katie, the pics are great! thanks for the motivating words too

kate, how was the rest of your sunday?

off to a great start here - got my workout in this am and had a clean breakfast. i will have a clean day too! lots of veggies and god portions. tomorrow , dh and i are doing some shopping together (assuming we are getting along well:)) and the kids will be in school. i simply must get my christmas shopping done. i will bake on wednesday and will feel better with things under control.

bbl everyone!

Morning! Sorry I didn't get back over the weekend. I ended up doing a lot of catch up around the house, and then a WHOLE lot of lounging. I never got out of pyjamas yesterday--after my shower I just put a clean set on. It was great, though, we had an all day fire (an intentional one, in the fireplace), then we roasted a leg of lamb and made rosemary roasted potatoes and asparagus. It was good, except the lamb took way longer to cook than I thought it would, so the potatoes were kind of overdone. Oh well, we'll know better for next time, right?

I am happy to report that I worked out 5 days last week--one total body strength, three cardios, a circuit, and two tap classes. So, that was a good week. I'm going to try to repeat it this week.

Katie, great pictures! Did Collin have fun with Santa?

Kate, what deliciousness are you eating today?

Morris, have fun shopping. I hope you and DH are getting along. It's no fun when there's tension in the house.

Hi to everyone I missed! I'll try to get back later.

anne

anne, great job with the workouts last week! enjoy a clean day.

colleen, all step is one of the best step workouts i think.

hi robin - i want kettlebells:)

okay, someone brought cashews to work. while it is an okay snack and wayyy better than carby cookie things, i need to stop grabbing 1 or 2 nuts here and there!

morris, cashews are an absolute weakness for me! try to think about everybody's germy hands dipping in the same bowl!:p

anne, sounds like things are going good for you and dh. ^5 on the wo's!

colleen, good planning on the wo's! have fun training,....yeah right!

klaudia, how are the girls?
angie, how is FRANCE??!!

Darn it!! I just lost my whole post:( And it was long, too. I'll try and do the personals again at nap time. Planning on either the GS or CTX something or other today, not sure yet. Yesterday was a wash-I was trying to keep the girls quiet so Darrin could get some sleep. Poor man worked from 11:30 Saturday morning til 6:30 Sunday morning! I did make dinner-lazy turkey stroganoff which I'm sure will be even tastire today for Darrin's lunch. And we made "break and bake" cookies, too! So it's back on the Monday wagon today with the eats.

I'll be back in a bit:)

b-kashi w/raspberries
s-apple, string cheese
l-?
s-?
d-salmon, sauteed spinach, roasted potatoes

Hey ladies, sorry about not getting back again this morning to post. Laptop battery died...

I fell out of the Clean & Tidy Tree, and hit every branch on the way down, this weekend. I feel bloated and disgusting today. WO was MIC warm up and hi/lo, did not care for this as much as IMAX on Saturday. I still need to try to step portion.

Eats are back on track today -- cereal, apple, turkey sandwich now, chicken salad for dinner tonight. Trying to eat as many fibrous fruits and veggies as I can stomach to get things moving along. I know it's water retention but it feels awful! Oh yes, and LOTS of water (and LOTS of peeing, sorry TMI!).

Thanks for all the comments on the pictures -- Collin was actually very badly behaved on Saturday and it was quite disappointing to Mommy:( Oh well, hope he gets it together soon cause Santa has already wrapped all of his presents!

Will try to do better on personals tomorrow!

Klaudia, I hate to lose posts!!! Darrin must've been so tired! I don't blame him for not liking this time of year! Yikes! The cookies sound great!! I want to make some cookies but I don't want to becasue I don't want to be tempted by them. There's a bake sale at preschool tonight - I made a loaf of homemade bread - want to make cookies too,but.....ugh! Your dinners always sound so good!

Katie, Sorry about Collin! Our girls have been a little ornery with eachother lately. ROFL about the clean tree!!! That was the funiest thing I read in a long time! Good job climbing back up the tree today!

-------
My lunch was clean but wierd - leftover smorgasbord. I hate those...but I hate to leave leftovers that will get thrown out.

Ha Katie! The image in my head of you falling made me laugh-and totally sympathize! I hear ya on the behavior thing. I've been telling the girls that Satna's watching-it works well with the 6 year old and the still believes 9 year old, but the toddler? Pshaw, she's gonna give Santa what for, let me tell you.

Kate, I was going to tell you to have Mike eat the englsih muffins;) I always make Darrin the default garbage man who eats all the too ripe fruit, bread butts, etc. Waste not, want not, right? We have Cookies and Milk with Santa on Thursday and I have to bring in 5 dozen cookies-so it's Pillsbury pre cut cookies for me. I'll bake this weekend-maybe a few dozen coconut macaroons and a few dozen butter balls, and that's it! Do you guys give your baked goods away as gifts? I had a freind who made 17 dozen!! And isn't done! As for dinner-tonight's salmon is frozen and marinated-but clean. It's wild Alaskan salmon from Trident Naturals. Kids will be eating what, I don't know!

I had a bean burrito made with a Smart and Delicious tortilla from La Tortilla Factory with fat free bean dip from Desert Pepper Trading Company w/ shredded 2% cheese and a dollop of light sour cream-yum!

Kaludia, Mike won't go near anything whole grain with a 10' pole! If it isn't white and processed he won't eat it! White bread or no bread for him. I've got a 1/2 of one left so just a little ways to go!
Maybe I'll do some baking - I think my resolve is pretty high today. Gotta make $ for the preschool, right?!;):p 17 dozen cookies is NUTS!
Baked chicken nuggets for the kids tonight?
The C&M thing sounds like fun! Good luck resisting!!!

okay, okay, i made the stinkin' cookies! soft & chewy chocolate chocolate chip.....w:Dw!

i had a small amount of dough...mmmm..

they're out of the oven now and i have another loaf of bread baking..
resisting thus far.....

still need to finisg gs back but i dont think itll happen til after dds goto bed.

you guys are making me laugh, and like i am among friends. soo, the cashews were not too bad, i guess, for an indulgence. that, and 2 mini yorks. but, i am on target for roast chicken, brussel sprouts, and salad for dinner. i hear you katie on eating as many fibrous things as possible!

klaudia, how do you make your sauteed spinch?

kate, good job with the baking. i have 12 breads on tap for wednesday.... luckily i do not like like them at all:)

tomorrow dh and i will go christmas shopping. i think things will be fine by then. i do have a bit of an adjustment each time he comes home, but it really could be lots worse. see you all tomorrow!

Workout done! I ended up doing PS BBA and 3 sets of pull ups. Snack was another tortilla with pb and I'm about to make some coffee:)

Kate, you're a baking machine! And I think chicken nuggets is a great idea. I long for the day when I only have to make one dinner.

Morris, cashews have protein and fiber, right?;) Spinach is easy-sautee some minced garlic in olive oil, throw in the spinach til it wilts, season, done! I might add in some leftover mushrooms, too. What does your DH do? And I agree about the friendship here. DH and I are contemplating a move and he keeps saying it would be hard for me with no friends. I told him as long as we have a computer, I have friends:) I think I talk to you ladies more than my in person friends anyway:)

Off to shower...

Hi, again! My work day is almost done and I decided I'm going to do the Body Blast Timesaver DVD again this week. I only did 4 of the 5 work outs the last two weeks I did it, so I'm committed to doing the whole thing this week. I'm going to start with the longest one tonight, the leg work out. It's legs and abs in under 50 minutes. You can't beat that with a stick, right?

Klaudia, I don't blame you guys for thinking about moving. But, it is hard to be far away from family. I've done it and it definitely has its advantages, but its disadvantages, too. Just like everything, right?

Kate, your cookies sound delish! One of my co-workers brought Christmas cookies in today. Okay, I've had 4. Oh, well, I'll work them off! And, yes, things are going pretty well with DH these days. We still have some work to do, but we're definitely back on the right track. I'll tell you what, when he and I separated I was down to a pretty thin size 6 and now that things are better I'm back up to a 8/10. I prefer fat and happy, let me tell you!

Colleen, CTX is a great idea for this week. I love that series. Maybe I'll try to do that one next week.

Morris, cashews are good for you! I had some yesterday. Of course, I had mine with funyuns....I can't believe you guys even let me check in here. My eating is SO not clean or tidy.

Katie, are you feeling better as the day goes on?

And hi to Angie! I hope you're doing well in France. I can't wait to hear all about your adventures!

anne

Anne, I prefer fat and happy too!! Yes, I am feeling better as the day goes on, thanks for asking!

Klaudia, you and those pull ups, you motivate me!

Kate, pass the cookies!! Glad I could make you laugh.

Chicken quesadillas for everyone else, chicken salad for me. Chicken is marinating in evoo, lime juice, and cilantro right now. YUMMMMM!! I had no salad greens in the house so I stopped at the store (in the cold, with a toddler, uphill both ways!) to get some -- good on me, right!?!

Anne, I love funyuns:) And if I told you what I consume on the weekends, you'd be shocked! If we moved, my parents would come, too; they couldn't bear to be away from the girls for more than a few days. My dad calls here 3-4 times a day to talk to them:) As for Darrin's family...;) I'm glad to hear things are going well for you guys-you can hear it in your posts:)

Katie, glad I motivate someone! Everyone around here just thinks I'm nuts-maybe they're right;) Your chicken sounds yum. You're cliumbing your way back up the tree with the salad:) Good job!

Waiting for dinner...
