Good morning! So far, so good!

b - 9-grain toast and a banana. I also ate the skins off of the apple my girls shared for breakfast

Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. Saturdays are very sproadic around here. We'll be doing stairmax at DH's deceased great uncle's house again so I'll get my cardio there! I think I'll do MM UB tonight. I got a great night's sleep last night so that will help curb the munchies.

I woke up this morning to my girls yelling "Something terrible! Annie (our dog) did a poo poo!" Well, it was barf. Better than poop I guess. That probably helped curb my appetite this morning too!:p

Have a healthy day!

Ugh! Not a great way to wake up!!! I have had my share of being woken up in the middle of the night by one of my babies' retching!!!

It is true that it is harder to plan meals on the weekend. DF and I also try to be less strict on the weekend so we dono't feel totally deprived.

I am trying to motivate to work out this morning, but so far, my motivaation is still low. Maybe I need to go put on my workout clothes to get me in the mood.

Hope everyone has a clean or tidy day!!!

Someone had posted that Ezekiel makes rolls. You could also use an Ezekiel wrap. I actually like my veggie burgers without bread. I usually sautee lots of onions, then lettuce and tomato. You could put mustard on it as well. I do like ketchup but haven't had any (b/c it has a lot of sugar) since we started this challenge. I think sugar-free, low-salt ketchup would taste yuck! :(

Morning! Actually do you know what? You can get ketchup at a Whole Foods store that is sugar free and tastes fabulous-serious! I love my ketchup and will use the regular stuff-before this challenge of course, but then I found this healthier version. :) Oh, and try wrapping your burger in a big lettuce leaf-head lettuce works best-I have done this and it tasted great, plus you can still hold it like a regular burger on a bun.

I just realized how close Tuesday is! (my hip surgery)good grief. I have been trying to fit in all these workouts before my surgery, and feel very pooped today-yesterday I did Cardio Fusion plus the floorwork and abs from B&G. I have been off my megamilligrams (ibuprofen)so it really feels like I am working out with a very bad injury, it hurts-cannot wait to get this thing fixed already!:) :)

I already enjoyed my bowl of Kashi and my lowfat chocolate soymilk-thanks again for that tip. And again, how much do I love Linus!!:D I have to click on this pic everyday.

The rest of the day is up in the air, I think I will be making a fresh foods trip to Whole Foods-wish me and my wallet luckx( So expensive, yet such a great shopping experience...

I will however eat lots of veggies and protein today. Yesterdays intake was actually pretty good, two large salads with sprouts, the Ezekiel pocket bread-yum, some raw cashews, another yum.
I will do Candace's itread or whatever its called workout this am, and maybe book a massage for later in the day.
Sorry for droning on and on guys, I think I am getting nervous. Have a wonderful weekend!:D

PS: Yes, I would have to say, puke is better than "poo!"But neither is fun to clean up:eek:

Tneah,

Hmmmm...I may have to try that ketchup.

The Kashi/chocolate soy is addictive!!! }(

I will be thinking about you and sending you many positive healing vibes on Tuesday. Please keep us posted as to how you are doing.

I absolutely LOVE iTread! I just did one today. I thought I only had energy/motivation to do a 40 minute one, so I put in Set 1 40 min. and ended up repeating phase 1, 2 and 3 at the end. I started feeling really good and didn't want to stop. I really love the variety in the workouts and the constant changes of pace and incline. Keeps me from being bored. :) So far, out of all theones I've done, I like Set 1's the best.

Off with DF to run around for the day. I have finally convinced him to go to a running store to get new running shoes. He has never been properly fitted and usually just buys what he sees (ugh!). Personally, I think it makes all the difference in the world when you are fitted correctly for a shoe. I think he will notice a big difference in his runs.

So far, today I have had canned salmon on an Ezekiel wrap w/ mustard Nayonaisse, tomatoes, and spinach...mmm! I didn't want to eat anything before I ran because it always makes me nauseous. Don't know what the rest of my day will look like. Probably more tidy than clean! ;)

I agree w/ wrapping your burger in lettuce. I don't like buns because they are just too filling. White bread makes me bloat up like crazy. I don't like anything else on my burger except for low-fat cheese. I have never liked mayo, ketchup, or mustard. Everyonr thinks I'm crazy, but since they're not healthy anyway why bother tasting them now? Same thing w/ salad dressing - it grosses me out. The only thing I'll put on my salad is salsa but I usually have it plain.

That being said I did have a salad for luch today w/ salsa, romaine, and green pepper. I had some fresh pineapple on the side. Yum.

Snack was my girls' apple skins w/ some peanut butter (a little) and some almonds.

Not sure what's for dinner but the momentum is high for eating clean!

Tneah, I wish we had a Whole Foods here! Good luck in your surgery!
