancies and had to wear prescription maternity hose. DH had to help me put them on and take them off, they were very thick and I had to put a special slipper over my foot to get them started. I had to wear them in the summer too, UGHHH. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Well, that's great that your SIL asked you for advice. Hopefully, she'll try the dvd and ask you for more help if she needs it. Hope your night goes well.
