Good morning all,

Got up and got my WO in this morning (30/30 and core max 2) and it was really good. My abs are feeling it! I love core max. Today is basically a study day. Girls are at school for lunch and I will take a short study break to go out to lunch and wander around our little town with MIL.

From last night:

Colleen, ugh about the weird friend. People like that are just struggling like crazy with insecurity!! Eat french fries if you want to eat french fries.

Nina, I'm sorry you're continuing to struggle. What's going on? How do you feel "yucky?" I hope today is better for you!

Kate, WTG on your late night WO! I have a feeling those will be in my future once I start working! I'm hoping to add a spin bike and ellip to my collection!

Becky, sounds like a nice relaxing day. How is DH? Sorry about the McD's drink. I know they're not great for you and even though I rarely had them, I REALLY miss Starbucks.

Lisa, glad DS's foot is ok but have to LOL about yoga. :) Sorry about low patience with the kids w/o DH! YUM on mini cheesecakes.

Anne, HOW DID IT GO???

So, Ryan is reading this book that I fear may permanently turn us into vegetarians until we can get back and get organic/grass fed beef. Gross and more gross.

My weekend was good - I got in a few short workouts but mostly just a lot of BD'ing:p There was a lot of EWCM, 2 pretty dark lines on my OPKs saturday and sunday, and pain on my left side yesterday afternoon. I feel pretty good about our chances this month - now the 2ww begins!

I stayed up waaaayyyyyy too late last night. After my QT with Chris, we watched some of this show on National Geographic called Sizing Up Sperm - I'm sorry if it sounds gross, but it's really interesting. We went to bed at 12:30 am, woke up at 5:30 am - not enough sleep! I will do my wo tonight after work.

Big day ahead! Today is Gina's actual bday - my baby girl is EIGHT! How did that happen?! I'm going to her class today to read a book to them - I can't wait! Tonight we go to PF Chang's for dinner - her choice! Girl's got good taste!

Eats will be clean today! My tum is UPSET to say the least from all of our weekend indulgences!:eek::eek:

I need to figure out a WO plan! I'm kinda burnt out on GS. I want to start MEso 1 but I don't know if I really want to lift weights for an hour at a time!:confused: I wouldn't be able to do it until after the kids go to bed and I don't feel like I have it in me to do it that late right now. Might do Meso 2. I'd also love to redo Insanity but I'm not sure if my knee would love it. Too many options!

omigoodness, so glad that weekend is over. TGIM!! super busy with all the kids here, and when i say kids i mean 4 boys bigger than my dh stumbling around!! also, idk why but we have been arguing more lately and i hate it =( just want it to stop.

eats could have been much worse this weekend but they weren't lovely either. i am back on the wagon as of y'day, which was pretty clean. today is
b - hardboiled egg, coffee
l - oatmeal, pecans, apples
d - br rice cali rolls

went to step fri and KB sat. today is step again if i can find a break in the downpours. there is flooding all around my area from all the rain! hopefully i can stick to the game plan. i have been fluctuating with the same 5 lbs for months and making no progress. injuries had an impact but my WOs have been awesome lately and I need the eating to take it to the next level. DH is back on day shift until we leave but it still 12 hr shifts plus driving so he's gone 15-16 hrs a day. the good news on that is I HAVE to walk to the gym and for errands again. he was insisting on driving me places in the bad weather and that did not have a good effect on me. im def not blessed in metabolism dept and NEED the extra movement to keep me a-burnin'!!!

Hi girls!

Am I glad it's Monday! After the rough week I had, I am ready for a fresh start! I didn't work out at all last week and then started feeling sick on Friday night at my dad's b-day party-which was a blast-he was totally surprised and cried! Saturday I got even worse-chills, aches, etc. and we had two parties on opposites sides of town. Darrin ended up bringing me home from the one near our house at 9 pm. I crawled into bed and didn't get out til 11 am Sunday morning. Luckily for me, my mom and dad were here and Danica had a blast being my nurse:) Back to the daily grind today-girls had a tough time getting up but Milla was giggling ALL morning so that's a good sign! I need to do laundry, and we have dance/Daisies tonight:)

Angie, I'm so out of the loop I didn't even know your in-laws were visiting! Enjoy your time with MIL and great workout! Is Ryna reading the Omnivore's Dilemma? I want to sign up at a local CSA-it's the only certified organic farm in our county!

Good morning everyone!

I am still adjusting to daylight savings. I feel like I am at work way too early. Dragged myself out of bed this morning and started Meso 3. Today was disc 25 chest and back. I had to wimp out on the deadlifts because my lower back is tight and bothering me a little. I will do some stretching tonight.

Klaudia, sorry about the illness and the inebiated woman. That is the worse.
Becky, glad DH is feeling better. Is he still going to the dentist?
Wendy, you are lucky that you are forced to walk. I need to do more walking during the day. I feel like a blob behind this desk all day.

Deep sigh; aaaahhhhhh. What a lovely weekend! TCB arrived Thursday evening and I made him dinner. It turns out no one ever cooks for him, he always cooks for other people, so that was nice. We went to the local university campus and out for coffee and around the city where I live. We went out for coffee again and we baked cookies and we went to the planetarium for a star show. We watched a movie and drank some wine and ate some chocolate. I never bake, so making cookies was really fun, we made oatmeal chocolate chip, which are my favorite. I don't know what we were thinking, though, we made like 4 dozen! I sent a bunch home with him and there are still a bunch in my kitchen. I may bring them into work, but then people will ask about it and I'm not telling!

So it was really fun and we had a great time, but unfortunately we also realized what we have is an impossible situation. Between his schedule and his kids and my schedule and my parents plus the geography--well, it's just not going to work. And that's fine; I wasn't expecting anything, really, it's just been really fun to think about, kwim? We'll still talk and his work may bring him to MI at some point in the future and if it does he'll let me know.

I haven't caught up on the thread yet, I'll do that and bb for personals. Happy Monday, everybody!

Yesterday flew by on me and somehow it ended up being 9:30!!! It being tax time is probably not helping! Hope everyone had a good Sunday! Got to get payroll done -will bbl to catch up.

My w/o is done. I did 45min ellip and 75 kbell swings. It feels good to be back on the w/o wagon amd I have to remember to workout when I'm blue.

Girls! Where'd everybody go!?!!

Having such a nice day! Got Julia down for a nap, wrapped presents, did CS Ath Intense Stretch (aaahhhh!) and now Im finishing up some chores. I'll pick up DDs from school in a bit and then we're going shopping for Gina to spend some bday money at the mall. Then dinner at PF Chang's. Can't wait! We'll come home, open presents, get them to bed and I'm going to start MEso1. Realistically it will only be 2 nights a week that I'll be working out at night since I'm only going to do STS for UB. I'll do Barre and some other things for LB or even STS LB on a Saturday or Sunday. Doable, I hope!
 
boy am i behind!! where di the day go? i got up super early and ran. i felt marginally better than yday, so that is good - managed 10 miles. lots of errands today, home for lunch, family drama:rolleyes:, then some good core and yoga. luckily i am with my boys, my eats are fine, and i am ignoring my family. BUT, just to vent, let me say i am not manipulative or rude or mean or crazy! i have been called several of those today by people who ARE all of those things. funny, huh:eek:

anne, what a bittersweet weekend!! dh and i did long distance for 3 yrs before marriage. just sayin'

robin, exercise is good when blue, esp walks with friends!! wish i could power walk with ya!

kate, ikwym about sts and managing that time committment. i like the program, but an hour+ is a lot all at once. unless running:p have fun with the girls.

clintonya, hope you get all caught up!

angie, how cool you and your mil wo together. i would be a stress case trying to travle and study!! you amaze me. do try to give yourself a break, though, if possible. i am not sure what has been going on with me otherthan exhaustion. i feel more tired than those 8 weeks post child birth. i am going to just try to get more rest and cut back exercise and talk to my doc if no better in 2 weeks.

colleen, what is buff smoothie? just curious.

wendy, sorry for arguing with dh. is the upcoming travel worrisome for you guys? that was really hard on dh and i. enjoy your walking. you do an awesome job.

klaudia, that sounds like an awful flu bug you got. i am really sorry. glad you are better today.

Amazing what the sun can do for your mood! I got lots done today-cleaning, laundry, vacuumed, and just finished day one of c25k:) Gonna do abs tonight!

Colleen, way to go on Meso 3! I should be starting sometime next week:eek: And I'm looking forward to being done with STS too! I want to go back to shorter body part splits.
