Hi C & T Peeps.
What's the plans for this smooth Sunday.I was able to sleep well last night.

My w/o will be MIS (all weight training) and maybe a walk.

Menu:
B-Kashi
S-Yogurt and Berries
L- Salad and Tuna
S-Light popcorn
D-lean stew beef and baby carrots
S-fruit

I'm going to try to not to eat carbs after 5 pm this week to see if I can leave this darn plateau and drop 2#.

Plently of fluids

Good morning Robin and all peeps who follow. That's a good idea about the carbs, maybe I should try that. Although, dinner last night certainly wouldn't have followed that guidline. A bunch of us went out to dinner to celebrate a VERY good horse show last night and, I will admit, it was not even close to being clean or tidy :9. Eek, that makes two days in a row! I've got to get my arse in shape for Friday. I wanted to be a bit leaner for my
pseudo-RT but at this point it doesn't look like that is going to happen x(.

Thank you everyone for your kind words with regards to my "unfortunate incident". It means a lot.

I'm trying again for squeaky clean and, if I'm not too wiped out after work today, I'm going to try to get back on the August rotation with B&G...or maybe some kick-butt cardio today (to work off dinner) and B&G tomorrow. Today's menu will be my usual althoug I'm going to try to cut one of the fruit servings out to cut down on some of my carbs.

B - spinach and mushroom egg white omelette
S - steel cut oats with blueberries
L - salad with tuna, nat PB on 1 slice Ezekiel, cherries(???)
S - cottage cheese, banana
D - asian turkey burger (no buns), grilled veggies, steamed broccoli
Going to try for no dessert.

I GOT 7.5 HOURS OF SLEEP LAST NIGHT! And I feel amazing! I havent't slept that much in over a month. Mufasa stayed quiet all night. Hurray!!!!

Good luck on the no-carbs plan girls! I notice a TREMENDOUS difference cutting out carbs. They make me look 3 mos. preg.

Currently I'm slogging down the first of my water for the day.
b - wheat chex/banana
l - out to eat! salad w/ grilled chicken most likely
d - not sure! probably romaine, Gala apple, dried sweet cherries, no dressing, peaunuts ---- DH wants me to grill bratwurst. I can't even eat a whole one. It amkes my mouth feel like a greasy sponge. One bite tastes good then no more after that. Actually, right now even 1 bite sounds gross.

Not sure on snacks today. Won't be able to have a morning one since church is this morning. I'll be extra hungry by lunch for sure.

Last night I did LowMax. I forgot how much I loved this one. Tonight will be weights but not sure what. Slow and Heavy for sure, but can't decide which one to do.

Kate, isn't it funny how hungry church makes you? On a normal day, I have no trouble going until lunchtime. On Sundays, my stomach starts growling during Sunday School. It's embarassing during church!

Wendi, sometimes life calls for a break. Glad you had a good show.

Robin J, I slept well last night too. It was a bit cooler here. I only remember waking up once last night. Isn't it amazing the difference it makes?

B-fast - almond butter and jelly on ww eng muffin, banana
Lunch - leftover shrimp taco thingie from last night's dinner, carrots, berry salad
Snack - nectarine, cherries
Dinner - probably a PB&J. We are going to a baseball game this evening and won't have time for a proper sit down dinner. Oh, and there will probably be peanuts and a beer at the game.

No workout today. There won't be time with the ball game tonight.
I saw a post about soybutter yesterday. Sorry, it slips my mind who mentioned it. I'll have to give it a try. Soy is supposed to help reduce hot flashes and my soy intake is pretty hit and miss.

Looks like everyone is doing really well!
I'm home alone as i mentioned, DH is at the cottage, and i cant stop eating! Really, i clearly have an emotional eating problem. I think i'm also getting nervous about the road trip, i'm not sure, but something.

today is my 'rest' day, so i did Barr method. And walked with my doggy for an hour or so. I booked a massage for noon so i can stop eating for an hour!

Today:
B: usual oatmeal
s: ccheese, strawberries....then got into the almond butter jar I needn't say anymore!
hang head in shame....

Hi Everyone!

I am back from the beach. My eating was not clean at all, but I did make some better choices when I could. My goal was to relax and have fun, so I didn't stress when they didn't put my dressing on the side or pass up the nachos that someone ordered.

Wendi - so sorry to hear about your break-in. You should check ebay to see if your stuff shows up there. My husband found someone who was stealing from his friend's store by checking ebay for the unique items he stole. They forwarded this information to the police and the kid was arrested. This kid had robbed the store 4 times before he was caught.

Here's my plan for the clean part of the day:

L - McD's Southwest salad
S - grapes, popcorn
D - Crabs, salad

Steph emotional eating is a problem for me too.This is why I try not to have too much chocolate icecream in the house. I read that when this happens, brush your teeth and allow yourself to feel the emotion. You can also call someone and talk about how you feel.I wish that I had more advice.

Kate - I'm glad you're a bit more rested. Your dinner salad sounds DELISH :9...I should try that one!

Steph - Is it TTOM for you by any chance? I know that the week leading up to it is when I go on an eating spree. I just try to keep it all as clean as possible.

Robin - You always know the right thing to say to cheer people up :+. Thank you!

Colleen - I'm glad you had a great getaway! Thanks for the ebay tip...I would never have thought of that. I did run over there and searched and searched but to no avail ;(. Oh well...

I didn't end up working out this afternoon because I got home later than expected and noticed that my lawn needed mowing so I guess I'll just turn in early and try to squeeze it in at some point tomorrow between work, lunch plans, insurance and police report fun, and hair appointment. Yowza...so much for my day off :eek:.

Late checkin' in for me!! Had a great meal last night for the anniversary celebration... again! LOL I had the salmon, mushrooms, and a big plate of salad. I had none of their famous rolls but did have a bite of the brownie dessert they brought out for our anniversary. It was all awesome!!

Exercise was a 17 mile bike w/ my buddies early this morning before church.

Liquids ~ 80 oz water, 2 cups of coffee

Breakfast ~ Usual oatmeal + berries, yogurt

Lunch ~ Homemade sloppy joe on light flatbread; big salad w/ romaine, cucumbers, broccoli, & tomatoes w/ olive oil & red wine vinegar, 1 T. sunflower seeds

Could feel a migraine coming on, didn't feel well & slept a good 3 hrs!!

Snack/ dinner ~ Usual oatmeal + berries

So.... not enough really. I'll eat another snack in a bit but just no apettite. I guess that's ok someday though! ;-)
