Colleen, I'm so sorry to hear about all of your work stress right now, I can definitely relate. I think with the way the economy is right now, many of us are being expected to do more work for less pay.
Klaudia, good job on the workout, I hear you on the 'dread factor' for long workouts. Hopefully I will be so in love with STS that I will just pop out of bed on time, haha!
Morris, sorry that no one napped for you yesterday. Did you enjoy your day at home otherwise?
Robin, how are your legs feeling this morning? I love plyo legs, but haven't tried any of the other STS legs stuff, I can't wait! How is it?

Well thankfully yesterday turned out to not be all bad. I didn't make it to Collin's party because I had to be in court, but I did get out of court early so I said screw going back to the office, I am going to get my kid! So I picked him up early, took him to the playground for a few, then home. He wanted to watch a certain cartoon so I did Muscle Max UB premix while he watched that and dinner was in the oven. So all in all, I feel much better about my workouts and my mothering! Haha!

Today will be Plyo Legs :p, tomorrow I am thinking LIC, and a long run on Saturday before resting Sunday and starting STS on Monday.

Better get to it, be back soon!
 
Hi,

Just had lunch with the kids and they're watching home movies. They love to watch themselves as babies. :)

This afternoon I am going to a women's club with some people from the church with Ellie (during nap time... hopefully she won't be a bear!). I'm looking forward to it - I'm really starting to meet some nice people!

WO will be 4DS lis/calves/shoulders/core - I'll have to do it tonight since I'm going to this club thing during nap time. Tomorrow I'll do day 3 of that couch to 5k. The girls have school next week but then have two weeks off for vacation so I'll have to figure out when I can run during that time! Not sure what to do.

Katie, glad you had a better day y'day! I think you'll do great with STS! Some long WOs don't bother me, others do... just depends.

OK... gotta get going. Silly girls here!
 
Katie that was a good plan to let DS watch TV while you did your weight work. You are going to love sTS legs b/c she makes you work hard. STS is not boring at all. My butt is sore today. I'm sure you will pop up out of bed when you start STS. Poor DH;)

Angie enjoy your women's club. It's nice to meet new people. Do you think that you spend more money when the kids are home? I do and my electric bill is higher too.

Today is a cardio day so I'm going to do Amy's ASC3.(no step) plus STS core.

Morning!

It's wet and windy here today. Lucky for me I have nowhere to go-again! Legs are on tap for today-Plyo Legs, I think. Feeling good about my eats-last night was a huge salad with chickpeas, deli turkey, cukes, tomato, and mushrooms. I had a bowl of cereal as a treat.

Katie, glad your day turned out well. What Plyo Legs are you doing?

Angie, you're turning into une papillon sociale:) Have fun today! How are you liking the running program? I'm thinking of starting it again in March for a 5k in May with my 9 year old!

Robin, keep your STS reviews coming! I need to hear how fun they are so I can get going with them!

Angie, I'm so glad you're meeting some people, it will help you feel more at home when you have friends. Don't you love Step Blast? I can't decide between that and Rhythmic Step as my all-time favorite Cathe cardio.

Klaudia, do you have flooding where you are? I heard on the radio that your area was especially hard hit. And, did you hear the MSU women's basketball team is only a half game behind OSU for first place in the Big Ten? Woohoo!

Colleen, the pork chops weren't really a recipe. DH and I go to a butcher to buy meat, maybe 4 or 5 times a year. So, we buy a lot and freeze it. Before we freeze it, we often put some kind of marinade on it. We always 3 or 4 kinds of mustard around (because I love it), so we just put a grainy mustard on the pork chops and then froze them. Took them out of the freezer a couple of days ago and thawed them in the fridge. I just threw 'em in the oven on 350 for 30 minutes. They were great, tho. I had no idea you could marinate in the freezer, but we tried it once and it works great. I highly recommend it.

Up fairly early this morning (6:35) and did the 43 minute cardio premix from Body Max 2. I didn't realize it started with the bonus cardio, which I hadn't done, so I stumbled around a bit at first, but then I managed to get through it. I definitely got sweaty! So that's all my cardio for the week. Tomorrow I do S&H bis and tris and then I'm done. I have no idea how I'm going to fit 6 work outs in next week, as we're traveing this weekend and probably won't be home on Sunday until about 6. Will someone please give me permission to do 4DS next week instead of S&H? Thanks.

Hi Everyone!

Last night I did not sleep well because my throat was really sore. With the warm weather the last couple days my allergies have kicked into high gear. So I slept in this morning and skipped my workout. I got up took all of my drugs and I am hoping from some relief soon.

Klaudia, it is really windy here. I heard that some tractor trailers were blown off the road. Good job on the eats last night.

Angie, I bet you are feeling better now that you are meeting some people who speak English. How are the french lessons going?
Robin, I have legs on tap for tomorrow. I am really sore from yesterday's back and tri's. The chinups with my iron gym got my lats and my tris are sore from the heavier weight.

I am hoping to do my workout tonight and if I do it will be KBX (Kickbox Extreme)

morning everyone - i wll be so glad when thrusday s over!! ths will be quick, but i will bbl.

the scale is officially up, so i am startng a food journal today. i know t sn't what i am eatng, but the portons. i wll pull t together, startng today!. dd a nce 9 mler this am and some pull ups and chnups. plan to take a wlak or stretch at lunch n order to get thru my afternoon. all n all yesterday ended up great despte no naps. we went for a walk nstead, played outsde a lot, then the boys played while did some lower bbody work and stretchs. they love to clnb on me:)

sorry about the scale. i struggle w/ portions too - i ate my body weight in grapes yday. they wer too good!
glad you had a good day yday! it usually ends up better than we think it will. i need to remember that!
 
Quick drive by--DH just had flowers delivered to me at work for Valentine's Day. We never do stuff for those kinds of holidays, so I'm really touched. It's a beautiful arrangement of daisies, which is my all-time favorite flower. I think he's a keeper!

Colleen and Morris, thank you!!! I mean it, sometimes I just need someone else to tell me it's okay to slow down a little bit, kwim? 4DS for next week, and if I end up with time for a 5th day, I'll do extra cardio or extra stretching. I'll just play it by ear.

Hey girls!

We are home from the club. It was a good mix of English and French speakers and I think it will be really good for me. I am starting to feel much better about living here. I knew god would provide friends for me.

We are sitting in the driveway bc ellie is sleeping and we pick up anna in 20 min so we just wait...

Anne I think it is so great that you and dh are doing well! And yes please do whatever you want. I know that I could not do the same thing for two weeks straight so rotations are my friend!

Kate please don't worry about the package - when it comes it will be a great surprise! You make me want another baby with all your julia talk. I loved my babies! But hated pg!!!!

Morris sorry about the scale! I should start a food diary too. Maybe I will start reporting each am what I had the day before... But as usual your wo kicked butt!!

Colleen sorry you are not feeling well! Prob wise to skip your wo! French lessons are ok. I am trying to get her to switch books bc I don't like the one she uses - it is so unorganized!

ontrack here but getting hungry - is it lunchtime yet? also very anxious - i think my mom is releasing herself today, and i do not have a lot of confidence she is at all ready. she is still so sad. nights are her worst time. i hope to talk to her soon. also, dh and i have decided to get out of the military and move to jacksonville fla where he will be a reservist. we will move this summer. klaudia, how do you think jax sounds??

kate, i empathize with the baby thing. i hated pregnancy, though. good job with the snacks and party plan.

we took a trip to jax for our 1st anniv. was nice there. great beach! glad you guys have a deciion made - thats the haredst part!
