Trixie I understand about not buying anything new until the 4 day split comes in the mail. I've been waiting for three months.:( I love the high step Challenge & training but the high step circuit is for beginners.

Hi Shirl welcome to our group...tells us about yourself.

w/o Muscle Max and I would love to do the 9 minute Challenge from Rhythmic Step. I'll see how much energy I have LOL.

b- whole wheat pancakes :9 :9 not so clean but different
s- fruit smoothie 1 cup (blueberries and strawberries)
l- turkey and salad
d- pork tenderloin and warm apples slices (no sugar I promise :+ )
s- tea

I got Tosca's Cookbook yesterday and it has some interesting recipes. I plan to try 1-2 new recipes a week. She has a good variety of breakfast, soups, salads, one-dish meals, pasta, desserts, and festive meals with clean eating suggestions for the holidays (lowfat gravy, clean stuffing, etc.).

Here's the plan for today:
no w/o - much needed rest day
b: egg whites w/ ww toast
l: tbd
s: fruit
d: shrimp jambalaya

Hello Robin and Colleen!!

Well, i'm miserable, and its only day 4! I'm only taking 2 painkillers a day as well, so i keep telling myself its getting better...but i'm lying to myself i think. I dont know if i'll be able to return to the same intensity as before either.

Yesterday, i did ok, until i ate like 200 carob covered raisins...
Today:

B: oatmeal usual
s; strawberries
l: mushroom barley soup, veggies and hummus, egg whites/1/2 cup oatmeal, organic natural yogurt with 1 tbsp almond butter
d: i'm going out for raw vegan food!! i'll update you all tomorrow! Talk about a clean dinner

Colleen, enjoy your rest day, i'm on rest day 4!! Have you ever taken a week? I've been reading a lot of posts about this.
Robin, i love pancakes!! Good for you making whole wheat ones!!
I'm off to mope....and try to vaccuum.

Steph are you suppose to be vaccuuming? It's going take some time befor your back to get better. At least give yourself two to three weeks. Rest for now.

New recipes...yay.

Guess what girls my oven went out and now have to have the Sears repair man come...$75 off the bat.:-(

So for now I have to stew everything becaus the top of the stove works but not the oven.

Thank you for welcoming me to the check in. :)

A little bit about me - I'm 39 y/o, married 15 years, 3 children, DS-11 y/o, DS-9 y/o & DD-7 y/o. I was overweight as a teen. I lost 50 lbs. by exercising and learning to make healthy food choices and portion control. I did not go on a "diet". I was 19 y/o when I started my exercise journey and it took me almost 2 years to lose 50lbs. I have kept it off except for these last stubborn pounds (8lbs) since the birth of my DD who is 7!!! I tend to eat when I'm not hungry and have a weakness for homemade goodies, dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

Today has been a tidy day but I wouldn't say clean. I'm working on that. I know I feel better the 'cleaner' I eat. Oh, today is a rest day for me.
