Klaudia, I'm totally the same way - bfast and lunch - no probs at all! Dinner is when it starts to get bad, partially b/c of Ryan and partially b/c of the fact that I'm usually hungry! Ugh...

anne, yes i did go swiom, and it was good for me, esp as my mom called to say she was coming over to take a nap in my driveway. ummm, okay, you can come in my house! sometimes i get manipulated so bad!!

pattie, what a fun morning. we went out in the rain just to get out.

angie, great job with your day! see you in the am.

swim done, my mom and aidan are napping, i am going to go do some core and lb while watching something silly on tv. also got a few errands in.bbl
 
WO done! It was Athletic Step Jam- Sharon Money Twombley. She must be married to that CIA guy. It kicked my bootie- didn't look that hard but wow. Maybe I was just out of gas today. I did all 3 combos (which were a bit loooong) and actually skipped the very end where she puts all 3 together- I was just wiped out. She also has a bonus stability ball cardio section but I didn't try it today. Anyway, it was a fun step workout. Robin you know you need it! :p

Klaudia: Max has a problem with the apple cinnamon pretzels (meaning he shoves the whole thing in his mouth at once) and Mags will only eat the plain ones. :rolleyes: I refuse to buy any with cheese or I will EAT THEM ALL. :eek: And yes, I hang out with my parents quite a bit- I'm an only child and fairly close to them.

Morris: Glad you got out for that swim, especially with a bit of FD going on too.

Anne: What did you have for lunch? I need some food porn! :eek:

But, be forewarned. The pictures are better than the food, I think. I've tried a couple recipes that I've seen there now and they don't always turn out as good as they sound. I'll be much more picky in the future.

For lunch I had.....drum roll, please.......3 cheese chicken nachos from Qdoba. Don't hate me because I eat beautiful food. I know, I know, but at least it has quite a few veggies since I have them pile on the salsa. Both hot and mild. Yum.

Klaudia, where do you get those things? Do they carry them at Meijer?

Katie - Good job on the run and while on vaca!
Kate - My Sunday was busy also. Out all day and now I feel like I need a recoup from my weekend! WTG on doing the whole disc! Isn't running addicting? I'm nowhere near Morris speed, but I love it.
Angie - I love PUB. I haven't done it in awhile, but maybe I will this week.
Robin - I had the same eating weekend as you. Either hardly ate or ate not that great.
Morris - Sorry about the pending FD. That would be really stressful. I also say go for the sitter. You need a break and totally deserve it.
Klaudia - I'm sure you'll be down the 2lbs in no time.

Okay gotta make this quick since my baby is wanting to nurse before her nap. Yesterday started off great then ended terribly with the eats. I took a rest day yesterday. Today is GS CT, but I think I'm going to do PUB instead. We'll see. Anyway, I am working from home today. BBL.

core and legs done. i am just wiped out. swimming makes me feel like a noodle. but i kind of like it. eats are clean! was hopnig to go walk the dog again, but, surprise surprise, it is pouring again. survuved my mom's visit. i alternate between being frustrated with her and then sad for her. gets me all twisted. thankfully, i have my babies to turn my focus on.

We just came in off the beach - 6 hours was enough for me. Lounging around the house now, the outto dinner in a bit. Eats have been ok - notterrible forthe beach. No potato chip sandwiches - YET!

Not sure what I will do for a WO tomorrow - a kickbox DVD? Plyo? Walk on the beach? What plyo moves can I do without equipment?
 
Morris - We must have been posting at the same time, lol! I feel your frustration with your mom. Isn't it funny how family can make you feel that way? I get annoyed with my family then feel guilty later for feeling that way. WTG on the wos. I like swimming for an overall body wo. Where do you swim at?

Morris: WTG on clean eats with a bit of FD! Also, that's a lot of working out in one day woman! You go! Working is erm, boring. I should be doing that now. Le sigh.

Katie: I am printing out my plyo leg routine for the week- let's see, plyo jacks, squat jumps, squat half turns, rock climbers on the floor, one legged hops w/ switching legs, squat thrusts, one legged squat thrusts, tuck jumps. How's that?? :eek:

Patti - My ankle is a lot better, but it's def not 100% and I don't know why. I can feel it after I run and when I turn it certain ways. I try to go slow on downhills on my run so it doesn't put too much impact, but we'll see. How is your day going? I have been trying to stay away from the kitchen.

Robin - I remember the Firm dvds!

P is down for her nap and I'm working...and taking breaks on here! I think I will do PUB tonight.

Workout is done even though I don't think Nevena ever fell asleep:( This better not become a habit with her. Thank goodness Danica was around just in case! SS was ok-not very leg heavy. It could use one more round-I'll have to check out the premixes next time.

Patti, we've had the cinnamon ones-there's so much cinnamon, the kids think it's chocolate! I love hanging with my parents too but lately it's been tough-they've both got a whole hosts of health issues and it's not much fun:( It makes me sad.

Anne, I love your meals! Last weekend I had chicken chimichangas and nachos and salsa from a place called Poncho's by our house-total dive but yummy! Especially with a margarita to go with!

Lisa, check the OD-someone was asking about living in HI and I told them about you. Angie and I were saying the same thing-days start off great and then deteriorate. Hope you get your workout in.

Morris, those pretzels are great for emergencies! Or treats:) I feel the same way about my mom. I miss the woman who would stay up late and watch movies over the phone with me, go antiquing and to garage/estate sales looking for treasures, pore over design magazines and make decorating plans. I miss her so much. Now she has me looking at ways to solve all her health problems-not fun, but I can't say no.

Katie, thanks for the vote of confidence! Do either one! For plyo you can do all the non weighted stuff from STS or mix it with some body weight stuff for upper body-try walking lunges in the sand, push ups, dips, etc. If there's a beach park you can do this workout too: http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/swing-lunge or this:

Klaudia, I hear ya. I desperately miss my old mom. Especially right now. If I go into specifics, I'll start bawling my head off, so I'm going to leave it at that.

Heading home soon. I'm running 5 miles with my running buddy. Should be fun!

Killing time waiting for my neighbor to come home and I just figured out that with the breakfast her kids eat-poptart and oj and the "snacks" she sends, her kids are getting almost 100 grams of added sugar-the equivalant of 24 teaspoons!! OMG-not a piece of fruit or a veg to be seen. Sigh.
 
klaud, i start crying thinking of all our moms. it is so hard to cxome to grips with their changes and needs. cinammon pretzels sound so good. i'd freak if all that sugar was around my kids so much.

anne, have a great run. my mom was so confused today - days of the week, is it afternoon or morning, etc. so sad.

katie, i love bootcamp cardio only, do it a couple times! do you have any amy bento hi lo? that is great cardio with no equipment.

lisa, sorry the ankle is not 100%. does it feel worse at times?

dinner done here - leftover chick and broc salad for me and aidan, english muffin pizza nd broc salad for finn. i am ready for bed! hoping there is a break in the rain tomorrow so i can mow:( i may run outside with aidan if i cannot face the tm. i just love having my wo done by 6:15am! see you all tomorrow.
