Good morning all!

It's time to get a new week started -- forget your weekend slip-ups and resolve to eat clean this week!
 
Kate, YES, people sang that song to me all the time as a young girl. I haven't heard it in awhile.

I am up early again -- need to get to work early to get my Boss's Day brunch arranged before anyone shows up! I need some quick and dirty cardio -- I am thinking BM2 combos.

Eating will (hopefully) look something like this...

B cereal
S brunch food @work (portion-controlled UNclean snack)
L turkey and fruit
S cheese and wheat crackers
D beef and broccoli
 
Katie - You go girl!

My plan:
b- kashi, banana
s -apple
l - taco salad
s - ??
d - need to groc. shop today

Yikes! Not much of a plan. Will do some cardio tonight. Maybe Imax3.

I'm still thinking about that chocolate fudge cake with ice cream :9 :9 :9

You girls are right, this week is a new week for us to eat clean and tidy. The fitness magazine had no new articles same old toning exercises and advice. I may try women's health magazine.

No w/o today...I have to rest my DOMS, even my neck hurts :+

b- oatmeal with raisons
s- peanuts
l- salad and turkey sandwich (are cold-cuts clean???)
d- left overs
s- 100 cal cookies

Robin - ^5 on the DOMS! Not sure what Tosca thinks of cold cuts but I see protein.

Hello clean and tidy friends!

I'm sorry i didnt check in yesterday, crazy with preparing for my trip on Thursday. I gave my students their midterms as well this morning, so lots of marking before i leave for England!
Weekend, not too good...but its Monday!
Did you all see my post on Saturday about my chiropractor/back suggestions? He says i can not lift heavier than 5lbs until i get back :( But i can try riding the bike, so tonight i'm going to try spinning! I went from heavy cardio/weights to trying to ride a bike!! So humbling really.
Its very busy here at work, we have the UN envoy for HIV here to visit, i will try to get back and post :)
Great menu's today everyone, Kate, i did see you baked a nice cake on the weekend!! i may have had some dark chocolate covered cherries yesterday...bad!

I am glad to hear that everyone is refocusing after a bad weekend.
Robin - I have heard mixed things about cold cuts. Many people don't think they are clean because most cold cuts contain nitrates.

No workout today! I slept through my alarm and woke up all congested.

Steph - You sound like you have a very interesting job! The UN??!! Details please! Before I met DH I wanted to be an interpreter working for the UN. Ah, in my next life, right? Good luck with the workouts in ENGLAND! Lucky girl! Business or pleaseure?

Colleen - As far as the cold cut topic goes....I think they're a good source of protein, but I agree w/ you on the additives. Personally, I don't even like them (they alsways look slimy to me) so I don't think about them too much. Great meal plan today, btw! Hope your congestion clears up. Both DDs were up coughing last night. Thank you, school!x( Our family almost never got sick until DD1 went to prechool last year. All summer long we were healthy, then school starts and here we go again!

PS - Is anyone else checking their email and the blog like every 10 minutes for a shipment notification???? I am!
 
Morning didn't go as well as planned, I had an clean -- but portion controlled -- breakfast AND snack. Lunch and on will be clean for me.

HOWEVER, I did BM2 combos PLUS blast #2 with the wide lunges not once but TWICE. I don't know why, but I really love that one! Does that make up for the chocolate chip scone I have for breakfast???

I think it does Katie BM2 is great.

Instead of cold cuts for sandwiches I'm going to cook a turkey breast and use my electric knife to cut some thin slices. I think that is a lot cleaner and maybe cheaper too. Thanks for then advice ladies.

Well, i'm just sitting down to lunch, clean one!

The HIV UN rep, Stephen Lewis came to speak and tour our HIV clinic today, it was incredible. For those of us here that do HIV care, its pretty much the biggest thing ever! Kate, London for vacation to visit my best friend!

Now, back to real life right!

B: usual oatmeal
s: cc
l: organic corn chowder, carrots, hummus and an apple
i might eat my ryveta with lunch, since i missed lunch entirely.
D: TBD

I'm going to try to spin tonight,and do some ab work on the ball!

Katie - I'd say BM2 works off just about anything you want to eat in a day!:)

Robin - Good for you on the cold cuts! Yours will probably taste better anyway!

Steph - How long will you be inLondon for? I've been once. It would be nice to have a personal tour guide though! Good luck w/ you w/o tonight!

My taco salad was great. I did eat some tortilla chips and man, were they good. Salty, crunchy, but not too many. I still have no clue on what to make for dinner. It's getting late - maybe soup!
 
What a wierd end to my day. Had a large portion of trail miz for snack. DDs wanted to read stories and we all fell asleep in my bed. Was satisfied from lg. snack so dinner was a banana and some AllBran crackers. I feel queasy and gross. I'd better not be getting sick right before my DVDs come!!!!

Hoping to still do my w/o tonight!

My eating for the second half of the day went clean & as planned. However, here I sit two hours after dinner and I am pretty hungry. Crap!

Oh well, better go to bed. I SWEAR by the two hour rule, so I WILL NOT eat anything else!
 
^5 to you Katie, but what is the 2-hr. rule? I'm probably breaking it!

Well, I forced myself to get over feeling yucky and I did Imax2, baby! Sweat so much, feel so good. Actually, great. I haven't done that one in a long time and it reminded me why I LOVE to workout and be fit.
