<(^)> :: clean / tidy HUMP DAY :: <(^)>

Sorry I never got back here last night -- CRAZY day! Going to work an hour early was a really smart thing to do -- I got a LOT done. And Collin loved tumbling class last night -- he can't wait to go back.

Kate, I hope Julia is being good to you!! Kiss her for me!
Colleen, we don't turn on our phones at our office until 8:30 am so until then, clients can just forget about it! It really does help to get stuff done.
Angie, I will work on a new rotation for you I promise. Just gimme a couple days!
Klaudia, today is a new day, you'll get your workout in today.

Well, I am up early and I would like to do a short cardio (I'm thinking high int. drills from KPC) to get my little cardio fix. I should also have the family take a walk this evening, since the weather has been so nice (80ish degrees!).

Today WILL BE 100% clean -- I am feeling the bloat from TTOM and less-than-tidy eating

Robin, great workout yesterday!! I've been meaning to ask -- how do the kids like their new school?
Anne, welcome to the check in!!

Menu today:

b cereal
s s'berries, almonds
l sandwich
s apple
d ??? maybe grilled chicken

Morning all

Katie I'm glad that Collin loved his class so now you might have to get a tumbling mat for him.;) My DS is getting use to his new school but he still don't like to tuck in his shirt uniform. My DD is starting to like her school also b/c she stays after school with her cousin to help this teacher. I met this teacher she is young and hip...cool...fresh.

Anne thanks for sharing your story. I now it's difficult to go through marriage problems. I was married for 10 years and then my DH past away (plural-pneumonia). So try to work it out as best you can (((hugs))).

My upper bod has some DOMS this morning so today I'm going to try to work on my lower bod. Maybe some power walking.

Good morning!

I am definitely going to the grocery store today! If I dont, the family is going to be eating beans!

Today's workout is a 30 minute run/walk.

Katie, I'm with ya on the pms/bloat thing. Yuck! We women can never catch a break.

Robin, I'm sorry about the loss of your husband. I didn't know. I'm glad the kids are adjusting to their new school. That can be tough. I moved in junior high-not fun. Have a good time on your power walk. Oh, and check out the Open Discussion board. They just had a thread about crock pot recipes. Looked like there were some good ones:)

Hi to Anne, Angie, Kate, Colleen, Emily, Stephanie, and Natalie:)

Breakfast was all bran and coffee; everything else is up in the air.

Hey, everybody, thanks for the kind words and warm welcome! I actually got up early (for me) today and exercised before work. I am a total and complete sleepyhead, so this was a great accomplishment. I love getting my workout in first thing in the morning, but it's so hard for me to get out of bed that it's very rare. I'm going to work really hard on getting back into that habit. When I exercise most every day, I just feel so much better in general. I just did the cardio portion of LIS from 4DS, but it felt great to get the body moving again. I've been such a slug lately, but I'm getting back on track.

Tap class last night was very fun. I have this fantastic teacher who pushes us, but not too much. She's very encouraging and when I say things like, "You know I can't do crossover drawbacks," she replies, "No, I don't know that, just try it. Get the motion going and the sounds will come." I just love her.

Katie--I'm glad Collin liked tumbling. I used to do that as a kid and it was so fun! I miss just rolling around on the floor. Great workout today, too!

Robin--I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how tough that is. As for crock pot recipes, I did a quick Google search and found this site: http://www.crock-pot-recipes.info/. I didn't look at any of the recipes, though, so I don't know how good they sound.

Kate--I hope you and Julia are resting comfortably and all is well. Did Gina and Isabel get to stay home from school today too?

Klaudia--no worries about your workout yesterday. You'll get it done today. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, right?

Okay, I'm sure I missed some folks--my apologies. I hope everybody has a great day!

Morning,

I don't have much time this morning but I'll be back this afternoon. We have to take Ellie to the dentist to get an eval on her tooth. We're pretty confident that we will be able to cap it. It looks pretty good so we'll find out.

WO today will be LIC #3 that I was supposed to do yesterday. I'll check in after its done!

hey!!!! i miss you guys!!!!!!!

everything is going so well. i am so in love with this baby. i cant put her down!:D she is the sweetest most beautiful little thing ever! I can't believe we ever had a moment of indecision about having a 3rd baby. this just feels like this was totally meant to be.

do i make you all LOL and tell you what ive been eating?! EVERYTHING!!!!!:D i forgot how hungry nursing makes you!

I'll try to get back later for personals - just wanted to peek in and say hello!

KATE! Please give that sweet baby a kiss for me, she sounds delightful! Don't worry about us for now, but know that we're all thinking of you and the family. Enjoy that bundle of joy!

Hi Kate! Enjoy the food-you've earned it:) And give that baby a smooch:)

My workout is done. I did run/walk intervals, running at 6.0 for 90 sec, then walking at 4.0 for 2 minutes. Every time I ran, I increased the incline by 1% to challenge myself. I figure it's a good way to increase my endurance for the 5K my friend got me to run in December. Next time I think I'll increase the speed.

Got my shopping done. I am going to put us in the poorhouse, I swear. I just can't buy all that junk that's usually on sale. I've gotta start planning better. I wish they had coupons for fruits and veggies:(

Robin, I've got crock pot stuffed peppers going right now and they smell heavenly:) Let me know if you want the recipe.

Hi, Klaudia, can I have the crock pot stuffed peppers recipe? I love stuffed peppers, but have never tried to make them. Thanks!

anne

thanks ladies for the Crockpot recipes.
stuffed peppers sounds really easy. Is it the same but instead of the oven I can put them in the crock?

Hey Kate when are we going to see our little Julia pic?

Hey Anne, here ya go. It's a combination of 2 recipes.

Crock Pot Stuffed Peppers

1 lb. ground beef (I used ground turkey)
1 cup cooked rice (I used brown rice)
10 oz. frozen corn
1 can diced tomatoes ( I used zesty jalepeno)
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs. ketchup
pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together and stuff a good amount into each pepper. Nestle the peppers in your crock pot and pour 1/3 cup water around the base. (Here I put the remaining filling with 1/3 cup salsa.) Cook on low for 6-8 hours. ( I cooked them on high for 3 hours, then reduced the heat to low for another 1 1/2.) I also added some shredded 2% Mexican cheese blend in the last 1/2 hour. You can save the pepper tops and put them back on after stuffing, if you want.

We're getting ready to have dinner now. I can't wait to see how they taste. I'll be back with a verdict later:)
