Morning everyone,

Sorry I never came around over the weekend. We had a good time at Disney and I was just busy cleaning and unpacking yesterday after we got home. Eats were Disney like but I didn't go overboard and never felt stuffed.

I did get a short WO in Saturday morning. Upper body portion of push pull and Core Max 1.

This morning was Circuit Max. I really like that WO. It's just a good calorie burn and to the point! My shin/calf whatever it is had a slight amount of discomfort but not too bad. Just need to modify a bit but I think it will be ok.

I'm going to figure out another cardio to do here in a few minutes after I make beds and get my sheets in the washer. Otherwise no big plans for the day. Need to swing by the grocery store for a few things.

We leave a week from Friday to head back to the States... craziness.

I can't believe you Michiganers got so much snow. Post pics! I'm jealous. Sort of...

Okay, did core max seg 2 (my favorite) and then the original Imax. I skipped the last interval b/c I had met my 1000 cals for the day and I was wiped!

Gotta eat and go pick up the girls for lunch. Be back later!
 
Angie, Sounds like you had a great family weekend! You sound so happy and peaceful today.:) Good job @ Disney!

Angie, I did the original IMAX yesterday - so fun! Goodness gracious, 1000 cals? I don't burn nearly that many with that workout... Glad you guys had a good trip to Disney!

Manic Monday is right - I am having internet issues this morning and DVD player issues... So I wasted all my time messing with those things, and I am sitting here (finally online) dressed to workout but out of time. Grrrrr! Tonight will be busy too but I will *try* to squeeze it in.

Family pictures were great - we love them and bought a lot! We got home really late, though. Collin will probably be a bear today... I will post some if I can figure out how.

we went to see my mom yday evening and it went well. my weekend was just great, and i am sad the next is rapidly approaching as i do not want to say good bye to dh. today is busy with running around. am trying to get to the gym this am to use the bike or elliuptical - something non impact. also have abs and legs on tap. eats were great yday, plan to keep it that way today. i am sick of being frustrated, so i need to change things!
 
Morning!

Starting off my day with sheets-Nevena peed the bed:( Good thing I was planning on doing them anyway! Got lots done yesterday-cleaned my closet, laundry, put up our tree and decorations, and did PH. Did I mention I'm not a fan of endurance workouts? Or maybe I'm just burned out from them. I'm going to switch to heavy weights for a while-thinking FF's December rotation. Today will be cardio-kickbox or the treadmill. Have some errands to run too and dance tonight. Fun, fun!

Angie, we have the same day planned! We got NO snow on our side of the state-not a flake. Looks like we're getting hit with a wintry mix in a few days though-blech. Great workouts!

Kate, great job with on the eats with all those parties! I wish I could channel your willpower. I need to tighten my eating up big time!

Katie, can't wait to see pictures! I'm waiting for Darrin to upload the software from our new camera so I can post more pics-we have like 500+! Hope you can sneak in a workout!

Nina, so glad for your good weeeknd! I feel the same way-sick of being frustrated. Hope you can get away to the gym. I can't wait for new workouts-I'm getting bored with everything I have. I'm going to sign up for a boxing class in January-can't wait!

I am getting ready to leave for my first day! I did HIKB KB portion and Parts Series UB. I don't really know my plans for the day because it will all be new. I have orientation so I think it will be mostly listening and filling out paperwork.

Katie, I can't wait to see the pictures.
Klaudia, you had a productive weekend. I am getting bored with my workouts too. They are supposed to ship next week.

Lunch and grocery shopping done. Tanning too... don't wanna be pasty on our cruise and burn like a crisp.

Kate, UGH about Mike's car. I hate that violation feeling. LOL on the sheets. :D You're doing STS 1 again? And I'm waiting for my PM about your dr news!

Katie, can't wait to see the pics!! And NO, I did not burn 1000 with Imax. It was Circuit Max, Imax and a segment of Core Max. Guess it was a max kinda day.

Nina, we will technically be in the States from Dec 18-Jan 8 but will be cruising Dec 26-Jan 3. We are busy with appointments, seeing friends, celebrating Christmas, etc. I'm excited but not looking forward to the travel. What are you frustrated about? I hope you feel success from your WO today!

Klaudia, I hate wet beds. I think we're going to do a bed wetting alarm for Annabel after the holidays. She is NEVER dry at night and is 5! And I can't say I agree about the endurance WO thing... I LOVE them.

Colleen, happy first day! I hope it goes well and it's everything you'd hoped for. What is this WO you did? HIKB?

Off to put those sheets on the bed and do a few other things before picking up the kids.

Hi Girls !!!!

I am so late checking in ! Sorry about that, I am just trying to get back into the swing of things.
Leaving the warm weather was hard but then we woke up to SNOW! It was snowing pretty good, snow on the ground and roads were awful- wrecks everywhere !
It took my dh an hour to get to work and that's more than twice as long as normally!

I haven't read all the posts yet, though I will when I have some time this afternoon .

I did start Cathe's Dec rotation. Is anyone doing it ??
What a workout to START back with ! WHEW !!!!!!!!!
Cardio premix from drillmax, plus 200 crunches & 30 pushups !:eek:

I haven't even showered yet, got busy in the kitchen and made lentil collard green soup and have corn bread and a cake in the oven ! (I will skip bread and cake , but dh and dd will be glad to have it )
My dad ordered collard green soup when we went out to eat in Florida and I've been thinking about it ever since! got on the internet this morning and found that recipe, so I hope it's good !!! Fingers are crossed !!

Only had a 1/2 day at work today and I'm too scared to check my schedule for the rest of the week.

After I pick up my son I plan to do a short core workout...maybe yoga or pilates
 
hey everyone - crummy morning here. i sat in the legal office at work for 3 hours only to find we need to talk on the phone to the office in norfolk. i am seeking more money for damages from our move. so, my gym time got cut substantially - 40 min of intervals on elliptical. did core and legs at quiet time, though. and got my house vacumned:D snacking on some brocolli now (sorry kate) and a smoothie later. going out to dinner and shop with dh tonight:)

angie, i too am very pale and totally paranoid about melanoma:( have fun, though. i am frustrated right now with 3-4 lbs. it is not a huge deal, but i am sick of wishing it away, you know?

kate, pm me too about doc! enjoy sts.

klaudia, i can understand the boredom with wos. try your s and h again! i liked the doms last week and will do another week of it before hitting gs or 4ds.

morning! i am on the run today -- have to return the undergarments i bought the other day, they dont work with the dress once i got home and tried it all together... headed to the huge undies section at macys and bringing the dress and hopefully can find the right thing. i might get some shoes too if i see something fancy schmancy calling my name.

went to spin today and HOLY COW. is all i can say. i lasted the whole class but could not lift my backside up on all the climbs!!!!! kept saying just give it my best and it will get better as i keep going. so sore and it was only a few hours ago. tomorrow is gonna be killer!

Lentil and Collard Greens Soup

1 T olive oil
1 large onion , chopped
1 T. salt (I left this out)
1 cup dry red lentils, rinsed and drained
6 cups water (I used chicken broth)
1 bunch collard greens- rinsed, stemmed & thinly sliced
1 T ground cumin
1 t. ground cinnamon
2 T minced garlic
1/3 cup lemon juice

Heat olive oil in pot over medium heat, stir in onion & salt; cook until softened and translucent, about 4 minutes. Stir in lentils, cook for 1 minute. Pour in water, then bring to boil over high heat, then turn to medium-low, cover and simmer until lentils are tender, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, saute greens in 2 more T. of olive oil for about 10 minutes , until wilted (or steam them- which is what I did) When lentils are tender, stir in greens and season with cumin, cinnamon, and garlic, allow to simmer 10 more minutes. Stir in lemon juice before serving.
 
Becky, I made almost the exact same recipe today-except I used spinach and green lentils and added carrots and chili powder cause I didn't have any cumin:) No cinnamon-don't like it in my savory foods. Can't wait for dinner!

Angie, does she wear a pull up? Nevena's good most nights-unless I forget to remind her to go before bed. I'm petrified of melanoma-especially for Danica. She's covered in moles-huge risk factor. So as much as I love being bronzed, I can't do it.

Kate, did you go on a walk? Brr!

Robin, I think I'm going to do FF's rotation-it's 4Ds, GS and their premixes. We'll see how it goes. Or I may try something from http://figureathlete for a change.

No workout for me yet-nothing sounds good. Ugh. Maybe I'll just walk on the treadmill and watch Dr. Oz-better than nothing, right?
 
2 mile walk done. And it was COLD!!!! :p that will prob be our last walk...Julia wasn't enjoying so much!:p:(

Glad the class was fun/challenging! I love finding s'thing new like that! I'm so ready to get back to some impact. My knee doesn't hurt at all anymore but I need to wait til January. BOOO!:p
