^^^^clean&tidy monday^^^^

I just want to give all of you a great big cyber hug!! I have done nothing but smile every time I check in here today:) It's just what I needed! Thanks for all the support and understanding!

Anne, the kiddos just came in and the sun came out! But the radar looks nasty! So much for getting out to the store tonight.

Morris, a Pure Romance party is one of those in home parties that sell "adult toys" and such. And I am not wasting my money on that! If I go, it'll be for a girls' night out since Darrin's boss is taking him boating and out to dinner. My parents are babysitting on Saturday cause we have a wedding so they might go for the whole weekend.

My coffee is good! And Danica is gathering all the kids to watch a movie and have popcorn! She's on her way to being a great sitter:) I'll have to pay her soon!

Stupid internet here too!! Lost a post!

Angie, Can;t wait to hear about power yoga!
Drive that wagon tomorrow! PUB will help!

Klaudia, Go to the party!!!! If I didnt have to nurse J to sleep I'd make the drive to come with ya!
I don;t WO in the Basement while DDs are outside either. Feels unsafe.

Anne, Its partly sunny here but I can hear your thunder!:D

Morris, I hate hte chlorine smell too!
One sppon of batter is very admirable!! WTG!
I hope Aidan likes the bread/cake!!

I'll be stinky like chlorine tonight too! Going to water aero w/ my 2 youngest sisters after J goes to bed.

Is it 5:30 yet? DDs are being good, but boy do we love it when Daddy comes home!

Man, is our check in busy today! LOL!

Klaudia, Just go to the party to have a good laugh! I've never been to one but I;ve heard they are HILARIOUS!!! Maybe I'll have one for grins!
Danica is being a great big sis!!

Okay, now the sun is out again. I never did work out yesterday, so I'm going to attempt a run tonight. I'll see if it's raining at my house when I get home.

Do you want the good news or the bad news? Oh, wait there is no good news in my life (well, maybe a little). The bad news is my dad fired the company I found to help with my mom. But, their housekeeper has agreed to come more days per week and give her a bath and just generally do stuff with her. So that's good. She has no medical training, but she's very nice and my mom still knows her and she's very caring and will call me if anything is amiss.

The other bad news is Jim's aunt is dying. His mother's youngest and only remaining sibling. We knew she had cancer, so all the kids pooled money and sent her on a cruise on the St. Lawrence Seaway. She got back a week ago and hasn't been out of bed since. She's too weak to move. The cancer has gone into her kidneys and they'll be shutting down shortly. Jim's going to talk to his sister tonight to see if he should try to get out there (Nova Scotia) before she dies. They were telling his mom this afternoon.

I started taking St. Johns Wort to ward off the depression, but I may need something stronger! Like a stiff drink!

I'll stop whining now. I'll be back in the morning. I hope everybody has a good evening!

anne

Ugghhhh, Anne, (((HUGS))))

Angie, I broke my foot (twice!) in a similar way to Morris and TRUST ME, you KNOW when it is broken. My foot swelled to twice it's normal size, was blue, and there was no.freaking.way. I could put weight on it to walk. Gives me chills just remembering....

So much to catch up on! My baby just got home, gotta snuggle, BBL!

kl, lol that we're a popular place!

(((anne))), im so sorry! sjw sounsd like a good idea!

katie, enjoy your little guy!

Klaudia - Those parties are actually pretty funny. I don't spend anything because they are way too expensive for me. Maybe DH will want you to get something fun, lol???

Anne - Oh, I'm so sorry for all that is going on with your family! A great big hug sent over your way all the way from the middle of the Pacific!

Patti - Yes, I'm out here in Hawaii. You'll see that I post way after everyone else. I'm usually snoring away while everyone else is up working out! Are you a morning or evening exerciser?

Kate - I was thinking about needing a schedule just for this week while my kids are home. Thankfully they have Summer Fun next week, but this week I'll have all my kiddos home. Water aerobics remind me of senior citizens for some reason. Have fun!

Morris - Where do you go swimming? I'm thinking of doing laps at a pool also, but I just wish I had one in my backyard instead of needing to drive somewhere. I love how swimming tones your body overall. I used to swim 3-4x/week in college. Good job with the wos and resisting the baked goodies!

Goodnight Angie!!

Kids are home and school is done! I need to do some work from home then I am hitting the park for more running when DH gets home. I'll probably recruit my odd to help me watch the baby in a couple hrs so I can get some ub weights in. Hm....now if I could only figure out what to make for dinner.

Lisa

lisa, we're def the young ones there! most of the women are 50+, 60+. you can take it esy and make it a light wo but we get rather goofy and i get a good wo out of it.
hope you get your wo time in! how nice that dd is so helpful w/ p.:D

I lied. I'm not going to stop whining. It's official, I hate my life. I got home and it was raining and there are tornado watches and a warning, so I decided working out in the basement was a better idea than running outside. Guess what? The basement flooded. And Jim works until 9 on Mondays, plus he has to figure out if he should head to NS, so I didn't want him to deal with it. So I spent an hour with the shop vac and set up the fan and the dehumidifier. Hopefully it will dry overnight. I'm thinking we should just rip up the carpet in that corner of the basement.

I'm really starting to wonder what I did to whom because it must have been horrible. Karma is totally kicking my patootie these days. Remind me to appreciate the little things, please! Did I tell you when my family obligations are done I'm going to run away and join the Peace Corps? Living in a third world country sounds extremely good right now.

Thanks for letting me vent! This would all be so much harder without all of you!

anne

Ah, jeez, Anne! At least you have bad luck or you wouldn't have any luck at all!:p Bad joke, I know. I'm so sorry. That really stinks. I hope tomorrow is brings fantastic news of some sort or another to you.

No water aerobics. Sisters are broke and had no gas money either. So I went to their house and we went for a walk.....where it started POURING and we got totally soaked. So it became a run! But we had a blast. Went back to their place and did some TaeBo. Stopped at the grocery store and now I'm home.:D

Lisa, Are you getting your WO in?:D

Anne: UGH! You're a good person- I think I would have caved and called DH for help!

Kate: Hope swimming was fun- kind of a cool way to spend an evening. ETA: I see how swimming went! Oh well, Tae Bo is fun too. :)

Lisa: I usually workout in the morning but I was getting exhausted so I'm trying to be more middle of the road. I figure getting up 2 or 3 mornings a week is more than enough. The rest of the time I can WO during naptime or if my mom comes over.

Morris: Swimming sounds good- I used to on a swim team and sometimes I miss it.

I made cottage cheese sundried tomato muffins for dinner- much better than it sounds, I promise. I think I got the recipe off of this site, but if not and anyone wants it, just yell and I'll post it. They tasted like baked parmesan cheese muffins- very good. Eats were ON POINT today- so happy. I know I have some work to do to get these pounds back off but I'm hoping since I put them on fast they'll come off fast. Like that logic? Anyway, already feeling more like myself, which is good.

DS figured out how to climb out of his crib tonight. And then over the gate. Le sigh. DH is up there with him now, trying to get him to conk out. Good night everyone!
