Clean & Tidy - Mon. 7-16

Good morning!

Robin, Good luck getting clean today! You can do it!

The day started off tidy. Had my Kashi & banana. Also had a few bites of DDs french toast. Yum. Hey, it's got egg for protein, right?:p

I have no plan for the day today in regards to food. Hoping to keep clean. We're going to have a very busy day today. Oue employee that does our errands for us is off all week so that means extra running for me. Also we have the last week of swim classes for DDs. And I'm training some new office help. AH! I miss when my girls were babies and we just got to hang out together...

Well, hopefully I can keep it clean. And not have too much clean. Wish I didn't love food so much. Half the time my problem isn't WHAT I'm eating but HOW MUCH I'm eating, even if it is clean.

Oh my! I almost forgot! I got introduced to dries cherries yesterday. Wow! So good!
 
G'morning Clean Eaters! I'd like to say I was feeling great, but my dh shared his summer cold w/ me. :eek: I am feeling great about staying on track this weekend though! It helps that I stocked up on tons of berries and fresh veggies so I have lots of healthy choices! I have heard all of your rave reviews of the quintessential quinoa, so I need to buy some quinoa to make it! I also really want to try the hearty white bean chili, has anyone else made that yet?

Well, so far I've had my 20 oz water and a cup of coffee. Will make breakfast in a few. Workout planned today is S & H Legs & shoulders. (did I mention that I finished up my P90X rotation??? :) )

Here's my *plan*:

Breakfast ~ Usual oatmeal + berries

Snack ~ Yogurt + berries

Lunch ~ Big veggie salad + tuna & boiled egg whites

Snack ~ Not sure yet

Dinner ~ Another big salad + some sort of protein, probably chicken

Kate ~ Sounds like a busy day! It is busy running around w/ kiddos, I know that! I'm the same way, I don't eat a lot of unclean foods, but it's easy to overeat the clean ones which is still too many cals! Have a good one!
 
Hi cleaner-uppers. So far so good. WW english muffin with almond butter and jelly for breakfast. And a banana. Lunch is a PB&J on WW with carrots and a fruit salad. Dinner is corn on the cob and tacos. I know tacos aren't clean, but I'll have just a tad of meat and mostly veggies on mine. Today's workout will be something steppy, but I haven't figured out what exactly yet. Have a nice day all.

I didnt check in on the weekend, but it was my best in a long time! The only booboo, coffee on an empty stomach visiting my grandmother, and threw up! TMI?
Today, all is well, feeling really tired,

hey everyone...good afternoon
I plan to eat:
Breakfast: Cereal and milk, juice
Snack: 1/4 cup of peanut
Lunch: grill chicken salad
Snack: low cal popcorn 1 cup
Dinner: ??

Does everyone plan their meals the night before?

Hey I drop 4 of the 5# which I'd gain due to my friends' bridal shower and wedding (mmmmmm chocolate fountain was tooooo good).:)

Keep up the good work all you clean lean eating machine. LOL:D

Update so far:

Breakfast ~ Usual oatmeal + berries

Snack (post weights) ~ Vanilla yogurt w/ 1/2 scoop choc. protein powder & a few blueberries

Lunch ~ Salad w/ spinach, broccoli cole slaw, brocc, cauli, tuna, boiled egg white, and drizzle of olive oil & balsamic; berries & grapes

Dinner ~ We decided to take the girls hiking tonight so I'll pack a picnic style dinner. Probably a sandwich on a light flatbread, some fruit, etc..
 
I *try* to plan my meals the night before. If I don't we end up having what we had tonight....Hamoburger helper. Yuck. I hate that stuff but DH and DDs love it. So I made that for them and for me I made a whole bunch of cut-up veggies, tons of spicy salsa on top and a little bit of dry Kashi cereal.

I don't feel like I ate anything terribly unclean today but I just don't feel like I made the "best" choices during the day. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

I'll do PUB tonight. It's one of my faves for UB. I've got some wicked DOMS from Butts & Guts last night. Yay! I love it when that happens.

Hi Kate it's funny that I also look for DOMS by the next day. I remember when I started doing Cathe...I had IOMS (immediate onset...)LOL:)

Have fun with PUB it is one of my favorites.
